All vegan at the airport

How awesome to have an all vegan place at an airport. It’s within the Tokyo Food Bar, mini food court, after security in terminal one. Didn’t give the full five stars as the menu is pretty limited compared to other T’s branches. I had the gyoza (yum) and sesame tantanmen - I didn’t really like it that much but that’s my taste rather than anything to do with the food. I’d get the shoyu ramen next time instead. #Veganuary

Pros: All vegan spot at an airport

Cons: Small menu

Vegan place in NRT

We were shocked when we saw t’s at the airport! We had a good meal before boarding our flight! The food was good and all the options were without onion and garlic

Great vegan.. but not the same

Disclaimer: we were seriously overdoing it! This was our 3rd visit to a Ts Tan Tan outlet in 10 days.
We really wanted the black sesame ramen but unfortunately they had only the golden sesame ramen! So skipped! Instead, had the veg gyoza and suffered from diminishing marginal utility.
For those who haven’t tried it, it is worth having before getting out of Japan. Conveniently located opposite Gate 51 where our flight to India was boarding!

Cons: Don’t have the full range of dishes

Delicious Ramen!

We were so happy to find T’s Tantan at Narita Airport since we loved the ramen we had at other T’s locations around Tokyo! It’s located at the Tokyo Food Bar across from Gate 51 and was really convenient for having a satisfying meal before the long flight home.
I had the sesame tantanmen as well as the gyoza and both were delicious!
Service was friendly and very quick.
Definitely worth stopping in here if when going through Narita Airport.

After Disney Tokyo this was an Oasis

After struggling to find vegetarian and vegan options at Disneyland Tokyo what a surprise to find T’s

Located in the Tokyo Food Bar along with several other restaurants across from gate 51 in terminal 1.

First dish was SESAME TANTANMEN which had a great sesame peanut flavored broth. Tantanmen is a Chinese dish of noodles covered with a sauce of sesame paste and chili oil. It originated in Sichuan Province

Second dish was SHOYU RAMEN which was our favorite with a rich meaty broth. Shoyu ramen is a type of ramen dish that has a broth made of soy sauce. The word “shoyu” means soy sauce in Japanese. It has high umami flavors along with a tangy strong taste too

Started out with gyoza appetizer.

Pros: Plant Based at Airport!!!!!!!, Great Flavors , Plenty of seating

Cons: Only three dishes to choose from

It was good

There was nothing bad about the food we had here, I just didn’t think it was that great compared to other ramen I tried during our trip.

Not bad for the airport cafeteria

So thankful that Ts is at Narita airport!
Its not the best ramen, but still quite yummy.

Just an FYI, it looks like Ts Tan Tan is made in a shared kitchen with 2 other restaurants at this food court, so if you are concerned about cross contamination you might want to double check.
This was our first and only Ts of the entire trip, as we had so many other amazing options during the trip.

Amazing

Maybe it’s just because I’m so excited to take my first trip abroad since the pandemic, but this was the most delicious bowl of T’s tantanmen I’ve ever eaten. Full of veggies and flavor. As others have noted, it’s beyond the security/ immigration gates inside Terminal 1.

It's definitely open (6th August 2023)

After reading the reviews on happy cow we were a bit unsure whether there was still a T's tantan at Narita airport. Confusingly Google maps and various other webpages say that the restaurant is in terminal 2 - Google reviews seem to suggest that that branch has shut, but happily for us there was definitely still a T's tantan in the Tokyo Food Court in terminal 1 (near gate 51). Perhaps the restaurant moved from terminal 1 to terminal 2...? It's past security and immigration so build in a bit of time for that if you're planning on squeezing in a meal before your flight.

This is one of our favourite vegan ramen places on Tokyo. We'd highly recommend the golden sesame ramen in particular, which you can get here and at the other T's tantan branches in Tokyo station and Ueno station (and Ikebukuro station too now I think, although I haven't been there).

We raced to try and arrive before the stated 19:00 closing time on happy cow, but I don't think we needed to rush. I went back and checked at 20:30 and the food court was still open and packed with people slurping noodles. I don't know the exact closing time but as far as I can tell it's later than 19:00.

Best airport food

We were so happy to find a T’s tan tan at the Narita airport. This was probably the best airport food we’ve ever had. Prices are not extremely inflated either - we ordered two ramens which totaled 2200 yen. It is located in a ramen food court which is located across gate 51.

Pros: All vegan , Good price

Nice food

I tried the cheese ramen, and the soup is very flavourful (slightly salty).

Based on the staff, the ramen doesn't contain onion or garlic.

Pros: The taste, Food display

Cons: Menu did not indicate the ingredients, Limited menu

First vegan restaurant that I found at an airport! 😃💚

Great little spot in the Tokyo Food Bar court in Narita Airport. It was a great surprise to find a fully Plant Based restaurant inside the airport!

The food is pretty nice. They have 3 kinds of ramen and gyoza. We tried two types of ramen and the gyoza. My favorite was the sesame ramen. Very tasty and full of flavor. The shoyu ramen is also nice, it comes with some soy meat.

They are quite fast preparing the food, they took around 5 min only. Important in an airport!

They also sell vegan instant noodles. I tried that brand and it’s really good!

100% recommended!

Super happy to stumble upon T's at NRT food court!

The sesame ramen was fantastic. I wish I was hungry enough to get the gyoza. I got some of the vegan cup noodles to take home as well!

Suitable for Oriental vegetarians

All 3 types of Ramen are suitable for Oriental vegetarians who do not take alliums. Only gyoza contains alliums

They do sell their cup noodles there and only soy sauce flavor is without alliums.

This is along the stretch towards Gate 11-40+. Not the same side as Gate 51.

Vegan ramen in the terminal

I was lucky to find this near my gate. Pretty good size menu. I got a ramen. Very good food. Some complained about the price but as far as a meal in an airport goes it’s very reasonable with good quality meal.

Pros: Delicious , Convenient

Located in ‘TOKYO FOOD BAR’ area

Quite expensive but you’re in an airport... and eating from a purely vegan place... in Japan!!! The food is just as good as the other restaurants. Gyoza were a bit average though

Pros: Everything is vegan , IN THE AIRPORT!!!

Convenient!

Convenient to eat here before flight. Almost all seats/table have charging points and this food court is relaxed and great while waiting for flight.

Prices for food are good and they have some really good takeaway sandwiches/bento boxes, as well as the famous cup noodles (priced 250¥ per cup) in case you worry about your onboard vegan meal gets mixed up.

Pros: Convenient, Wifi and charging points on alot of the tables, All vegan!

Cons: Limited menu, but still amazing., No water serve, you must buy or fill your bottle
