Just great vegan food - Edit
Cosy place with a fine choice of vegan food at a very good price. Friendly staff. Make sure you try it out when in Napoli. Easy to find in Via Duomo between Spaccanapoli & via Tribunali.

Decent vegan food but inconsistent quality - Edit
This place offers a 100% vegan food with a large menu (a cheese and faux-meat platter, risottos, pasta, etc.) but the food quality is a bit unequal. I had the cheese and faux-meat platter (everything seemed homemade, that is a very good point), and some of the faux-meat were delicious, others less interesting and the cheese mostly had a texture and the taste of margarine. I enjoyed my dish but it was not the best I had in my life. My friends took some pasta dishes that were not amazing but some others were! So, you must be lucky to find the good dish if you really want satisfied. The good points are that prices are low, the staff is friendly and everything is vegan. Give it a try but do not expect too much though.

Yummy food, the portions are quite large as well. Good for those on a budget as it was well priced. Try the mixed bruschetta (€4) it was so good!

Good choice of meals - Edit
The place is trying to provide a rather diverse menu beyond the traditional tofu/seitan/hummus. Everything we tried tasted great. The special prize goes to the chestnut strudel, which was heavenly.
Read moreThe place can be quite busy during the lunchtime.
PS: They were never open before 11 despite the listed open time being 8:00.

cheap eats - Edit
Friendly staff and nice burgers, cheap food. For my taste, too much sugar in the sauces. It has happened to me to get very unripe avocado sometimes.

The worst vegan food i ever ate :( - Edit
I guess that was the worst food i ever ate and i was in shock that there's a lot of good reviews about that place. The food wasn't fresh, overcooked, tastes horrible. They gave me 1 soy sausage as a soy burger, and to my boyfriend 1 little slice of seitan (0,3 cm thin) as a seitan burger...that was a joke. It looked like made in microwave. I coulden't eat it :( It's really sad that the only vegan bar in Napoli shows to the world – that kind of veganism :(

Nice people, nice food. very lovely place - Edit
Today was the first time in this restaurant and I’m so happy we found it. We drank some juice at noon, the people are very friendly and patient; they told us about the restaurant next door. I would give more than five stars if it’s would be possible. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much, we’ll come back tomorrow.

I often find myself going to this restaurant and it always surprises me positively. Staff is really nice and their vegan pies are fenomenal! Portions are really large (sometimes too much) for a great and cheap price. Healthy and yummy!

Definitely worth a visit! - Edit
We went twice to Sbuccia E Bevi, once in the morning and once for dinner. When we went in the morning, they did not have a whole lot to offer other than some delicious Babás which we enjoyed back in our airbnb. When we went again on our last evening for dinner, we absolutely loved it. The owner who was working as a waiter that evening was super nice and spoke perfect english. We had a huge plate of antipasti variations, then the gnocchi, lasagna (best vegan lasagna I ever had!) and timballo followed by zuccotti and creme caramel. All of it was amazing and we did not leave anything on the plates.
Read moreAdditionally the place was cosy, the owner was lovely and it was obvious that the ingredients were fresh. On top of that, it was pretty cheap (we were 3 people and spent about 18€ each).
Ah and also it is completely vegan and the menu is huge! I am still a little bit sad that we weren't able to try everything.
Pros: excelent food, completely vegan, lovely staff, great atmosphere
Cons: would have loved a breakfast option

Nice burgers! - Edit
My boyfriend and I ate in the restaurant (they also have a take away counter next door) and had 2 of their famous burgers ( I had the chickpea burger which was delicious and my partner had an aubergine burger), you could really taste that they were fresh and homemade.

