Really good ramen - Edit
The Ramen are really good and worth it to deal with the order machine which is only in japanese. So bring you translator If the chef don't have time to help you.

Short walk from the Tokyo Dome - Edit
Excited to try a ramen with a soy milk broth.
Read moreSmall shop with a few bar seats available, and you order outside on a machine. Luckily, the owner/ manager? was free because he saw us outside trying to navigate it (everything was in Japanese)and was very nice and helpful and came out to talk about the menu and show us how to order. (Cash only if I remember correctly!)
I got the Spicy Soy Milk Ramen, and my partner got the Miso Ramen. We paid for extra soy meat too, which came on the side.
Unfortunately, it could've just been that we weren't super hungry or something, but we didn't enjoy them as much as the ramen we'd had at another spot. Not bad, but also not incredible. The soy milk one was slightly salty at the end (maybe it was the extra soy meat?) and he felt like his miso one was a tad oily.
Either way, not bad and I'd give it another go if I had more time in Tokyo.
Pros: Interesting flavors
Cons: Order machine

One of the best meals of our lives! - Edit
This ramen was not only the best ramen we (group of 3) have ever had, but also one of the best meals of our lives. The depth of flavor of the broth was unbelievable and the noodles so chewy and perfect! We went there twice and I'll be dreaming of this meal for a long time, for only 900 yen as well! 100% recommended, this place is a must try if you're in Tokyo.

INCREDIBLE! - Edit
This was the best ramen I've ever eaten.
Read moreYou order outside, and we were trying to figure out the machine and we're immediately greeted by the owner/chef who explained what everything was. He spoke excellent English and was super friendly.
All ramen is vegan as it comes, but there are some non-vegan (all vegetarian) additions such as egg.
Super reasonably priced. I would love to go back to this place.
Pros: Lovely owner, Incredible food , Reasonably priced

My favourite place in Tokyo - Edit
I'm so sorry this is not a fully vegan place. Everything can be turned vegan - if he did it and were listed as vegan he could attract more clients. Because this was the best ramen I had in my whle 2-week trip to Japan (tried a dozen)! I only go to vegan places but in Jimbocho this is more or less the only choice and was very hungry😄The atmosphere is that of a typical izikaya, so it's not easy to find a vegan restaurant like this. Probably 6-7 seats. You'll likely wait to be seated but only if a familiy or little group is eating there. The way of paying in advance is a bit tricky but the guy will help you.

Cons: placing the order at the machine outside..

Delicious and cheap with a wonderful owner - Edit
Located near the hotel I was staying in, I ended up eating here 4 days of the 7 I was staying. At just ¥900 per bowl of ramen with Miso, Soy Milk and Apy Sauce based vegan ramen varieties on offer, it only got better each time I ate there. The owner is super friendly and helpful and speaks English, he was happy to answer any questions I had and explained which options were on offer the first time I went. This is an absolute must try if you are in the area and well worth a trip to try even if you aren't. My personal favourite was the Soy Milk based ramen but the Miso Ramen was a close second.

Superb! - Edit
This place was close to my hotel and the first night we tried to eat there, the owner explained he was sold out (good sign!). We went the next day for lunch and it was well worth the wait! The owner is so kind and the soy milk ramen was excellent, especially the extra chewy noodles. A must for veggies in Tokyo!

Authentic and cheap meal - Edit
Small shop with a few barstool style seats serving delicious ramen. Very helpful in teaching me how to use the payment machine (tickets bought before you enter) and explaining which dishes are vegan. Soy milk ramen was very good and not too spicy.
Read moreEdit: I cannot emphasise enough how kind the owner is here. I came back the next day after another work meal with no vegan provided and he was closing up early due to selling out on a busy day. He saw me outside and reopened and offered me a miso ramen (all he had left).

Phenomenal Vegan Tsukemen - Edit
Plant-based tsukemen is a thing now in Tokyo and Zuppa single handedly brings that to all the vegans like myself.
Read moreThis small, traditional ramen bar seats 6-7 people so you get an authentic nood experience while enjoying incredible vegan friendly food.
You start by paying in cash in the kiosk outside the bar. Insert money, select your offerings, and take your ticket and change. Everything is vegetarian but can be made vegan by informing the chef.
My vegan tsukemen (¥1100) was phenomenal and took me back to my days eating these noodles at other Tokyo establishments. The eggless wheat noodles were fantastic, dipping broth was savory, and the fresh veggies on the side made this a fantastic combination. I slurped these up and left feeling completely satisfied and wanting more.
Will definitely be back in the future for more tsukemen.

The best ramen restaurant - Edit
I'm vegan, so I look forward to coming here every week. The tsukemen is based on tomato and miso, and tastes like pasta. The ramen is also delicious with plenty of vegetables. I especially like the salty flavor. The soy milk tantanmen is also a flavor that makes you want to eat it again and again. They also offer various flavors of pasta for a limited time, so I recommend it.
