I'd expected to have to miss out on tasting traditional Czech dishes on my visit to Prague but this place serves delicious veganised traditional fare as well as a whole load of other inventive and tasty dishes. Great atmosphere, friendly folk and I enjoyed the playlist too!

I'll start this off by saying, the service here is great. Everyone was very kind, and made sure that we had all the necessary information. The restaurant was in an amazing location with great views and a nice rooftop patio. All of those notable pros bring my rating up to a 3/5.
Read moreNow the food... It just wasn't good. The flavors were strange and unbalanced - they really just didn't hit the mark. This was probably the first restaurant I have been where I had a hard time finishing the food.
If you are looking for authentic Czech food I would consider other places before here. If you just want something to eat, and good vibes this might be a good choice.. I just wouldn't order the Czech food.

Wir sind spontan hier eingekehrt und haben zum Glück noch einen Tisch auf der Dachterrasse ergatterten können. Loved that I can try the vegan versions of local dishes. The food was fresh, delicious and tasted like it was homemade. I had the vegan Svíčková and the soup of the day (a simple vegetable soup). The table next to me loved the lasagna and the coconut curry. The Czech dumplings for dessert were really good too!

We liked it so much that we went back a second time. I will say that we regretted two of our choices on the second visit--the goulash and the "sirloin"--they were decent but not as appealing as everything else we tried. The baked sweet potato with guacamole was really good. We also had the Snickers raw cheesecake--phenomenal.

For Prague, this seems to be a very good vegan option. Decent food, fast service. Sone really good views over the city. Offers a mix of classics vegan dishes (eg burgers) and a vegan take on Czech classics. The goulash was very good. The alcoholic drinks menu was okay but perhaps it could be expanded with a little more choice and variety.

I had fun following the candles through the building to the upper floors where the restaurant is a bit hidden. I was curious to try their veganised version of goulash with dumplings and was not disappointed. I also liked that they put salt and pepper directly on each table and found their staff really friendly.

We had the goulash and the svickova and they were both delicious.
For dessert, we would recommend the dumplings. They are warm and not overly sweet.
