Great vegan comfort food - Edit
This is a great remedy to the more bougie, fancy vegan places that are popping up everywhere - it's unpretentious with a welcoming cafe-style vibe. Menu is big, ranging from burger n' fries style comfort food to salads and the usual cafe products. The shop is well stocked with a wide-range of vegan foods and products. Any veggie Brits looking for a taste of home should head to the Linda McCartney chiller cabinet! The staff are super-friendly and the general ambience is unpretentious and chill. Highly recommended.

Best Francesinha I've ever had - Edit
This was the highlight of my trip across all of Portugal. This restaurant, and the lovely staff who work here. I came back here a few times simply to try more of the items on the menu, but the Francesinha will stick with me forever. It is one of the best things I've ever eaten.
Read moreThe menu that I was provided was multiple pages long. I wish I had the time to try it all, I'm sure it's all delicious. This restaurant also houses some grocery items. Cereals, Vegan Cheese, Vegan meats, etc. I bought a few so I can make some sandwiches when I'm in a rush.
Thank you to the wonderful, friendly staff who made this place the highlight of my trip!
Pros: Best staff ever, Delicious food, Grocery Store

yummy pastel de nata - Edit
Had the pastel de nata and it was very yummy, although not crispy anymore (I guess they sat in the display for a while). Also I don't have a comparison to other ones, since it was my first time trying them.

made with care - Edit
I visited here twice for lunch during my stay in Porto and found all the dishes were tasty and healthy and made with care from good ingredients. It was a really pleasant place to sit. The service in English and Portuguese was excellent. Coffee was very good, especially with vegan pastel de nata on the side.

Try the vegan Francesinha here - Edit
Lovely little all-vegan shop. You can have lunch or purchase groceries. Most of the options were a little on the heavier side (lots of vegan cheese and gravy dishes). But I enjoyed the delicious salad for only 4 euros and some sweet potato fries. My son tried the vegan francesinha at Kind Kitchen but preferred the one here. There’s a very hard working woman here who is extremely kind and helpful. We came twice and enjoyed the food and atmosphere both times.

Casual vegan - Edit
We had lunch at Vegana, a cafe that also sells an assortment of food and other items, like charcoal dental floss.
Read moreThe menu included a number of hamburger/hotdog dishes, which we all ordered, along with drinks. Food came quickly and everything I tasted, including my own quinoa burger, was very good and refueled us for the afternoon.
Vegana has cozy, homey vibes, which enhanced the experience. We also bought a few items from the store; food and items all reasonably priced.

Great selection of all vegan dishes, and we were super happy to try the traditional francesinha (my non vegan Portuguese friend was really impressed with how accurate the flavour were). The lady running the place is really kind and genuine!
