Ok for its niche - Edit
Fully vegan restaurants with Arabic food are few and far in between - so getting a fully vegan 'grill platter' was a very appreciated change. And for that, it was pretty good. However, the food was not exceptional (except for the skewers) and since the place itself is not very inviting, I will probably not return.

Nice vegan meat, but expensive and a bit uncharitable - Edit
We had the grill mix plate for 2 people. The home made vegan meat sticks were amazing, the rest of the vegan meat (mostly saitan it seemed) was good too. However, our plate did not include any salad, as the pictures suggested. No lettuce, no tomatoes, no pickles etc. and the plate cost more than 30€. Like that, the plate was seemed a bit uncharitable and heavy on the fake meat side (even for a grill mix plate).

We were excited to try a fully vegan Syrian restaurant and the first dishes (Ful and Fatteh) were amazing.
Read moreUnfortunately, it was relatively cold, especially inside the restroom. The main problem was the food to price ratio.
The main dish cost 17.5€ and the amount of food wasn't satisfactory for one person.
The main dish was mediocre, but some pastes were fine.
We also waited more than 30 minutes in an almost empty restaurant.
I would have given 2.5 stars if it was possible.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend.

Wir hatten den Grillteller für 2 und wir waren absolut begeistert.

Spieße, Köfte, Schnitzel und Kebab. Einfach alles hat geschmeckt.
Dazu gab es ein paar Bratkartoffeln mit sehr leckerer Marinade, mit leichter Zitronennote.
Und Fladenbrote mit Baba Ganoush und Hummus.
Sehr zu empfehlen.

Es el mejor mix de carnes veganas que he probado en mi vida. Una verdadera experiencia de sabores en la boca bailando sobre tu lengua. Merece muchísimo la pena el plato de mix de carnes de una persona para compartir.

Der Grillteller für 2 war klasse. Hummus, Grillspieße, Bratkartoffeln etc. Die Konsistenz der Grillsachen war genau so wie es sein sollte. Sehr empfehlenswert.

The flavours of the Middle East - Edit
We shared the vegan kebab and the mixed appetizers and it was so flavourful and delicious. The portions were good and we enjoyed sitting outside on a warm Berlin evening. Service is awesome and we definitely can recommend this place!

The place has a fast food vibe to it. The mock meat and some of the spreads were alright. Hummus was very bland and pita seemed to be store-bought. The portion size:price ratio was pretty disappointing. It was quite pricey and the portions weren’t that big.

I had high hopes because I love falafel and hummus and we were really hungry but the food turned out to be bland fast food. The falafel was crunchy on the outside but tasteless inside. Hummus was also weird. I wouldn’t recommend the place.

Definitely worth coming here and trying the cuisine. Judging by the website, the founders are ethical vegans - come and support them. Every time I spoke to the staff, they greeted me with a warm smile.

Das "Fleisch" ist saftig und knusprig. Die Konsistenz ist 1000 mal besser als viele andere Ersatzprodukte. Geschmacklich auch der Hammer, sehr gut abgestimnte Gewürze. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ich fange mal mit dem Positiven an. Wir haben uns zu dritt den Grillteller-Mix geteilt und es war wirklich für jeden was dabei. Wirklich leckere und gut gewürzte „Fleisch“-Alternativen. Gibt zwar keine all zu große Auswahl, aber es hat gereicht. Und das Brot was es dazu gab, war wirklich nicht von dieser Erde. 🫶
Read moreJedoch arbeiten dort gefühlt nur 2 Personen und selbst wenn man reserviert muss erstmal Stühlerücken gespielt werden. 😅 Wirklich viel wert auf Hygiene wird dort auch nicht gelegt, die Tischdecken waren schon deutlich mitgenommen.
Bei allem Stress den die Jungs da haben, sind sie doch immer freundlich. ☺️
