On a bien aimé nos repas. J’ai goûté le risotto et c’était très crémeux - le fromage était super. La portion n’était pas trop grande pour le prix, et un des calzones sur le plat “Stella” était trop salé. Néanmoins, bon atmosphère et sympa serveuses et en tout le dîner était délicieux.😄

We had the balsamic risotto, the beignets, and the pistachio themed pizza. All were very good and incredibly creamy and filling. The vegan cheeses and creamy ingredients were some of the best I have had worldwide, and something you don’t get a lot in vegan cuisine. The two front of house ladies from Rome and their back of house from Napoli were all nice and would go again for sure.

Read moreIt’s hard being vegetarian in France so we are always pleased to find interesting and innovative vegetarian and vegan food. Utopia was a charming, small and cosy restaurant in one of the side streets in Nice. The food was delicious and gourmet so we didn’t mind paying the expensive prices.
So when we were looking for a special place to go for our 30th wedding anniversary last night, we thought we would go back to Utopia. What a disappointment!
Firstly, the restaurant had moved. Instead of being small and cosy with a lovely ambiance for a special occasion, it was now large with bright lights and more like a fast food restaurant than a upmarket restaurant. The menu has also changed. It was now predominately serving vegan pizzas. The other choices were pasta and risotto which you can get in any restaurant so not at all special. But for us, most surprisingly was the inclusion of fake meat in many of their their meals - fake chicken, fake bacon and fake sausages. Not exactly interesting and creative.
We got the risotto and the gnocchis. The portions were large but stodgy. It didn’t come with anything else- no vegetables or salad. So just a large bowl of each. The taste was ok but nothing special.
We ordered dessert which was better than the main course.
And although we ordered wine and beer, they charged us for tap water!
So all in all, though we had a nice time, this is not a restaurant we would return to or recommend unfortunately…
Koko Green in Nice is much better if you are looking for good vegan food.

They owners are the nicest people and the food is amazing. They make their own cheese and it tastes so good. My husband is not vegan and he says that their vegan dishes are better than non-vegan food.

Some of the best food I've ever had. We both hd a pizza and a pudding and it was all incredible and very much worth the price. Portions are big and very filling and there are soooo many options. Not a bad thing to say about it.

Amazing italian style creative dishes - Edit
We had pizza with plant based mozzarella and a salmon made out of tofu, vegan lemon cheesecake for desert, and organic wine. They speak perfect english and dogs are allowed to come with you inside. Preferebly make reservation before going on phone.

Read moreAs for the food, I found it good, but not great. The starters were excellent where the cheese board was a fantastic choice. The pizza was fairly okay, but the dough seemed under-seasoned, however, this could be due to the locals consuming a low sodium diet. I'll be sure to stick to the Margherita pizza next time instead of trying the pesto pizza with the stuffed crust (last pizza on the menu). The cheesecake desserts were great. I would very much recommend the red berry cheesecake along with the exotic fruit cheesecake. Overall, this is a good restaurant, but prices are at the upper end of the market. Worth trying for sure!

This place lives up to its reviews let me tell you! It reminds me of one of my favorite Italian vegan places in LA and really comforted me it’s filling portions and robust flavors. Everything is amazing you really can’t go wrong and you know it’s good when there is a Nonna in the kitchen I highly recommend making a reservation for dinner as the service fills up fast and you won’t want to miss this place!

We started with a vegan cheese platter which was superb. I’d never had anything like it before - they resembled Gorgonzola, Brie and Feta perfectly and topped it off with a great cheese dip - as well as fantastic homemade pizza bread. The main courses - Pasta Cabonara and a pizza - were also amazing! Absolut recommendation, I’ll be back for sure!

we didn’t book and risked it but they fitted us in and didn’t seem to mind at all, nice restaurant and nice staff food was tasty and they had a few gluten free options also. carbonara was tasty but quite a small portion, and the sorbets were not the most flavoursome and more expensive than getting them from an ice cream shop. overall tasty and a nice experience

The food at Utopia was delicious, and the deserts really good. It was a joy to discover this real vegan restaurant in Nice after having realised that the French hardly even know the word ‘végétalien’, let alone cater for them! My family and I dined there this summer and enjoyed both their pasta’s and pizzas. To get an additional star I would like to see a choice of green vegetables on the menu such as salades and cooked vegetables accompanied with one of their very tasty vegan cheese sauces. And if something could be done about the accoustics…., this would truly be Utopia! Thank you for a very nice meal.

Must eat if you’re vegan and in NICÉ! The food was incredible, rich and tasty. A little pricy but worth every cent. Had the cheese plate, calamari, carbonara, and a veggie pizza. Lovely wait staff and fun ambiance. Nicer place so good for celebrating. Or just eating great food
