We went to Cat Bar back in July 2011 and we still talk about this place 12 years later. The food was amazing, the staff & owner were fantastic, and they had the best selection of vegan beverages I've ever come across. Small and independent places like this are extremely important - hence coming back to re-post my .02! Seriously the last few days of our trip we'd try to decide where to eat for dinner and wound up choosing Cat Bar!

Loved this place so much! I got the ‘fish’ , salad and chips and was so delicious! My Omni partner got the black bean burger, salad and papatas and also loved it! Went back a second time but didn’t realise they were closed on sundays 😢

Dinner menu is burgers and "tofish and chips”. The drink is included in the menu (including a wide variety of craft beers). The "tofish" (fish and chips style tofu) was good. Despite the name, there are no kittens in the restaurant.

Vegan Cat Bar has relatively simple food: burgers and sides. It is nothing terribly special, but the presentation and the actual flavors are incredible. It is nice to find a place that seems to make its own burgers versus using Beyond burgers. The environment is very chill and the staff is very friendly.

I head the Champion which comes topped with baked mushrooms and miso mayonnaise (I mean miso mayonnaise!) and my husband had the Cactus burger with actual nopal cactus and he was impressed to say the least.
And finally as if this isn't impressive enough they serve it up with some genuine traditional style patatas bravas with both sauces.
+ you get a glass of wine, beer or soft drink with your menu (they have 9 craft beers on draft!)
