Wow - Edit
Che posto meraviglioso! Locale accogliente e con cibo strepitoso. Tutto quello che ho mangiato era davvero buonissimo! Il rapporto qualità prezzo è eccellente. L’ho amato tantissimo e mi sarebbe piaciuto tornarci ancora e ancora.

Good mango lassi - Edit
We visited here twice, first time in the ground level restaurant, second time on the first level restaurant for breakfast. We had Spinach pancakes and barley porridge roulade with mashed potatoes and salad, which was both tasty and for breakfast the English breakfast plate, scrambled tofu, ham and hummus sandwich, Mango Lassi, Banoffee pie and some french pastry with whipped cream. The mango lassi was quite good and the french pastry as well, the rest was okay. The upstairs restaurant is quite cosy.

Good price-quality - Edit
Tried one of the traditional dishes (Stroganoff) in their bistro/buffet on the main floor. Service is very fast and I liked the Stroganoff. This was topped with a good sauce, and the accompanying salad had it's own, also very tasty, sauce. Although it's a buffet I was very happy with the quality and taste of their food.
Read moreAs dessert I had some puff-pastry with whipped cream between the cakes. The whipped cream and puff-pastry were extreme "light" to eat, so this was an excellent ending of the lunch.

Vegan polish cuisine in the city center - Edit
Great place with vegan Eastern European dishes and delicious cakes. The ground floor is a canteen whereas the 1st floor is a cozy cafe. If you sit next to windows, you can enjoy a great view of the city center. The menu contains dishes of different kinds: polish/eastern european food as well as pizza and burgers. For a desert, you can find cakes, muffins, and ice cream. From the menu highly recommend kluski and pirogi (ground floor), potato pancakes (1st floor).

Very happy - Edit
Great service, good food - and especially food that you do not find everywhere.
Read moreWe recommend Placek Po Wegansku for lunch. The oyster mushrooms are pretty good, too - but a bit too much for a quick bite.

Due to Happy Cow regulations, extraordinary restaurants that are not completely plant based can only receive max 4*, so to be fair to them, I can only give 4* here.

Don't go if you don't know Polish - Edit
Their fake fish was very dry but everything else we got was ok. The staff didn't speak good English and it took us a long time to order because they didn't understand what we wanted. When your food is ready they call it in polish only which makes it hard to know what's for you if you don't know polish.

Good place for some cheap food - Edit
Vega is a must visit as the oldest veg-restaurant in Poland.
Read moreThe koncept is cafeteria-like, so the price is also a bit cheaper than on "real" restaurants. The food, in my opinion, is not bad, but it is not great either. I had a seitan steak with buckwheat and salads. It was fine, however a bit too salty for my taste. And I furthermore had a tiramisu for dessert, which was not geeat either.
They have a very broad variety of dishes (Polish dishes, Asian dishes, burgers, pizzas, bowls among many others), too broad in my opinion, since eateries with a very broad set of dishes tends to be mediocre (at best).
The staff and decor is nice, and I will definitely recommend people to visit this place. But the food is only 3,5 out of 5 stars in my opinion.
Pros: Friendly staff, Nice decor
Cons: Food a bit mediocre
