The food here was SOO good! I cannot convey how nice their focaccia was, and if I could have eaten more I would have. They also had quite a variety of things to buy in their store as well. Definitely worth a visit if going to Amsterdam!

We had a nice breakfast (banana bread, overnight oatmeal, caffe latte with soy milk) at Vegabond. The food and the coffee were delicious. The store seems to have a nice selection of organic and vegan stuff, but we did not have the time to check in detail, as we were in a hurry. Maybe next time ...

Hmm, so I was kind of expecting more here! They had only a few options for eating which were pricey, but they didn't even have something to heat the food. The store is okay, I bought the great vegan feta cheese and crackers. We had coffee which was good, but otherwise, I expected a bit more. I think there's better places to eat in Amsterdam!

I had a spinach and 'cheese' pasty which was ok but nothing special. The coffee vanilla cream cake thing was fab. The shop was very very hot, with nowhere to sit out of the sun.

Disappointing food menu for vegans - Edit
I walked pretty far in the hope that i would get some good soul food. Disappointed when there wasn't much meals. Even though it's a cafe i expected more and it's pretty pricey for the options. Not sure why other people have reviewed it so well as there is so many other decent vegan places in Amsterdam

Read moreHalf store, half cafe. I got a pink donut (3€50) and a cinnamon donut (2€75, yesterday donut). I also got the summer rolls, 4 small things (8€, maybe too much). They also had a ciabatta sandwich and hummus wrap and more. The donuts were amazing!!! My partner got the brownie 2 times with soy whip. He loved it. He also got a cappucino. I wanted to buy some groceries but I already bought stuff at Deshima. I did get soy jerky though. Really good. Lots of snacky things. Marshmallows. Cheese!! Like brie and more. And vegan meats. And protein bars and powders. I will load up before I leave. They also had a small section of toiletries. And some chapsticks and cookbooks. We loved everything we got.

Ik ben hier 2 keer geweest om te ontbijten, en heb echt 2 keer fantastisch lekker gegeten! Vooral de overnight oats vind ik echt geweldig, en qua smoothie raad ik de pinda dadel( volgens mij heet die zo) echt aan. Ook niet vega mee-eters hebben echt genoten:)

This cafe has great breakfast and lunch options. We had a Tofu puff pastry roll and a spinach and vegan cheese pastry with a coffee and a very yummy berry smoothie. After it was nice because we grabbed some snack for the road in their store.

I absolutely loved Vegabond – it's the perfect mix between a little market and cafe. Got a latte, some traditional Dutch desserts and local kombucha for the road. So glad I stopped there on my way to the Anne Frank museum (it's super close by).

Pure vegan good stuff! Everything is so delicious and prices are high, but so is everything in Asmterdam, and it's soo good. It has more of a relaxed atmosphere, not good for a romantic dinner or sth, more cosy with friend!
