Best food spot in Berlin - Edit
Living in Berlin I can say that this is the best food spot I have ever been to. M and my friends hat the fateh, the mixed grill plate and some dish with cauliflower. Delicious! Thanks Mezo! And you also have to try the Desert with almond milk!

We visited this amazing vegan restaurant after reading glowing reviews, and it did not disappoint! The Middle Eastern food is clearly cooked from the heart, and dining here felt like being welcomed into someone’s home—generous portions of delicious, home-cooked food made with care.
Read moreThe menu had something for everyone. Our daughter, who can be a picky eater, loved her pasta, while our son enjoyed a fantastic pizza. My husband and I opted for a mezze, which was bursting with flavour. The homemade lemonade with mint was the perfect refreshing touch.
This restaurant has been the highlight of our vegan food tour of Berlin. It may be unassuming, but the food is outstanding, and the hospitality is just as warm. Highly recommended!

Little cozy restaurant owned by the friendliest man. Lot of choices which are all vegan. Some typical eastern meal are revisited with soy protein or seitan. The owner advised us very well about what to order and it was phenomenal. Even my non vegan wife was astonished. The owner offered us twice a refill of potatoes and hummus until we couldn’t eat more, and then offered us a dessert for free. We really felt like we were having dinner with family.

The owner is a very caring and kind individual and it shows in his dishes. All of the food was really great. I felt bad leaving because besides the food it was very enjoyable to Converse with the chef because he is such a caring and attentive person.

Some of the best food we have had on our trip - Edit
In all of our travels, I think this is the first time I actually felt full after eating at a vegan establishment. The portion sizes were generous, and absolutely great tasting! The hummus is some of the best I have ever had. Veggies and soy meats were flavorful and plentiful. We would be coming here weekly if we lived in Berlin. Definitely check this place out for a great meal!

Wir hatten aerade sehr schöne 1,5 Stunden im Vegano Mezo. Als Plätze draußen frei wurden hat uns der Gastgeber von sich aus umgesetzt. Toller Service mit Milchreis/Pamacotta und Tee aufs Haus.

Wir hatten den Grillmixteller für zwei Personen. Der Grillteller war sehr lecker, hatte ein tolles Aroma und war zudem noch richtig schön saftig. Als Beilage gab es ebenfalls sehr lecker Kartoffeln mit Hummus, Brot und einen kleinen Salat.

Ich habe selten einen so herzlichen Menschen getroffen, der sich so um das Wohl seiner Gäste kümmert.
Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens Empfehlen! 😊

I had the mixed grillteller. I was a large amount of food! It was tasty and filling, but I "recognised" the soy curls you buy from the store and I find them not suitable for shawarma (personal opinion). The meal was served with hummus, yoghurt and vegetables. The owner is SO nice.

"Berlin's best-rated restaurant" was what they said. What can I say? And rightly so! The hummus is the best I've ever eaten and the mixed grill plate for 2 people was plentiful. When the pan was empty, we were asked if we were still hungry and it was refilled free of charge. All of the grilled food tasted incredibly good. Perfectly marinated, great consistency. A feast for the palate.
Read moreThe owner, who served us himself, was extremely polite. Only non-alcoholic drinks are offered, but if you want something alcoholic, he is happy to refer you to the Späti very close by and has no problem if you drink drinks from there at his place.
The only thing I'm not so convinced about is the interior design, but that's not really the point with a snack bar like this. I will definitely eat there again and not just once. Pure enthusiasm and the best recommendation to go and feast there.

Das ist ab sofort mein Lieblingsrestaurant. Der Besitzer ist so so freundlich und warmherzig. Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker. Gut gewürzt, riesige Portionen und mit viel Liebe gekocht. Wer es nicht ausprobiert, verpasst etwas. Ich kann das vegane Shawarma auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Zwar sind die Portionen sehr groß, dennoch würde ich empfehlen eine Vorspeise zu bestellen, denn die Vorspeisen sind der Hammer! Auch der Milchreis war super lecker. Den gab es aufs Haus, mega freundlich😄

We only ordered two dishes and had much more food than expected, had to take it home! The seasoning was really good and the dishes were very tasty and fresh. The owner was also very friendly and cared a lot for us. We went there with a baby and he turned off the radio for us and asked a couple of times if everything was good. Highly recommended!
