Excepcional - Edit

all vegan, great food, little store as well - Edit
all vegan! great food, we had lots of warm snacks, similar to empanadas with different fillings. they also have vegan pasteis de nata 😍 and there is a menu with bigger dishes as well. very nice and friendly people working there. they also have a little store with lots of vegan stuff: from cheese and butter to ravioli, cookies,… and also some cosmetics. it‘s a bit away from the centre but definitely worth the trip! (we paid about 4 € via uber)

Come to Berlin please - Edit
Can we please have a place like this in Berlin?
Read moreThey combine a small vegan supermarket with a bistro that really deserves its name. You’ll find comparably cheap sandwiches and traditional dishes that taste just awesome. A lot of locals go here, so if you wanna make vegan friends, this might be one of the places :-)
Looking forward to my next visit when I’m back in Porto 💚
Pros: Good prices , Tasty selection, Groceries available
Cons: No tables outside, just inside, Interior could be more cozy

Unfortunately not to our taste - Edit
While the place looks really nice, lots of healthy food in the shop, I don't feel too bad giving this a less positive review, as there are many positive reviews to outweigh it! This is just our experience based on the meal we ordered.
Read moreTourists be warned: the Francesinha, while a Portuguese staple, may not be to your taste! I just didn't enjoy it. The sauce is a bit bitter, and there's a lot of processed meat (vegan sausage etc).
The chips (fries) that came with this meal looked like they were from a frozen bag, and were too heavily salted.
I'm sure it takes a lot of effort to prepare etc, but I just didn't like it. Wish I went for a burger or one of their sandwiches instead.
The Francesinha seems to be an acquired taste, and I have not acquired it.
Pros: Nice shop
Cons: Salted fries from frozen, Francesinha acquired taste

My first pastel de nata - Edit
Cute shop with a small selection of vegan grocery products and seating in the front, and a bakery/sandwich counter in the back. Enjoyed my first pastel de nata here and it was very good. Did not have a chance to try anything else, but definitely will on a return visit. Proprietor was very nice.

Great variety of vegan items - Edit
Vegan restaurant/shop selling lots of vegan bits, such as meat substitutes, cheese, treats etc. I didn’t eat in as I had just had lunch but managed to do some shopping in their restaurant and grab one or two pastries to go!

There's also a little store area with vegan alternatives (cheese, ham, cream, spreads, ...), which you can't find in a regular Porto supermarket

Fully vegan, large menu and friendly owner!! - Edit
I’m so glad we managed to stop here for lunch on our holiday. The food was great, they had a large selection of drinks (I had an alcoholic kombucha which was really nice!) and a great little shop attached which would probably fully sort you out if you were on holiday staying somewhere self-catered (cereal, milks, dried foods, fresh, frozen). We picked up some vegan tinned tuna to take home and try. We also picked up some of their custard tarts which were AMAZING, I’m sad we didn’t buy more! It was all good value. The owner is so lovely too!

Good food, worth the wait - Edit
I had cheese and ham toasted sandwich and my partner had the special burger and we shared some fries and nuggets. The ham tasted like very convincing cured ham, if not for all the signs saying “It’s all vegan. Don’t ask.” I’d have suspected I’d been given the wrong thing. My partner’s burger was a moving mountains patty with toppings and in a standard bun, topped with cheese and a beer gravy type thing? I stole more than one bite. It was too tasty not to. The nuggets, while standard, also tasted better somehow? Maybe sorcery. My partner said the coffee ticked all his boxes and I had an apple juice, which was freshly blended and not entirely what I was after, but tasty nonetheless.
Read moreIt was long wait times for everything, but there seemed to be only one person working, so understandable.
We went back for cheese, crackers and wine from their grocery section, very impressed! 6€ for what tastes like an upmarket wine, we’d be paying £20 for it at home.
Pros: Entirely vegan , Good value for money, Delicious
Cons: Long wait times

Great vegan comfort food - Edit
This is a great remedy to the more bougie, fancy vegan places that are popping up everywhere - it's unpretentious with a welcoming cafe-style vibe. Menu is big, ranging from burger n' fries style comfort food to salads and the usual cafe products. The shop is well stocked with a wide-range of vegan foods and products. Any veggie Brits looking for a taste of home should head to the Linda McCartney chiller cabinet! The staff are super-friendly and the general ambience is unpretentious and chill. Highly recommended.

Best Francesinha I've ever had - Edit
This was the highlight of my trip across all of Portugal. This restaurant, and the lovely staff who work here. I came back here a few times simply to try more of the items on the menu, but the Francesinha will stick with me forever. It is one of the best things I've ever eaten.
Read moreThe menu that I was provided was multiple pages long. I wish I had the time to try it all, I'm sure it's all delicious. This restaurant also houses some grocery items. Cereals, Vegan Cheese, Vegan meats, etc. I bought a few so I can make some sandwiches when I'm in a rush.
Thank you to the wonderful, friendly staff who made this place the highlight of my trip!
Pros: Best staff ever, Delicious food, Grocery Store
