Lovely spot - Edit
Fab little market spot with some outside seating. Food always tastes super fresh and delicious. Who knew celeriac could taste so good? The Kebab is incredible too. The staff are always lovely too and very accommodating. Menu hasn’t changed since I’ve been going there (a good few years) so would be cool to see some more/new options at some point. Think I’ve tried everything off the menu at this point multiple times but it always goes down well.

Hidden away but worth finding - Edit
Had the 'vebab' (£7) which was very nice. Was told it would take ten minutes which isn't a problem and you'd rather wait for good food. Especially when you can see a lot of care is taken over it. A couple of benches just outside but not sure they were covered if it were to rain.

Fantastic Shroom Balls - Edit
Went to Tooting especially for this place and it didn't disappoint. It was a little bit of a cold day so we sat inside which was a bit noisy (in terms of loud music) but quiet in terms of not many people at the time. It wasn't child friendly (only tall stools available for seating)
Read moreThe owner was very friendly and I had a nice chat with him. The shroom balls were the absolute best and I had the moving mountains burger(great), one of my party had the kebab (good). The brownie and ice cream were also excellent
Pros: Very friendly owner, Great food
Cons: Communal area of the venue was a bit noisy, Not very child friendly

Great food! - Edit
Only tried the 'fish' burger made from nori battered celeriac, and it was great! Wasn't sure how celeriac would go down as I'm usually not a fan, but it worked really well. Saw a few people eating other stuff and it all looked really good too, will definitely be back to try.
Read moreIt's tucked away but I would recommend travelling down to try this place. It's quite near to the station and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Owner was super nice too!
I went mid afternoon and food came super quick. I think it's also good value for money.
Pros: All vegan, Very tasty, Conveniently located
Cons: N/a

friendly but - Edit
the owner is super friendly and it's great to finally have a vegan option in tooting however, I have a problem with vegan places being over priced and inaccessible to everyone. I had a brownie a few days ago which was £5 and did not live up to the price at all, basically a slab of raw batter😡have had other food there in the past and it's usually pretty good, though it's definitely fast food and not very healthy.

Cons: pricey, brownie disappointing , bit greasy :/

Tasty food, bit of a vegan oasis in Tooting - Edit
Had the wild mushroom arancini and seitan kebab, both were tasty and filling, the the kebab was full of salad, just the way I like it. All food wrapped in paper and cardboard boxes - good to see no plastic being used.
Read morePros: Tasty and filling, Fast food but options come with plenty of salad, Friendly service
Cons: None. You’ve just got to find it in the market!

Great place at the back of Tooting Market. The food I had was exceptional. - Edit
Nori wrapped celeriac in beer batter was probably the best vegan “fish” I’ve ever had, served with homemade chip shop curry sauce. I had a spicy bean stew to follow which doesn’t sound very promising but trust me it was excellent, rich with olive oil and a smokey paprika tomato based sauce, also containing well cooked veg including a smattering of kale. Topped off with some creamy cashew confection this dish was greater than the sum of it’s parts. Can’t wait to go back and sample the rest of the menu. If you’re vegan, or vegan curious, and anywhere south London this place is s must.

It’s great to find a place where the whole menu is vegan and you can choose what you fancy rather than settle for what you can eat. I had the daily special which was a mediterranean stew, delicious :)

Friendly Staff & Delish Food! - Edit
Have eaten at Herbies and also ordered takeaways. I absolutely adore their burger, as does my meat-eating husband, but all of the food is great! Really friendly owner & staff, beer & wine also available, a fantastic addition to the Tooting markets - and one you can definitely take your carnivorous friends to as well!

Nice Vegan Food Stand - Edit
This little vegan food stand is around the side of Tooting Market. It's got a good menu and the food is served pretty quickly.
Read moreI had the squash & green bean satay with cauliflower rice and heated it up for lunch the next day. It was delish.
I'd come here again, although I'd usually be more in the market for things like wraps and sandwiches at around the £5 mark from a food stand.
Definitely worth a visit.
Pros: Tasty food, Handy location at Tooting Market, Friendly guy running it
Cons: More wrap/sandwich options would be good
