Really great vegan/veggie restaurant in Varna!! We had such a lovely waitress who spoke amazing English. This was really helpful for me as I have a severe nut allergy, and with a good few items on the menu containing nuts, she was super attentive and made sure I felt comfortable. My partner and I went for the quesadilla and the jackfruit pizza, both were really tasty and fresh 🥗. The portion of the quesadilla was on the smaller side, but this isn’t a complaint, it was perfect for lunch. My partner is a meat eater and thoroughly enjoyed his pizza!! Definitely a recommendation for visiting Varna 🌱💘

The restaurant is in the centre and offers lunch menu which is cheaper than the regular one. Most of the dishes are vegan and they offer some gluten-free options like the pizzas. The service is professional and the overall atmosphere is very relaxing.

It's not the best food I've eaten, but there were lots of good choices and it was tasty. Straightforward and popular options.
I had the curry and it could have done with some vegetables in it instead of just vegan meat.

As vegans we were worried about our stay in a country renowned for its meat dishes. There aren’t many vegetarian or vegan restaurants within walking distance of the Greek quarter, and many meat serving restaurants have one or no vegan options, so if Vege Joy hadn’t been any good we’d have had a challenging holiday. Good food makes a good holiday, and we kept returning to Vege Joy. There’s a great variety of vegetarian dishes, many of which can be made vegan, plus some which are vegan to start with. The food was delightful: interesting, tasty, well presented and a good portion size. The vegan cakes were wonderful. They also do an excellent selection of drinks, particularly the kombucha. And the waitress was truly charming. But I do have a complaint about the pates, partly of my own making: the food was so good that I didn’t want to leave any on the plate, even a little bit of sauce. Unfortunately scraping it off with a knife made a little too much noise for a shy Englishman. Maybe I should have licked the plate, but I don’t think my partner would have been too impressed! Thank you Vege Joy - you made a good holiday into an excellent one which will be hard to forget.

Been there with a friend around 6pm on a Friday night and we have been the only guests. Waitress was friendly, fruity tea was yummy and the mushroom pizza was quite good too, just one sort of mushroom was really watery (guess it was frozen) and the taste of that wasn’t great. Other than that it was nice, I liked the two types of vegan cheese. Not so cheap at 12,50 Leva.

Tikka masala and rajma were very tasty. I found tikka masala a bit too fatty for me (cashew butter & coconut milk), but otherwise excellent. Rice was about 1/2 of what I felt was needed.

Read moreI like that there are things such as risotto, as wellas Asian fusion, burgers and pizza. Half of the menu is vegan, and many of the vegetarian options can be asked to be vegan. Buns for the burgers can be gluten free.
Staff is friendly and everytime I feel welcomed.

It's always great to see restaurants with vegan options in Bulgaria. Especially when the options are tasty! Overall I'd say it's a lovely place to eat, however the service was not great at all. We were one of two tables with customers on them at the time and the waitress still paid little to no attention to us.

You can veganize almost all vegetarian dishes. The Pad Thai is absolutely amazing, as well as their pizzas. The staff is very kind and the service is fairly quick.

The food was delicious. There's a great selection and the staff are lovely. There is plenty of seating room and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. I definitely recommend everyone try this place.

We had a dinner in Vege Joy with my non vegan friends and we all enjoyed the food very much! Even though the restaurant is vegetarian, they have almost every meal in vegan version. What really surprised me was the American style Pizza. It was very delicious and filling and I have never seen pizza flavour like this. I also got Pad Thai which was good but I missed some peanut sauce in it. My boyfriend got cheeseburger and he liked it. The other friend got celery stake with mashed potatoes and he said it wasn’t seasoned well. We also enjoyed kombucha and various kind of beers with our meals.

I went to Vege Joy with my omni friend and we loved it! The food was amazing (we both ordered pizza) and the ambiente is nice. They have a wide selection of vegan/vegetarian food on the menu. Also the staff was very friendly and spoke good English. I definitely recommend this place!

I have to admit this is one of the best restaurants I’ve been so far. Also agree wit the comments below that the place has a wonderful atmosphere and food is served on a top level - you have the feeling you are at a high end restaurant. Initially we wanted to try it just once for dinner, but ended up going three days in a row for lunch and dinner. Tried their different dishes - from Blueberry cheesecake, Jackfruit ragout with Royal champignons, risotto with boletus mushrooms to different types of pizzas and sandwiches - all yummy as hell! It is a must if you are in Varna! You won’t regret it!
