Go elsewhere - Edit
Overpriced and would not recommend. The food tastes good but the plate isn’t comprised properly. It’s like your getting some sauce that would be great but you’re missing protein and carbs so at the end of it all you’re left feeling hungry. Hate to rate a fully vegan place so lowly, there’s lots of potential but the food needs to be worth what you’re paying.

Delicious! - Edit
This place knows how to make a tasteful and original menu! We had the choice between 4 starters, 4 main courses and 2 desserts, all of them unique and very flavorful. We had a special crispy salad, yuka, lion's mane, the most creamy delicious bean soup, and a dessert with sweet potato with coffee. 😋 All of that for just over 60 euros for the 2 of us. Recommended for vegans and non-vegan foodies alike!

Very tasty and creative dishes - Edit
Very tasteful and imaginative food. We had a wonderful time at Vegani. The food was healthy and very rich in flavour. Really enjoyed the experience!
Read moreFriendly staff who all speak English. It was a Saturday evening and it was really crowded but luckily we read the reviews and knew we had to make a reservation.
The dishes were served one after another, but with the perfect time in between, which really helped to experience the flavour of each dish.
The dessert came a bit late, which they notified us of in advance. So overall a very positive experience!
Recommended from the menu Feb '24: beans (best dish!) , Lion's Mane mushroom, yukka

Expensive and disappointing - Edit
The croquettes are tasty, but we didn't think the rest was really special. We had to wait a very long time and the waitress complained that it was very busy. We skipped the dessert as we had to wait that long. When we finally got the bill we thought it was very expensive. The restaurant is decorated without love; too bright, colourless and you feel exposed. We are of course happy with every 100% vegan business, but price/quality isn't in balance here.

Promising but disappointing - Edit
I can't understand the hype and the many good reviews at all. I haven't tried everything, of course, but after my first (and last) visit I unfortunately don't have a good opinion of this place: Mini portions of the main courses bean soup - I'm not sure if this was really meant to be soup - and veatballs, half a portion each, that was for the hollow tooth, even if it had been the whole portion, bland, boring flavour, standard sauces like out of a bag. Even three croquettes as a starter couldn't change the fact that I left the place hungry and disappointed. The bread on offer didn't arrive; the wine was slightly soured. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I'm sorry that I cannot recommend this place. Only one star from me, the other is from HappyCow

A proper vegan restaurant - Edit
Veganí changed from being a cheap vegan take away tona fully blown proper vegan restaurant, one of the two open for dinner in town (the other being Vegan Rock).
Read moreThe menu is a bit of a hit ad miss, with some great dishes (cus cus paella!) and others which are nothing special (croquetas, ensaladilla). Prices are on the moderate side.
The staff is really friendly and attentive. Sometimes it takes a while for the food to arrive, once ordered.

💚🌱 #Veganuary

Tapas for Thanksgiving - Edit
Happy Thanksgiving from Spain! My wife is working all day at a music festival, so I’m having fun exploring Seville on my own. Five minutes away from our hotel is Vegani, an incredibly delicious restaurant serving vegan tapas! The highest rated vegan food in the city! I got a latte’, leek and mushroom croquettes, and Veatballs in a light mushroom gravy. Soooo delicious!

Delicious but very small servings - Edit
Food is tasty but the servings are really small and the staff is really stressed end rushes around.. don’t order the herb salad.. it’s iceberg lettuce and some leaves of arugula and chives and dill with oil vinaigrette and a pinch of salt.. so not worth the money! [censored] the croquettes and the mashed potato broccoli thing were delicious

Best in Seville - Edit
Definitely the best vegan food in Seville. The simplicity of fresh local seasonal produce with delicious balance of flavours work so well and is so welcomed on a hot day. The chefs certainly know what they’re doing, they understand the 5 main elements that go into cooking and orchestrate it so well.

