Nice Food

The food here was quite good. It is a small place and as a result does not have a ton of variety.

Small but good food

Small little place, the layout of the store means people are shopping where you’re eating. However the veggie sausage rolls were really good.

Pros: Good sausage rolls

Cons: Crowded, No toilet

Best apple-cinnamon porridge in a cosy place

When I looked up for a vege-place to eat during my day-trip in Amsterdam, this place caught my eye. And I didn't regret it for a second. I went for brunch and had a really-satysfing oatmeal with apple compote, blueberries, dates and cinnamon.
Accompanied with a Pumpkin spice latte, I fully enjoyed being here.
Plus, the concept store is loaded in nice snacks, specialised ingredients to cook vegan dishes and beauty and health products.
The team is really friendly and welcoming.

Highly recommand this place located in the Nine Street area.

Pros: Quality of ingredients, Quality of service, Products proposed in the concept store

Reasonable range of food, reasonable quality

Visited a couple of times. It’s OK, but nothing special. Food all seemed a little underwhelming.

Pros: All vegan! , Salads, wraps, cakes, Small store attached

Cons: Opening hours varied from those posted :(, Good isn’t as good as it looks...

Overpriced

Cafe / shop in central amsterdam. Very small and no toilet. All of the items they sold were at least twice as expensive as anywhere else.

Pros: vegan

Cons: Very expensive for what it is

Not bad but a bit unorganised

The cakes were good but nothing special. Coffee was alright. They were very slow though and quite unorganised. The bowls that they had looked awesome though but we didn't try those so can't comment

good and cosy

Very good soup and summer rolls, and the chocolate-hazelnut cake was good.
Nice staff.
The place is very tiny, so is kind of cosy but if a wave of people came, you eat with the neighbour on your lap 😯

Groot assortiment in de winkel

Een lunchroom annex vegan kruidenierswinkel.
Ruime keuze in artikelen.
De lunch was prima. Lunch is allemaal wel al voorbereid. Wordt niet vers voor jed gemaakt.
Gezellig zitten met uitzicht op de gracht.

We had a lunch and did some shopping.
It felt like a child in the candy store!
Tip;
When you visit Amsterdam centrum go by bus, tram or walk. Not like us by car🤣🤣

Pros: Veel keuze in de winkel.

Nothin left!

They’d run out of any hot food, they weren’t serving items on the menu and the toilets were out of order - not worth the 30min walk here!

Nice small store/bistro

Fully vegan store with vegan grocery items, fresh cakes, donuts and some hearty foods like soups. We had a cake and donuts, and it was great. A bit expensive.

Pros: Good cakes and donuts, Good location, Nice people

Cons: a bit expensive, service a bit slow

Nothing special

It was way too expensive for what you get! I had the raw carrot cake which was good in taste but for the price it was not good enough, 2€ more and I can buy all the ingredients to make my own raw cake. Also I was really disappointed by the fact that there’s barely no place to sit. Although I really liked their incorporated store, it was embarrassing to have always people around you who look at products, come in and out .. I expected more

Pros: Great located

Cons: Too expensive , Too little portions , No toilet, it’s a cafe man!

Yummy carrot cake

Only stopped for tea and dessert. Very yummy carrot cake. It’s a good option for getting vegan products but not really to come seat and eat a proper meal.

Pros: Great place to find vegan toiletries & groceries

Cons: No wifi , No bathrooms

Vegabond offers a wide range of food and (coocking) products. I always go there for the no muh duh if i feel like making fondue, and the donuts from Nono Cakes which they sell here are amazing. Very friendly staff located on the beauty of the cannals.

Cosiest place in town

I have no regrets in saying that is really the BEST vegan place in Amsterdam. They have savoury as well as sweet food. It's in a really nice area, staff is very kind and the atmosphere is really cosy.
It's the perfect place to go to have a quick lunch, to study or read, to meet with friends or if just want to make a good vegan shopping experience. I tried the dutch apple cake and it's to die for, you must try it!

Small but tasty lunch selection

We went here for lunch. The selection was small, but tasty. We shared some very fresh and healthy spring rolls with peanut sauce, and a couple of spinach and feta puffed pastries - yum! We also bought some vegan cheese (they have a lovely little grocery store there with lots of vegan options) for the plane ride the next day, and it was delicious!

Pros: Delicious, Amazing grocery store options, Friendly service

Cons: Small selection

Great but that goes without saying

Interesting and inovative, this restaurant/shop had all the essentials. The food on the menu is amazing (I had summer rolls) and they also have some vegan skincare/accessories. Definitely recommend it.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Very friendly staff

Cons: None.

Great meal!

So happy we stopped here. We passed by it on our way to the Anne Frank House and stopped in for a late breakfast after our tour. I had the overnight oats which was delicious! My husband had the focaccia and said it was good as well. We both had lattes with oat milk which were great. A nice variety on their menu with some treats as well. A great place to stock up on food supplies too since they have a good selection of snacks and groceries.

Pros: Vegan, Gluten free options, Great for a meal or just groceries/snacks

100% worth visiting

I love this place. The summer rolls are delicious, the doughnuts are soo good and basically everything is worth trying. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is great, the food is tasty and they have LOTS of vegan products to buy, for example soy jerky (hell yeah), sweets and snacks and other things, bodycare and coconut bowls etc.

Pros: GREAT FOOD, a wide variety in products, all in all just GREAT

Cons: not the cheapest, too few places to sit

loved it!

Cute spot by a canal. Ate a lot of yummy things while I was in Amsterdam - a focaccia, banana bread, apple cake, GF brownie. I also bought some vegan cheeses that they had for sale in the store part.

Staff were friendly.

Would have loved if there was more seating outside but in general on that street there wasn't enough space so that's not anyone's fault!

Pros: cute spot/location, delicious, lots of options

Health kick

Vegabond is a bit over rated, it gets recognised as one of the best vegan cafes/ restaurants in Amsterdam, but there’s soooo many that offer food 10x as good. Good if you want a quick, healthy snack. Their brownie is very good though, if you’re a chocolate lover give it a go.

Pros: Everything is vegan

Cons: Over priced , Always busy
