So Good!

Great place, great vibe! Lots of sandwich/burger options including tofu, seitan, quinoa, blackbean, and garbanzo burgers.
I had the Garuch sandwich - breaded tofu with lettuce, tomato, sauteed mushrooms, and homemade cilantro mayonnaise. Fantastic! They also make their own bread for all of their burgers.
Definitely recommend this place!
Also very close to Avenida Italia which is great for an afternoon of strolling.

Pros: Varied menu, Homemade bread, Great vibe

Good food here

I went here in January 2019 and the lunch of the day costs 4400 pesos. The day I went the lunch included a piece of whole-grain bread with a tomato dressing, a mixed salad, and the main plate which was actually a bowl with slices of baked potato, cooked vegetables and some meatballs made from bread crumbs and bits of tofu. There was also a teriyaki sauce and some peanuts thrown in for a little more protein. The drink was also included. I thought this was a good deal compared to other vegetarian restaurants within 2 miles of here. Arrive by 1:30 p.m. to get a table. By 2pm all of the tables were occupied.

Pros: Good flavor

Cons: Could have used a little more protein

Great place for lunch

I had the plate of the day - which was an Asian-style noodle and vegetable dish, based on coconut milk. It comes with a starter of salad, bread and salsa, and freshly squeezed juice. Everything was very tasty!
The owner is a really funny older Chilean woman, who makes you feel welcome from the moment you come in😄

Compañía x años!

De los primeros locales, ahora más amplio. Lleno de sándwiches, papas fritas y postres. Prueba el café con bigotes @drnicosoto

Pros: Buenos precios

Cons: More junk than “healthy” vegan food

Parada obligada

Demasiado rico. Variedad de opciones veganas en un lugar muy acogedor. Precios justos. Rescato la atención.
Recomiendo la hamburguersa con tofu apanado y las limonadas.
Volveré por lo dulce!

Pros: Lugar acogedor

Cons: Nada

Best vegan fast food place

I had the seitan burger, which tasted so much like fried chicken that it was unbelievable (needless to say, it was delicious).
I also had a chocolate milkshake, and it too, blew my mind how delicious it was.

All in all- everything here tastes amazing. Visit! You won't regret it.

Pros: Tasty vegan fast food

Buenísimo

Uno de los mejores lugares a los que he ido por comida vegana. El ambiente es acogedor y amable aparte de lo estéticamente agradable del lugar en sí. Bello bello, me encanta.

Pros: Lugar enteramente vegano, lo cual le da otro punto

Big but bland

The restaurant itself is cosy and kitsch, murals on the wall type of thing which gives it a nice atmosphere. The food was not bad, and you do get a decent portion for your money, but the food could definitely could be improved.

We split 2 burgers and also had 2 cakes (peanut butter cake and a banoffee type slice). One burger (BBQ tofu I think) was tasty but the other (breaded seitan) didn't really taste of anything.
Both of them were COATED in not-very-nice-mayo, I'd recommend asking for this on the side and applying yourself. The cakes were okay but also a bit bland and the bases were very hard and dry. Chips were actually very nice.

They had a lot of burgers on the menu so maybe it would be better to serve fewer options and make them all the same quality.

Pros: Good value, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Bland

Go here for Iced Cafe and great food!

Went there for lunch, didn't try any of their sandwiches/burgers, but shared a daily menu which consisted of typical bread with pebre (a salsa with tomatoes, onions, cilantro), a small salad and rustic potato mash, veggies (zucchini and eggplant) with tofu, tomatosauce and a basil leave. The Café Helado was supposed to contain vanilla icecream, yet I could only find tons of whipped cream - still very very delicious! The oreo shake would be better with icecream instead of ice (frozen water) in my opinion. For desert we shared a lemon pie which was very sweet and yummy, strawberry sorbet and vanilla icecream (sugar-free and with rice milk). Didn't care that much for the vanilla icecream, but the strawberry sorbet was great. I would come back, if I had more time in Santiago, but I also want to try the other many vegan options here!

Pros: nice atmosphere, cheap daily menu, good value

a bit disappointing

I have read so many good reviews about vegan bunker and was excited to taste their food. I enjoyed but not that much: food is just ok. We had two different burgers and two slice of cakes: bread was so soft it just disintegrated with the sauces, burger was hard and cold inside. The pie’s crust was really hard and it separates from the fillings. Mmmh ... there are a lot of better options in Santiago.

