Incredible brunch - Edit
Very cozy place! Really liked the friendliness of the staff. Especially Acai bowl and powerful peanut smoothie tasted incredible and the bowl itself was large enough for brunch.

WONDERFUL - Edit
This place is great, it’s a cafe offering many drinks and lunch/breakfast options. The food is really really good and the women that work there are so kind. I love that they have a little grocery section as well, it works! They carry many unique vegan items and everything is great quality. Highly recommend!

Very interesting place - Edit
I found Vegabond suddenly when I was walking down the street during a trip to Amsterdam in my way to Anne Frank's house. It was a surprise find a 100% vegan store/cafe with a friendly crew. You can find chocolates, cupcakes, cakes and smoothies. They have a lot of variety of groceries, meat and cheese alternative. It's a very interesting place when you can buy some vegan food or you can have a snack or a delicious homemade smoothie.

perfect. - Edit
What a great establishment, my wrap was amazing my fresh red juice was great, the Banana Bread was the best I ever had. I also purchased a few items like vegan chocolate and the soy jerky in three flavours. The staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The ambience is nice, I highly recommend vegans visit and support establishments like this one so when we travel the world we have places to eat and meet like minded people.

Do mot miss this gem of a vegan lunchroom and grocery store - Edit
I cannot believe it took us so long to discover Vegabond. This is a must for vegans and non vegans alike. If you love croissants, if you love donuts, if you love all sorts of sweets, if you love wraps and if you love other savory items, this is the place for you. They have numerous vegan cheeses and even carry Daiya pizza. We went for brunch this morning and it was so delicious. I had three different kinds of croissants (chocolate, regular, and pistachio) and took a fourth kind home. My spouse had a wrap and veggie rolls and also little spinach pies and a vegan Brie sandwich. Yes, yes we ate too much. But we were so excited to find all this fantastic food. Also the range of vegan groceries that they have it exceptional. They have a margarine, Alsan, that we used to drive to Germany for. We will go back again and again. Do mot miss this gem of a vegan lunchroom and grocery store.

essential shopping in the dam - Edit
This is always the first shop we go to get stocked up on vegan delights for our yearly stay in the Dam. They have a good selection of fresh and perishable products and we always chill with a coffee and cake in their small seating area overlooking the beautiful street and canal.

Not so many lunch options as we had hoped though, and hardly any place to sit down and have lunch on the spot.

Adorable snacking spot - Edit
This is more of a cafe and snack shop, with a small vegan grocery section in the back. It's cute but upscale, so much so that I was going to buy some chap stick but put it down when I saw it was 5.99 Euros. I had a rice paper fresh wrap with a small amount of peanut dipping sauce. It was good and actually fresh. The seating was kind of awkward inside at the front of the store.

Nice shop and cafe - Edit
A small cafe with lots of vegan products on the shelves along the wall. Some nice looking wraps and cakes in the cafe fridge and some amazing looking vegan doughnuts (not gf sadly). I picked up some raw crackers which were really nice - a lot of the food products are things you can get most places (Violife, iChoc etc), but they had a good range and some vegan shoes and other sustainable type household products. Nice place.

Pass by and snack. - Edit
This is the all vegan to go place in Amsterdam to shop some "special" foods like cheezes, sweets, junk food etc. It is also the only place I saw selling Alsan plant butter so far, which is a nice surprise since it is hard to find a tasty one at regular grocery stores. Overall they have a good assortment, so you should find what you need.

A place u Will Love! - Edit
The place is very small but very nice. The staff is helpful and very nice even when crowded! The food is REALLY tasty! The grocery part is alright u will probably find what u need but I wouldn’t go there especially for that (maybe for the vegan cheeses but avoid the Brie though, it’s super pricey and taste NOTHING like Brie, I’m French so I know my cheeses! Lol and none of my friends liked it either vegan and not vegan).

Great place for vegan lunch. - Edit
It's a nice place, nice location and lovely staff.
Read moreThe food is all vegan, so it's nice you do not have to worry about that.
For lunch I found it an excellent choice, especially the Green smoothie bowl.
I ate it together with the Wrap, and I have to say that both were heavy, I should start with just one of them and then see afterwards.
In the deserts, the raw Twix has an amazing taste as well.
If there is something less attractive I have to say, it's that don't go there by car, use the bike or public transport.
I was lucky with the car to find a spot nearby, now I guess that was pretty much an exception.
Pros: Nice place, Excellent vegan lunch, Lovely staff
Cons: No easy parking around

Great fresh meals, exceptionally friendly staff (especially considering Amsterdam's standards!) and a nice big grocery store section with delicious fake meats and cheeses. Lots of vegan junk food and dips and spreads as well. Unique seating arrangement that seems designed for maximum sociability!

Great for a snack if you're not on a tight budget - Edit
The food is mostly cold and more of a snack than a full meal. The coffee tastes amazing though and the atmosphere is very nice as well, especially on a sunny day. There are also lots of cool (food) products to buy. It's a bit expansive though.

I am pretty new to this and I was not ablr to find vegan chocolate at AH or Dirk. I found Vegabond and they helped me getting it. Besides, I was having a bit of a problem replacing milk and they also helped me in that field, by trying to find a solution to the issues I listed out.
