Finally had the francesinha. Loved it - Edit
Excellent job and great vegan dishes. The traditional francesinha was delicious. I liked the sauce a lot. Super friendly staff, clearly know what they are doing. Must go place in Porto.

Pastel de nata delicioso - Edit
Since I got to Portugal I kept trying to have a vegan pastel de nata but every time something would go wrong. I was very excited and had huge expectations about their version based on the reviews and I was not disappointed at all! The last time I had a pastel de nata I was still vegeterian and I have to say is even better than I remembered.. The staff were very kind to me and saved me the lest 2 pasteis of the day! Definitely worth the visit if you're in Porto 🥰

Amazing place! - Edit
Vegana by Tentugal is definitely a must try when in Porto.
Read moreThe francesinha is one of the best in Porto! The Pasteis de Nata are my favourites among what I've tried! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to try the vegan version of traditional portuguese dishes. All I've tried is absolutely delicious!
It also has many vegan poducts that are very hard to find in Porto.
The only downside is that it closes early.

Lovely spot for a quick lunch - Edit
Great cafe and shop. The lady that works there is super lovely, very friendly and welcoming! Lots of tasty options, including toasties and a dish of the day (changes daily). They have different pastries by the till and perhaps the best vegan Nata's in Porto (also the cheapest, and yes we have tried a lot of Nata's)!
Read moreThe shop is well stocked with an amazing variety of vegan products, including almost a whole fridge of cheese 🧀
I'd recommend trying the prego (steak in bread)!
THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH, AND PORTUGUESE BANK CARDS

Nice little place, good food selection very nice pastries! - Edit
I found it simple and busy, with a nice well stocked store a good selection of food items, such as francesina, tostas, nachos on a digital menu - I don't like these but it's the world now I guess. Also a counter with empanadas, pies, pastries etc, I tried some pies and a smoked tofu and cheese tosta, it was all good and I enjoyed it, the owner was very busy and running between customers and the kitchen, tho she is coping really well and very friendly and attentive.

Great vegan shop and place to eat - Edit
I went to this place multiple times during our trip in Porto, and each time the staff was friendly and the food amazing. My girlfriend especially wanted to eat pasteis de nata and thought that would not be possible for a vegan, since it is made with eggs. But this place has it! You can eat a really good vegan pasteis de nata here!
Read moreIn addition, it has really great pastries. My favorite was one with cheese, ham and bbq (yes, I am referring to vegan alternatives of ham and cheese).
They also have the menu of the day, which changes everyday. We had that as well and it was healthy and well worth it.
As I have stated, this place its also a shop: you can buy vegan products here such as: vegan feta cheese, plant based “chicken” nuggets, brownies mix, etc.
The prices seemed fair to me.

Okay - Edit
This store offers a small range of vegan products for sale. Overall, the place is okay. The drawback I noticed is that they don't accept debit or credit cards unless you're from Portugal. If you're not Portuguese, you have to pay with cash.

Homecoming - Edit
I had the daily special. It was a delicious warming and hearty dish with cabbage, carrot, pasta, tofu, kidney beans and chorizo. Delicious and only 6euro for a generous serving. I had a lemon tea which was delicious and made from fresh lemons. Friendly chef. Plenty of tables. Relaxed. Some eco items for sale.

Awesome flavors and great value - Edit
Owner speaks English and is very friendly. We arrived at the beginning of the lunch hour and found plenty of seats but it filled up with patrons fast. The reason of course was the food and an incredible 6 euro lunch deal. It included 3 black bean meatballs on a bed of mashed potatoes with gravy. It included a big side salad and small side of mixed grilled vegetables. Unbelievable value. We also had a Francesinha Tentugal. This is a local sandwich dish to Portugal. Also great flavor. Several meats are included with cheese on top. Great smokey flavor with some corn beef hints and a nice savory taste. We had to wait longer because we ordered the sandwhich but if you get the special, it will be plated in minutes. Highly recommend. It’s slightly out of the downtown area but for 5 euro we took a cab from Sao Francisco at the riverside.

If you don't go you're missing out on amazing home cooked Portugal food! We had the seitanas on the plate with the soup of the day and smoked saucisses grilled cheese and it was absolutely delicious! Good portions, very good price, the owner is very nice! We're gonna go back on our last day to leave with the best souvenir! We saw somewhere that is was open on Tuesdays, be aware that it is close on Tuesdays. Cash only unless you have a Portuguese debit card.
