Great thai place

Love this place. Lots of veggie options and the servers have always been knowledgeable about veganism when I've been there. A bit healthier than some Thai options (tofu isn't deep fried) and the pro tip isnto ask for thai basil to be added to your curry. Veggie curries run around 12 dollars. Awesome noodle dishes too!

Pros: Options, Customizable , Affordable

Now.

I wouldn't order the curries if I were you.

I think if you're vegan you should become acquainted with the ingredients that are not vegan but commonly used in various cuisines.

I haven't been to a local Thai restaurant that makes their own curry paste. They use commercial curry pastes.

There are a few manufacturers that offer vegetarian versions but most contain shrimp paste. Check it out on Amazon. Read the label. Most Thai people wouldn't consider vegetarian curry paste to be authentic to their culture.

Since they offer vegan I asked the gentleman to let me read the label on the container of the curry paste but he refused and suggested I order a stir fry dish instead.

I left.

If you are in the neighborhood and they're open, I can recommend Thai Babe. Definitely vegan upon request and delicious too!

Pros: Looks nice from the outside.

Good vegan options!

I tried the masaman curry according to another review here and it was pretty tasty! I really like how you can customize everything. My food came with “vegan” underlined on the lid and I really appreciated that. Thai flavors are on point! I can’t believe I haven’t tried this place before.

Update: I recently tried the curry pad thai and it was tasty, a little on the heavier side, but I didn’t realize that I had to add toppings (most are free, but some are $1 which is expensive for non-meat toppings like cilantro) so it came bare. I really love the fact that I can customize the vegetarian menu items and request for it to be made vegan!

Pretty good

Love the variety of spice level choices. I got the sweet & sour made vegan with tofu. It's supposed to come with pineapple but did not. I also paid an extra $1 to add bean sprouts, with also weren't included. Food was a good temperature when I picked up and was still hot when I got home. I wish they wouldn't use plastic containers for the entrees. And I wish they would switch to compostable rice boxes. Comes with a good amount of sauce.

Pros: Easily customizable

Cons: Messed up my order

Best vegan thai in the Ann Arbor area

Try the massaman veggie vegan, I get the hot spice level. I'd stay away from the nuclear spice level unless you are a spicy food veteran

One of the very best Thai restaurants ever!

My wife and I love this place, so many vegetarian and vegan options. Staff is friendly too. They operate on Thai spice levels so hot is to order with caution. Their flavors are amazing at any spice level. During the summer they even grow their own Thai Basel which they use on many dishes. Two of my favorites are their green curry and the tofu & eggplant.

Pros: Lots of vegetarian options, Authentic flavors, Friendly

Cons: Styrofoam containers, bring your own, Have to remember to turn down the plastic straw, None, food is amazing!