great vegan option in Naples - Edit
So glad to have found Sbuccia e Bevi. It's a to-go counter w a dining room next door. The dining room has 7 two-tops and 3 four-tops. Small and intimate. Every table was full. It was wonderful to see the diverse and funky cross-section of customers this spot draws.
Read moreI am from Los Angeles, California, USA and don't speak Italian, unfortunately. There was one waiter who spoke English and was pretty busy w all the tables full, so it was a challenge for me to understand the menu. The great news is; it's ALL vegan, so I wasn't worried about that part!
My Lover ordered the 2 Burger Combo and the spinach patty and house mayo were the highlights of that generous plate (pic posted). We also ordered the apricot pie (they call it a tart) and my Lover enjoyed that, being a sweet tooth.
I ordered the Green Plate because I couldn't understand what the other things were! The waiter said "it's all the side orders". I expected it to be green (I'm high raw), but all the sides were very cooked, rather, and quite brown instead of green (pic posted). Of the sides, I dug the one with cabbage and caraway in it as well as the hummus (lots of lemon and garlic!).
It says they have raw food here, and outside of the juices and smoothies, I'm not sure what the options for raw were since, as I mentioned, I can't read Italian. We ordered the fresh, mixed juice for libation. They also had wraps, burgers and other entrees. The portions were generous and the prices affordable. Since Europe is difficult, in our opinions, for vegans to dine out, this was a very welcome restaurant on our travels!

Right next to the university. They are very friendly-- probably the friendliest owner/servers during our trip.

Tiny vegan oasis - Edit
I had a pleasant experience here. I wanted something simple to eat for lunch so I ordered a bowl of quinoa with veg for €4 which I thought was cheap! I knocked my bowl over and lost most of the quinoa but they refilled my bowl for me ☺ which I thought was lovely. They were very accommodating as I have a few allergies so they told me what I could/couldn't eat. I also are a delicious dessert there, (I've posted the photo on here) which was free from sugar and used natural alternatives instead (which I'm always happy to see).

tasty little oasis - Edit
Although the space is small, the service is friendly and the location makes it a great place to stop by for snacks and sandwiches. Note that this isn't a sit-down restaurant, but they feature freshly made creations every day including soups, pastas, lasagnas, etc., as well as burgers and sandwiches. Great juices also. Perfect to pick up a lunch to go. The owners mentioned that they're expanding hours, so check to see if they're open nights (this may start in May 2015). Recommended, check it out!

Poor service, not great food - Edit
I was so excited to find a vegan food choice near my hotel during a recent stay in Naples! Unfortunately when I entered I was 'greeted' by a very sullen lady who was not in the least interested in helping my husband or I out despite us being friendly and polite. We struggled through regardless because we were hungry and keen to get some delicious vegan food in a city that I wouldn't really class as vegan-friendly.
Read moreThe food was supplied quickly - I had a Seitan burger and my husband had a soy burger. It took us longer to pay than it did to get our food! The burgers were cold and the bread rolls used were awful - being in a country that is appluaded for its bread products I couldn't believe they could get this so wrong! Poor service that left us feeling as though we were a hindrance to the business and poor quality food - if this is vegan for people in Naples I don't hold much hope!!
Pros: Food came quickly
Cons: Food poor quality and cold, Bad service

Dear lady are you sure you stayed at sbuccia e bevi? it sounds like it is another place. I go there every day and it's wonderful to find different choices all the times. maybe you arrived on a crowded moment, the lady doesn't speak english and she could feel unease, the burgers are always fantastic, maybe they got cold in the meantime. try it again next time, napoli is fighting a great war to become vegan, and sbuccia is a great vegan oasis.

Delicious vegan 100% - Edit
I work near via Duomo where I found this wonderful place. they are vegan and proud to be, you can see that from the variety of dishes they prepare: salads of any kind, soups so tasty that you ask a second one ;-), burgers, vegcheese, vegtuna, brown bread and cereals, spelt, barley, amaranth, rye, then sandwiches, rolls, tortillas, pitas, chapati, fresh fruit, tasty smoothies, juices. The place is small but the menu is huge, you get easily addicted ;-)

A few steps away from famous S.Gennaro Dome, you'll find this tiny salad-bar. It's really small: just a short vitrine/buffet with different salads and fruits.
