Have been a big fan of Korean and Italian food for ages and this little gem is a little surprise that twist the best of both and also adds a touch on the fact that it is vegan friendly.
Read moreWorth giving it a shout and try out well balanced, colourful, tasty Korean & Italian food.

Disappointing except for the amazing kimchi. Also cash only! - Edit
I was so excited when I walked into this place. The concept is so cool and the man who greeted me was very hospitable. I asked for a kimchi side salad as an appetizer and they allowed me to try all (four!) types of kimchi. I then ordered a main dish and waited for over an hour for my food as I watched everyone around me get theirs (including one woman who ordered the same dish as me, but after me). They were rather passive about it when I pointed out they had forgotten me and did nothing to make up for the fact. The main dish itself (the gnocchi) was actually rather bland.

I‘m so lucky I stumbled upon this cute restaurant. It‘s such a cool idea, the staff was open and friendly and chatty and most importantly, the food was AMAZING. I had the kimchi lasagna and was blown away. And the dark mochi desert is now my favourite. I‘ll be so happy when I can show this place to my sister!

Mochi addiction - Edit
Sweet little cafe and the chef and staff are just gorgeous. The food is really unusual with so much thought and good intention behind it. You feel healthier the moment you step inside! But be warned, you will leave with a Dark Mochi addiction...

Healthy and Flavorful!!! - Edit
SO GOOD!!! If you’re obsessed with kimchi and you like amazing, nutritious and flavorful vegan meals (instead of junky fried and bland British food), please try this place! This place can definitely beat LA Korean kimchi! You MUST try the Lasagna kimchi!!! A . The sausage is not bad too. They have four flavors of kimchi - red (by far the most delicious and spiciest), yellow (second best), and purple (not bad) and green (which we did not try but it is flavored with mint and added spirulina). The mochis are good too! Oh and we met the the chef and owner! Super friendly and hospitable.
Read morePros: All vegan, Very flavorful but can be a bit salty for some. , Kimchi! What else can you ask for!
Cons: The joint is small but cozy. , No AC but there’s a fan. , A little salty but it has fermented dishes.

Their hemp dog is the best vegan hotdog I’ve ever tried (and I’ve tried many...), while the dark mochi is just pure bite-sizes deliciousness 🤤

wonderfully creative food by husband/wife hosts! - Edit
This is Korean/Italian fusion. We loved everything we ate here. And had to take away more dishes to try! Top marks for innovation! The Kimchi lasagne was delicious, the mushroom gnocchi was great. We can’t wait to try the lasagna bolognese with homemade mozzarella. There’s a also a great range of vegan wines. NOT TO BE MISSED!

Great for a quick casual meal - Edit
This is a very small and friendly place on Brick Lane. It might be described as a vegan fast food place. There are some creative dishes mixing Korean and Italian ingredients and the chef is a lovely man who explains the various items on the menu. It's not particularly cheap but the food is good and full of flavour. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Really interesting - Edit
First of all, the owner is the nicest guy. First thing, as soon as I enter, he offers me a piece of what I can honestly say is the best bread I've ever tasted. Then I asked for suggetions, and tried a (sorry for nor remembering the name of the dish) gnocchi and some korean pasta fusion, with a bit of spice, and tomato sauce, and sesame seeds... It was pretty amazing. And he even brought me more bread to scrape the plate. Flavours: amazing italian-korean fusion, MUST TRY.

We visited "Vegan Yes" on our way back to Euston after a long day visiting family. We're so happy we walked 20 minutes out of our way to try some Italian/Korean fusion. We were treated to samples of homemade foccacia and bread/olive oil whilst our takeaway meals were prepped. We also had a Green Moringa latte whilst we waited, a first for both of us and it was absolutely delicious - the perfect pick me up for weary travellers. Onto the food, we had Lasagna, Toppognocchi and Kimchi salad, additional dressed spinach amd foccacia "for mopping up". It was all beautiful and it made our train journey back to Manchester much more enjoyable. Thank you "Vegan Yes" for being so friendly and providing us with much needed nourishment.

Fantastic food and super friendly service - Edit
Small spot in Brick Lane with tasty and creative italokorean dishes, based mainly around kimchi. The kimchi itself is absolutely delicious and very authentic, with the chef's own Italian touch and four different variations in vegetable and spices. The dark chocolate mochi are also great. Super friendly service. Highly recommended!

Loved kimchi bibimbap and Mochi with sesame seeds. Amazing concept with dark chocolate coating. Superb taste. Chef Mauro is amazing person, he explained the meaning of bibimbap and the ingredients of the dish. He made us try matcha made of moringa which was amazing and the vegan cheese (which was not made of cashew!). We packed chocolate mousse and Nutella and another piece of mochi as we were very full. I will definitely go back again. This is my first time trying Korean food as being vegan it is difficult to find such food. Another amazing thing was he has a poster of the Chakras and he has tried to have all the colors in the kimchi or the food. Must visit ! He has two restaurants in London.

If you enjoy kimchi, you will love this little gem! Chef Mauro is as friendly as his food is delicious. It's a wonderful fusion of Italian and Korean cuisine, and well worth a visit! The place is small, and this is not fine dining, but the food, flavors, and service is too-notch.
