Easily our favourite place we ate at in Krakow! The atmosphere, food and staff were all amazing. We ate here twice and would have ate here more had we found it earlier in our stay.

Tasty and fancy - Edit
The menu is mostly vegan. I was really pleased to see that they served traditional polish soup and dumplings! The lady working there was really sweet. 10/10 would recommend.

amazing menu and super tasty! - Edit
Me and my boyfriend are vegan and were told that even though this is primarily a vegetarian restaurant there were some vegan options and yes there were plenty!!
Read moreFood was super tasty and the vegan menu was full of different types of dishes. Would definitely recommend for a nice sit down meal.
One side note however, the portions and prices of the dishes did not match the ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant.. for the posh food we would of expected a rather romantic and intimate setting.
But overall amazing!!

Very friendly and helpfull staff, a lot of vegan options and every vegan dish is clearly marked as vegan. The waitress offered friendly help and recommended tasty beers and food.

Awesome food and service! - Edit
Since arriving in Krakow we have eaten here twice now in the space of three days. The food is stunning and beautifully presented. Imaginative flavours come together well with there being more vegan options than vegetarian. The service adds to the excuisite menu with the staff being very friendly and helpful. At a very reasonable price, there’s little I can fault with this restaurant aside from portion sizes being marginally small. However, with all food very reasonably priced, there’s room for three courses without excelling yourself and breaking the bank. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic Vegan Fare - Edit
This is a wonderful restaurant—large and interesting and the food is delicious. I had a tofu steak that was perhaps the best tofu I have ever had and I have been vegan for 27 years. My spouse had the dumplings and sour rice soup and both were extraordinary. The polenta fries were scrumptious. We actually do not eat a lot of polenta (even though we like it) but after tasting polenta fries, it is a dish we will try to recreate at home. We will definitely go back. Highly recommended.

A very pleasant surprise; an absolute must! - Edit
This place is great! It is entirely vegetarian and has vegan options clearly marked on the menu. We had two starters and two mains and everything was great. The vibe in this place is very relaxed (try to get a seat in the garden, if the weather allows it); some couples and some with children; the interior is large and spacious; very clean; really great service, too. I think their menu is very original and has something for everyone. An absolute must!

Fantastic selection of vegan dishes! - Edit
One of the finer vegan places in Krakow- and it's massive. Very good atmosphere- not quite 'fine dining' but close enough that you could take a date here. Very nice menus, super services, loads of seating areas, some private, some open, and the food is truly fantastic. One of my favorites was a big surprise: a vegan version of "Ruskie pierogi" (probably one of the most famous Polish foods- normally made with potatoes and cottage cheese... these guys deliver a very authentic- and delicious, vegan version). Everything was a plus here. You won't go wrong with this place, even though it's a 10-15 min walk from the central "rynek" area. We've checked out nearly every vegan place in town on our trip so far- and this is a total standout.

stay away - Edit
I'm not sure why this place has such a high rating other than for the fact that it's a hip vegetarian / vegan restaurant. we've been twice and were both times very disappointing with the service. it's very unorganized, dirty and some of the staff seem to have no idea what they are doing. the food is OK but pricey.

With potential, not vegan - Edit
This place is a little confusing. As mentioned in other reviews, not vegan though called Veganic. It is a combination of a canteen-type eatery with a restaurant. There are waitresses (evidently still learning) who know little about what's on the menu (like what the vegan 'cream' is made of), but they are extremely polite.
Read moreI had tofu dumplings, a vegan take on the local specialty 'pierogi ruskie' (normally with cottage cheese). They were delicious! I did wait a bit long for the service, even though the place wasn't too crowded. There is an outside seating, too, perfect for the summer. It is all a bit pricey though, for the street eatery, or too casual, for a regular restaurant.
Pros: tasty, outside seating
Cons: expensive, not vegan, slow service

REALLY RECOMMEND - Edit
I'm not sure why the other reviews aren't so positive cause we really like this place. It's a shame the place isn't 100% vegan but there are so many vegan dishes. We had the tofu dumplings and the pesto spaghetti both delicious. We had the polenta fries and the chickpea pate starters too which were nice. The staff were so friendly and helpful and it's definitely not as expensive as people are suggesting. Same prices we have been paying everywhere in Krakow. Really recommend. The toilets are gender neutral if that interests anyone. FYI there are 2 entrances.

poor service, expensive, not enough to eat - Edit
It is definitely a place that looks like a gastronomic restaurant but for vegetarians. That's also probably why it is very expensive.
Read moreIn the first 20 minutes, nobody really cared about us. After that, the waitress asked us to change tables as this part of the restaurant was booked (which was not a big deal).
I took a vegan meal but when I got it, I was surprised there wasn't much in the plate. It was full of style but I was still hungry after finishing it. And I was a bit shocked that it cost twice as much as the tart my friend took and that was about the same amount of food. In the plate. The food was food, though.
Pros: Nice atmosphere
Cons: expensive

They do experiment a little - Edit
Veganic must be the largest vegetarian restaurant I have been to. In any case, the food was fine, if somewhat too experimental for my taste. Billed as "new plant cooking", it was worth a visit. The main I had was Pierogi ruskie, a ravioli-type filled pasta pocket that came with a few leaves of salad and on what they called I believe a vegan sour cream. The pierogi themselves were great, but the "sour cream" appeared to be simply white tofu creamed in a blender. It added nothing, even dragged the whole dish down.
Read moreSimilar with the dessert. I had a "pudding" made of parsley root with with I cherry jam. The pudding had the appearance of mash potato and tasted like parsley root tastes - starchy, a bit like celery. Let`s just say it was innovative in a bad way. Still worth trying, but I was not convinced.
Pros: They make an effort at innovation, it does not always work
Cons: If called "veganic", one would expect all vegan.

Amazing new restaurant - Edit
Veganic is a relatively new restaurant, having only opened this summer. I went there with my non-veg*an parents and they loved it! Since it was a sunny day we decided to sit outside in their summer garden and enjoy the great atmosphere. The food was simply delicious; this restaurants offers both veg*an, updated versions of traditional Polish cuisine (such as cabbage rolls) and more exotic dishes (like salads with soba or paneer). Out of the food we ordered our favourites were definitely gazpacho soup (with a lot of fresh veggies - probably the best gazpacho I ever had!), pear cream soup (possibly seasonal) and golabki (cabbage rolls) with chickpeas, which are an amazing 'remastered' version of the original Polish cabbage rolls. Veganic also offers a variety of breakfasts, fresh smoothies, vegan desserts and alcoholic drinks. The staff was very nice too. Since this is an actual restaurant the prices here are a tad higher than at other veg*an spots in Cracow, but I think the dishes are definitely worth it. The amount of dishes they offer makes it difficult to decide what to order, so I'll definitely be coming back to try out more of their food!

Blow me away - Edit
This is a top operation. A vegetarian restaurant with plush premises and a great bar serving great cocktails and mocktails. There is also a fabulous outside seating area. I am genuinely impressed how great this area of Krakow is. My feeling is that Veganic is here for the long term. It was bustling and ready to become established. You could tell the staff were still learning the ropes but they were friendly and eager to please. Whilst we only had drinks here after eating at the close by Pod Norenami, we were most impressed with the vastness and vibrant atmosphere. I would absolutely consider coming here for a meal next time in Krakow. Make that a date

High class vegan food. - Edit
I don't know why this place doesn't have reviews ! The atmosphere is phenomenal, and you can taste how much care is put into the unique food.