Food and customer service was awful - Edit
Honestly cannot think of a worse vegan food or customer service experience I’ve ever had. We were so excited when we saw the reviews as well. But the food was sweaty and sloppy with no texture or flavour. Food was brought out one dish at a time. So we spent hours waiting for one disgusting dish to be taken away after another. Waitress with dreadlocks and shaved sides ignored us and was rude when serving us. No manners, or response to our thank you’s, and questions. Even when speaking in Spanish.
Read moreThe venue is white and sterile, it looks like the inside of a hospital. Bright lights on white surfaces doesn’t make you feel comfortable at all. I’d suggest taking a leaf out of the local area of Seville and adding some colour, art, and plants.
However to be honest, and I’ve rarely if not ever said this about anywhere fully vegan. But I would not come back anywhere near this place, or recommend anyone make the effort to go. As they won’t be making any effort with you. I’d 0 star this place if Happy cow would let me. Seems 2 star is the lowest they can be rated.
Pros: Nothing, Food was sloppy and tasteless , Staff were rude and ill mannered
Cons: Environment was bright white and uncomfortable, Cheap tables and chairs, no decor, Food was hands down the worst vegan food

We went 14th September. Had the broccoli and potato salad (which was lathered with 3inches of what seemed like vegan crème freche), an underwhelming tomato salad, and a Spanish tortilla with some weird whisky gravy on top (which was the worst of all), and then didn’t have the cannelloni as we asked not to have it because it took over and hour and a half to bring. Although they still made us pay after complaining.

Sevilla really needed a place like this - Edit
They changed the location and the entire concept of the food they serve with this new Veganí restaurant. And what a change. This used to be more of a very casual, take away, fast food-ish little place, and now it's the closest to a vegan fine dining experience in the city (hence why I'm rewriting my review!).
Read moreI tried the yuca, the stroganoff leak dish, and the fig and foie cannelloni, as well as their fig and spearmint dessert. My goodness, it was all delicious. The combinations of flavours, the presentation, the attention to detail... They know how to work with produce and simple ingredients to elevate them wonderfully. The sourdough bread was fresh and delicious too.
I've heard some people say the menu is small, but it really doesn't need to be bigger imo. This is a quality over quantity angle for sure.
Service was a bit slow, but to be fair it was kind of busy when we visited. Staff was very friendly though.
The only downside is that this is undoubtedly pricey (at least for Sevilla's standards). I went to eat with a friend and it came out at about ~22€ per person. This isn't too much but bear in mind we didn't order wine/beer, we also shared a dessert, and we don't eat big portions usually. The price will be higher if you have an appetite (serving sizes are a bit small) or if you want to order wine, etc. I'd say on average you'll spend between 20-30€. Which, mind you, it's fine by me because it is what I expect from this kind of place (fine dining food, all organic, seasonal, and local ingredients, and there's really a lot of love and effort put into the dishes, which you can tell). So I find it acceptable for what it is, but be aware that if you are on a budget, this is not the place to go.
To sum it up: If you are willing to spend a bit more money for your meal and are looking for a less casual/more quality and fine dinning experience, this is the place to go.
Pros: Fantastic food, Finally a "fine dinning"ish vegan place in Sevila!, Staff was very friendly and accommodating
Cons: Pricey (in accordance to the kind of place imo), Service was slow when we came

I love it when I can give a restaurant 5 stars - Edit
It seems like I haven’t given a restaurant 5 stars in a while, and I almost forgot how good the feeling is.
Read moreThe description for Vegani on happy cow is outdated, from what I’ve gathered it used to be more of a vegan fast food type place. It has definitely changed!
While it is true that the portion sizes were not up to the standard of the rest of the Mediterranean, this did not matter. Vegani has more of a fine dining quality of food than any place I’ve been to in Spain with similar pricing. The causal vibes and reasonable prices did not prepare me for the food that was to come.
Each dish was flawless, in particular my favourite was this leek stroganoff with figs. Its so nice tasting flavours and combinations that you feel like you’ve never tasted before, ESPECIALLY when they work so freaking well together.
On the other hand the sandwich with seitan and tomato had the most basic of flavours, but still blew my socks off.
The staff were lovely, the vibes immaculate and the food was 5 out of 5. We are only in Seville for 4 days and are very tempted to go back here, which is usually something sacrilegious for us while we are travelling.
A great all round dining experience means it’s GOTTA be 5 stars from niki_nine.
Pros: Immaculate food, Immaculate vibes, Nice staff

Algo pretencioso. Rico pero precio elevado. - Edit

Amazing new restaurant - Edit
Vegani changed its location and its style. Some people may miss their fastfood takeout service, but no me. I think Seville needed a place like this, a fancy restaurant to celebrate special ocasions and have some food with your loved ones.

Yes, being one of few vegan places in Seville makes this place even better but even so the food was really good, and there was just one lady running the place, with people sat in (there's space for about 5 people max) Plus others waiting for takeaway/just eat orders - she did an impressive job!
