Hier wird man von einem Restaurant überrascht, welches mit kreativen Interpretationen bodenständiger Küche aufwartet, deutlich über dem Standard, aber entspannt vom "Fine Dining" abgegrenzt.

Nicht nur das Bier ist eine Besonderheit, sondern wird ergänzt um ein überschaubares Weinangebot.
Ein toller Ort für verschiedenste Anlässe.

I expected the dishes to be more like your cliché German „Wirtshaus“ style (huge portions, tasty but rather simple), but I was proven so wrong! The food is prepared very, very sophisticated, super well seasoned, their own beer is amazing and the staff perfectly friendly. And the dessert made me believe in god😉I‘d definitely come here again!

Having visited this place in 2019 I have dreamed about it but couldn’t remember the name or where it was. So happy to have been reunited. The staff are lovely and the food is totally delicious!!! Glad I went with someone who was happy to share.

The food was superb, creatively combined and presented in an extraordinary way. Definitely something you don't find everywhere. It felt like we were dining in a michelin restaurant. Yet, the prices were very reasonable. Their self brewed beer was also good.

Ich war bereits öfter im Vaust und jedes mal war es geschmacklich ein Erlebnis. Die Karte wechselt regelmäßig. Es gibt also immer wieder neue Gerichte zu entdecken. Meine nicht veganen Freunde, mit denen ich bisher hier war, waren im Anschluss auch immer begeistert. Wer also etwas besonderes sucht, um auch nicht Veganer davon zu überzeugen, wie gut veganes Essen sein kann, ist hier richtig.

I've tried my luck : taking one piscivore and 3 omnivores there for dinner. We were 5, and with some advice by the knowledgeable waiter, everyone was able to order quickly. Then, our experience became a symphony of exquisitely prepared vegetables. Each dish tasted differently, and I was able to enjoy distinctive tastes of different vegetables prepared to perfection.

I chose this place out of necessity for two of my colleagues and my (luckily open-minded) boss. Since I was the only vegan, I had the privilege to choose and planned to go some place else but everything was fully booked. But we were all positively surprised by the super delicious veganized German dishes Vaust had to offer. We ordered too much but we tried to finish everything. The staff was very friendly, obliging and always attentive. One of the rare restaurants that doesn't serve mainstream vegan food like burgers, bowls and the like and is still exceeding all expectations.

Fancy place to bring dates, family, or visitors - Edit
Vaust has a high-dining vibe that makes it the perfect place to bring older family members, reluctant vegans, or to go somewhere a bit special and romantic. The service is great and the decor is dark and moody. They serve up German classics but veganised, and are one of the only vegan places in the area. Really recommend. The drink selection is great too.

My friend and I wanted to try something a little more elaborate but within a reasonable budget, so we decided to come here.

We left full and more than satisfied with the whole experience.
The food is very tasty, the combinations are creative & easy to digest and the displays are appealing to the eye.
The homemade lemonade is also very flavorful and to be recommended.

We somehow expected this place to have mainly traditional German kitchen - but they proved us wrong. For us it was a pleasant surprise to look at the card and even more to taste the food later on. Everything tasted great!

Die Speisekarte wurde recht zügig gebracht, das Essen ließ jedoch lange auf sich warten und war zudem unvollständig! Das Essen sah zunächst schön angerichtet aus, konnte jedoch geschmacklich überhaupt nicht überzeugen. Die Gerichte waren viel zu fettig und hatten ein sehr schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (wenig Essen von dem man nicht satt wird, für einen überteuerten Preis). Es lohnt sich nicht diesem Restaurant einen Besuch abzustatten!
