Non-vegetarian traveling with vegetarian -loved it.

I'm a non-vegetarian food lover traveling with my vegetarian niece. We spotted this place walking up to the Prague castle and resolved to visit for lunch on the way back. Up two flights of steps to simple friendly decor. We both ordered vegan versions of regional specialties. I had the stuffed cabbage and loved it. The sauce and cabbage had rich flavor and portion was satisfying (I even gave away one of my three rolls to my niece and was still comfortably satisfied). We were enjoying ourselves so stayed for Cappuccino and split an apple cake. Spicy, flavorful and moist! Great food in a restaurant where my niece could safely order anything that tweaked her fancy and this I-love-all-food meat-eater got a great meal.

Pros: fun & friendly, vegan versions of traditional czech food

Cons: no handicap access (2 flights of stairs to reach)

Amazing food and location

This was one of the best vegan restaurants, that we have been to. A very creative menu (carpaccio interpretation made out of red beetroot for example) combined with a great scenery from the roof terrace. Keep it up!

Nice place in beautiful area

I had the best bruchetta ever here!!! Also you can get vegan versions of local food wich is always exiting. The dish we tried was good, but very heavy. If you get the chance sit outside on the small terrasse - There is a viewi of the Castle. Very friendly staff. Lots of stairs though.

Pros: Reasonable price

Cons: Lots of stairs - the view and food is worth it tho

Best Vegan in the WORLD

I've eaten at vegan/vegetarian restaurants all over the world and this one was the best I've ever had! The food, the view from the little balcony, the sweet staff, everything was perfection! I was in Prague for 6 nights and ate at Vegan's Prague for dinner 6 nights in a row! My favorite dish was the beetroot carpaccio salad...and the soups! But it's hard to choose because every dish was better than the next! Highly highly highly recommend this restaurant!

delicious! 

Saw the little balcony of this great place from the castle & then happened to pass the front door. Got there in time as no reservation & even managed a seat out in the balcony! The zucchini lasagne was absolutely amazing! Just perfect! So nice to be able to have a vegan dessert too , chocolate avocado cake - this was rich but tasty, contained cherries which I'm not a fan of in cakes, but I still ate the whole lot! Fantastic! 

Got a gluten feee burger in this amazing old building. Also had a great salad and dessert. The music and ambiance is great and there's a place to sit outside upstairs.

Pros: great health focused options, music and ambiance, gluten free is easy here

wonderful

Awesome food, very friendly staff and if you are lucky enough to get a table on the terrace (best with reservation) with an amazing view of the Prague castle :) we had a traditional Czech dish with cabbage and the Indonesian fried rice and can fully recommend both!

My Favourite in Prague

Tolles Essen, tolles Gebäude, schöne Terrasse mit Blick aufs Schloss, große Auswahl, alles einfach nur toll. Entsprechend lohnt eine Reservierung.

Awesome view, awesome food

This place is just right in front of the Prague Castle, and has a view to the city and the castle from their little terrace. Beautiful!

Food was delicious, we took mostly Czech food to try, they veganized famous Czech dishes and it tasted awesome. Starters were even more amazing, we had the soup of the day (cauliflower) and avocado tartare. All that with an organic beer & ice tea for my lady. Amazing time!

Staff was also super kind! Price very reasonable too. Highly recommended!

Pros: View on the Prague Castle, Delicious Czech vegan food, Super kind staff

Cons: I'd like to go there everyday but I don't live in

worth all the stairs!

Went several times during our visit because we wanted to try more things! Food was spectacular and staff was very attentive and friendly. The beer is officially my wife's favorite of all time. Prices completely reasonable- not expensive.
We recommend the GF burger- it's not what you expect- more like a tower of delicious layers and the cabbage rolls were our favorite too

Cons: many stairs to climb

Nice little place

I've been here yesterday with my girlfriend during a weekend trip to Prague. The waitress were really nice and gave us a small table on the cozy roof terrace with a great view upon the castle.
The traditional Czech dishes were really good. The servings weren't too small and the prices were appropriate.
We would recommend this place if you are in Prague.

Pros: Tasty, traditional food, Nice waitresses, Nice View from the terrace

Cons: Small terrace

Cool spot

The Goulash was amazing and nicely portioned. Menu had a nice variety of traditional Czech inspired dishes as well as burgers and salad style meals. Great spot located on the way to the castle and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Awesome place for after your visit of the Prague Castle!

This place is awesome! It has a little take away section downstairs and a proper restaurant upstairs. You can sit in the loft (very pretty) or even outside on the tiny terrasse with a view of the castle! Great home made lemonade, amazing traditional Czech food (veganized) and awesome raw and baked cakes! I had the dumplings with root vegetable sauce and tempeh and it was great! Plus the baked chocolate cheese cake (10/10) raw chocolate cake (too much date), raw Mango cheese cake (not my thing) and honey cake (so good - almost velvety!). Don't miss this place!

Seem good but was not too good

I took gluten free hamburger which was a vegetable steak and potatoes. It was ok, little bit too oily. Also I took dumpkins and they were awfull. Service was poor thought waitress smiled a lot.. Outdoor terrance was not open!

Cons: Expensive!!

Average food

Great location, excellent staff. The food was a bit hit and miss though. The bohemian feast was tasteless and not very filling. The biggest issue was it was really expensive for Prague. We had much better meals for half the price.

Pros: Great location near the castle, Friendly wait staff, Some good food

Cons: Hit and miss dishes, Really expensive for Prague

Worth a visit

Go for tempeh svíčková if you want to get the taste of traditional Czech food without the typical load of meat and cheese. It's absolutely delicious!
I've also tried the bean burger which was tasty enough but rather small. You'll find better burgers in many other places for a smaller price. The service was attentive and friendly, and I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. Excellent location, especially for tourists, but definitely not the cheapest veggie restaurant in town (Happy Cow gives it one dollar sign which I don't find very accurate).

Pros: delicious vegan variations of Czech dishes, friendly service

Cons: a lot of stairs

Magnificent food in splendid atmosphere

After sampling vegan restaurants in Prague for the better part of a week I'll have to say this is my favourite. Traditional Czech food vegan-style is a very good selling point. Add to that the deliciousness of every dish and dessert I tried, as well as the spectacular locales with a view across the rooftops. Do try their specials.

Pros: Traditional Czech food, vegan-style, Reasonable prices, Spectacular locales

Cons: Not wheelchair-accessible

I recommend it!

I recommend this restaurant, it's really well located and it has a small teerrace with a view of the castle. The food is tasty and good. We liked it so much that we went there twice during our days in Prague. They have Czech specialities but also dishes from around the world. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Pros: Tasty food, Good location, Friendly staff

Cons: Better to book a table

Great intro to Prague

We had a great meal here and luckily we were able to get a table without a reservation. Staff was very friendly and taught us a few Czech words as it was our first stop when we got into town. The feast, goulash, and blueberry dumplings were our most memorable meal in Prague! I believe there is a street bistro for smoothies and snacks (if you are looking to stop when visiting the castle) and then full restaurant upstairs which is where we had dinner.