Pros: vegan

Cons: ok food, basic quality

Feels like home, and tastes even better.

I had the Aji burger which is tempura zucchini in a home made bun with very tasty creamy fillings, it was almost like a thick bechemal sauce layer in the burger (I added the vegan cheese so it may have been that) and the Vegan Revolution juice.
I'm only for 4 days but I will be going back. This is only day 1 for me in Santiago, so I don't know the prices to really compare but I don't even care because the food was amazing!
For Melbournians, I challenge you to get a better Vegan burger at home. I could have been in Brunswick.
The feel of the place and the staff were great too, my Spanish is poor but I met the manager (or owner) and she was friendly and grateful for my compliments.

Pros: Multiple burger options (soy and plant based) , Ethical and believe in their cause, Enthusiastic and friendly staff

Expensive and food ok

I was so exited of going there for all the good comments I heard about it, but of course I didn't know the prices. When I first checked the menu I wanted to take everything but it was extremely expensive, so I ended up taking just a oreo milkshake and it was just some cookies with soy milk, nothing special and way too pricy.

Pros: Vegan

Cons: Expensive, Not best quality

First option, always

If you want to eat vegan u must go to VB not only because they were like the first ones to really go into vegan all the way but because they were really brave and go for it, so good for them, try everything because it's always good, fresh and really vegan and the best part is that is cheaper than any other so, lets go there

Pros: Tasty, Abundant, Cheap

Cons: When you want to pay it's really slow , Space, they need a bigger space, They should have more options

cool funky cafe, amazing burgers

So happy to have found this place, the burgers were so yummy and filing, the hummus is nearly authentic!
The staff are lovely and the place has a great vibe. The customers are anything to post yoga groups, business people or cafe dwellers.
The drawings on the walls are nice and inspirational.
The cakes are a must try!!!

Pros: good size servings, amazing detests , yummy smoothie

Cons: a bit out of the way

Reaally cool!

Nice political and antispecist drawings on the wall, cool service, cheap price (3000$) and good vibes.
The burgers were very good, especially when you add more sauce as it lacked a bit at first. Very rich (we were starving as we came in and it was almost hard to finish)
The deserts looked very nice, although the one we tried was a little bit disappointing (not bad, but could definitely have had more flavour).
Very nice experience, highly recommended.
:)

Pros: cheap, antispecist place, very nice location in barrio italia

perfect vegan'junk' food

We had an insane black bean nacho burger! Bean patty was unusual and crispy on the outside. With proper fries and mustard it was great, and a good price 3000.

We also tried the dark chocolate raspberry tart, which was so good I questioned its vegan chcooclate. Also the raspberry muffin we took home for breakfast.

Lovely setting light and airy inside and good helpful staff

Fyi no wifi so can't go and catch up on work.

Great place

Loved the space, first thing, with much light and very comfortable and nice, and the food was super tasty.
I'm happy I was taken there by a chilean friend, and I understand quite well the place has become an unofficial HQ of the Santiago vegan community.

Pros: Nice space, Great choice, Tasty food

Cons: Not so big portions

okish

Supposedly the new location is an improvement, and the atmosphere is pretty nice. Unfortunately I was not really impressed with the burger I had (deep fried bean mash-ish), which was except for the guacamole too dry, and from the first vegan restaurant in Chile I would have expected food made with more experience. And with more love.
After my burger I didn't feel like trying the cakes. Which is a first for me.

On a final note I must say that I don't mind getting up and getting my own cutlery, but that it helps more with a canteen feeling than that of a restaurant. A feeling which is enhanced by the food.

yum!

Fill your vegan soul, and belly, with this neighborhood gem. Located in a residential area that isn't too far from the tourist scene. This delicious stop will fill you up on the cheap. Part self-serve, part sit-down restaurant; the service is good, but it's not full service. Expect to get your own salad and silverware. Animal rights messages are artfully placed around the restaurant, with a chalkboard to add your own. The food was tasty and filling. Plus they had an assortment of vegan desserts! Absolutely worth the trip!

Bueno

Pretty good vegan junk food in a place that looks a bit like a cross between a children's nursery and a DIY art gallery. Which is a good thing in my book. Worth a visit if you're in Santiago.

Pros: Friendly , Lots of stuff to look at on the walls, Inexpensive
