Get Some Veg Before Musik Fest - Edit
My family of four had a delicious early dinner here before going to Musik Fest this week. It was our second visit, and we have enjoyed our meals both times. Special stand outs include the gyro, cheesesteak, and perogies. Our pickiest eater liked his cheese quesadilla as well. They have some fancy seltzers that were a nice treat without sugar.

I can't wait to go back. I went at the beginning of March. I wish I lived closer because I would go there all the time. We got a lot of specials, the buffalo mac and cheese I will never forget. My daughter loved the pesto grilled cheese. It was pure comfort food. I wish I could order everything on their menu.

The food includes nachos, nacho salad, tofu tacos, burgers, loaded fries, sandwiches, and more. I couldn’t possibly order it all in one shot, but it’s another chance to go back! They mark gf if you need gf options- specify!
Oh, and my favorite- milkshakes! So good! And, they have soft serve ice cream- that is probably the best part! They have a zillion toppings so you can mix it however you please and be very very happy. Sauces, fruit, candy, nuts- so many choices! I am definitely going back soon as I can!

Loved my first trip there. We both had the Big Mac Hoagie. I was happy that they gave gluten free options (clearly labeled on the menu) for my husband. The loaded Pierogies were amazing. I can’t wait to go back and try other items. If you eat outside, the city is beautiful and you have a nice view of the library.

This would be my second time eating at VegOut, the first I treated myself to their Big Mac Hoagie (gf) which wasn’t something I would’ve ordered on my own but was glad it was recommended to me. It tasted JUST like a McDonald’s product, the secret sauce has been cracked, VegOut holds the key. This time around however, I doubled down, nay...TRIPLED down... Chicken Gyro, Animal Fries, Cookie Monster Milkshake, AND a Boston Cream Donut.
Read moreI was blown away, it didn’t come as a surprise but I was absolutely tossed in the best of ways. The donut was a really nice bonus because its one of the things I haven’t been able to easily find to replace non-vegan donuts, and this one hit the spot indefinitely.
The menu changes slightly per owners decisions in the kitchen, I assume availability or customer demand, but its more of a reason to get out there and eat it more, just in case your favorite item is about to disappear! 😅

I have been here a handful of times and I've had a positive experience every time. I especially like the salads.. they are huge and satisfying. This is a good place to take non-vegan friends & family, because they will enjoy the meal just as much. Just plain good food, whether you are vegan or not!

Vegout’s food has slowly gone downhill for me. The mac and cheese used to be flavorful and creamy, but now tends to be hard/dry. They stopped selling some of the better items like the Reuben made with fake meat rather than tofu. I’m still happy to have a fully vegan restaurant in the area, but I wish it was good enough to convert my non-veg friends.

I am a whole food plant-based lifestyle person. The food here is such a treat. I will never lose weight eating their delicious creations! But don't we often go out to eat for an indulgence? I have worked in the food industry. I have staged with Gray Kunz and at Taillevent. Haute cuisine Vegout is not, but it is delicious, full-flavored vegan expressions of everyday food! If you are vegan, you must try this charming place. If you are not vegan, try it so you can feel less guilty about injuring your health and compromising one's ethics while enjoying a delicious Ruben sandwich or some other such American staple!
