Huge selection of vegan food - Edit
...but even compared to icelandic supermarkets quite expensive. Which makes sense when you see all the imported vegan products. Quite cool to see the selection and we also tried some stuff, but nothing for everyday shopping.

Amazing!! - Edit
We saw a poster advertising Vegan Budín in the restaurant Mama in the city center of Reykjavík and were so glad that we could visit! It had a wide selection of every kind of vegan product you could imagine. We were especially excited by their cheese and chocolate/sweets selections. They carry brands from all over the world, and they have a cleaning goods section with refillable options. It’s a (very scenic) 2-3 mile walk from downtown Reykjavík!

Wow!!! - Edit
The self-proclaimed largest vegan super market in the world. It’s 2-4 times larger than any other vegan store I’ve visited across North America and Europe.
Read moreAisles:
- x2 frozen meat substitutes and vegetables from the US, UK, Iceland, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and Poland.
- vegan dairy (cheeses, spreads, milks, and yoghurts) and produce

A must for stocking up on your trip around the Ring Road or cooking your own food in Reykjavik.
Pros: Options to the 10th Power, Very reasonable prices , All vegan! (No 2nd guessing)
Cons: Difficult to access without a car

Amazing vegan grocery store - Edit
I came here from the US (northeast area) and was very impressed with the selection of products. The store has everything from produce, frozen meals, breads, household items, baking ingredients, small take away meals, snacks, candies, chocolates etc. Of course, everything is vegan! Support this store by buying something 😃

Vegan paradise - Edit
A real supermarket full of only vegan stuff! This is heaven. They have a large assortment, everything like frozen meals, fruits and veggies, snacks, ice cream and even soaps, make-up, supplements and T-shirts and socks. We bought a lot of snacks and wished we stocked up more. We came at the end of the day and the donuts and other fresh stuff was 50% off, so that's nice too.

Amo la leche de papas. Es bien cremosa, como la de avena, pero poco mas pesada.

I love the potato milk. When I first saw it on plant based news, I thought it was a joke, but then I found it online and ordered it (I was still living in south China). Fell in love! It’s so creamy and has become my second favourite milk, just behind oat. Great on sustainability issues as well. Oh, that’s so cool that there are other grocery stores in the world fully vegan! I saw small ones, but never an actual/proper grocery store.

Amazing finds - Edit
This makes up for Reykjavik not having many decent vegan restaurants. Lots of stuff I can find back in my home city, but as well as snacks from Iceland, Sweden, Finland, also a few chocolate snacks from the US I'd never seen before.
Read moreI tried not to spend too long at the freezer section or at shelves of spreads and sauces as I couldn't take any of it home. Or the sadness at the cheezes and flavoured tofus I'd never eat in the next couple of days. Spotted a new Ben & Jerry's "Milk" and Cookies ice cream made with sunflower butter that I really wanted to try. It's a bit outside of the city but worth the trip.

Can't recommend enough - Edit
Iceland is amazing for anything vegan, so amazing that they have a 100% vegan grocery store. I was amazed at the plethora of products they had. There were many things that I had never seen or heard about and the selection was unbelievable.
Read moreVegan Budin was a huge highlight of our trip and go-to for quick vegan snacks that we needed on the road.
And they introduced me to my new favorite chocolate brand: Moo Free. If we had this back in the US, I'd gain 50lbs from eating all of their chocolate (and it offers so many flavors).
Pros: 100% Vegan, Amazing selection, Great location

So happy I found this store! - Edit
I’ve visited this store a couple of times during my Iceland stay. It’s just perfect! They stock everything from fresh bread to soup to sweet treats and fresh produce and cheese. It’s a great store to stock up on vegan food and I didn’t find it too expensive either - especially for Iceland!

Worth stopping by to stock up! - Edit
This grocery store should be your number one stop before heading off on the road. Vegan basics like milk/cheese are quite easy to come by but this place will sort you out with the treats. We got things like canned chilli, hearty tinned soup and meat-based pasta sauces to take off to our cottage in Husavik.

Lots of options - Edit
I came here when I went on a road trip through Iceland. My idea was to get some food beforehand but it actually wasn’t necessary because almost all other shops sell vegan food. I also think it was a bit more expensive then the regular shops. Keep in mind that other shops don’t have all the options like Vegan Búdin, just milk some cheese and bread. So no special spreads for on your bread or meat replacements.
