Amazing mac and cheese - Edit
Just the most tasty and delicious mac and cheese around!!! So flavourful yet also creamy. I also got the chocolate smoothie and it was divine, chocolatey, rich but healthy.

Not the best raw food - Edit
I had the raw burger and a Cesar salad. I was expecting a dehydrated burger, as raw burgers usually are. Was surprised to bite into just a burger shaped patti of nuts. It tasted okay, but nothing special. I've eaten raw for over a decade, and this was my most disappointing one.
Read moreThe cesar salad was also nothing special. The dressing was good, but I can make better salads at home.
On the plus side, the staff were super kind and welcoming. The place is small, but has a wonderful neighborhood feel.
Pros: Super friendly staff
Cons: Less than average raw food.

My first time here and I love it. I had the raw pesto zucchini and the raw chocolate PB balls, both delicious. The service is fast and welcoming.

Delicous! - Edit
Food was delicious! Loved that that had many raw options for a great price! Tried the zucchini pesto pasta, buffalo cauliflower and husband got the mac n cheese. We both loved all of it. Very creative spin and great taste. Also nice people, has a little bit of a home feel.

Acai bowl - heaven! - Edit
I was in town only for 2 days. I looked up vegan places for breakfast and came upon True Earth Vegan. A review said the acai bowl was amazing, so I went just to try it. I have never had acai, nor a smoothie bowl, and it exceeded all of my expectations. I would actually call that acai bowl the best single thing I have eaten in my life. I was sitting in the beautiful California sun on a pretty street, eating this amazing bowl... Big strawberries and a perfectly-ripe banana, and the thing that brought it way over the top is the coconut cream. It was out of this world. Many times when traveling I end up settling for a vegetarian meal, but in California there are so many vegan options. I highly recommend you try this little gem of a cafe. The perfect breakfast on a California weekend getaway.

Best Mac n Cheese ever - and it was raw! - Edit
This is a cozy little spot in the NoHo arts district with friendly staff and a fair selection of food. I had the earth burger combo with a side of mac n cheese. Both were raw and both were tasty. It felt a little spendy, but probably not more so than anywhere else in the neighborhood. I feel both satiated and energized - a great way to feel after lunch with a half day of work ahead!

Cons: A bit pricey - but worth it.

OH EM ACAI - Edit
Tried this place for the first time and I ordered the Acai bowl which comes with sliced bananas, strawberries, coconut shreds and coconut whipped cream for toppings. I left off walnuts since I don't like nuts. THIS WAS THE BEST ACAI BOWL I HAVE EVER TASTED! I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY IT!

Good option for vegans - Edit
Saw this on happycow for sometime now. Here's my True Earth Juicery & Vegan Cafe review.
Read moreMy friend went this week and brought me a raw cinnamon raisin roll which was tasty -- not your conventional idea of a cinnamon roll but one made of nuts and sweetened by agave (I think).
He had a raw zucchini noodle dish that he thought was yummy as well a green smoothie but thought the ice had watered-down the drink a bit too much.

Very tasty raw food and really sweet people - Edit
Don't eat raw usually out of choice but giving it a go while in LA, haven't ate much raw but this is best I've had so far! Shakes and juices are spot on & both the raw burger & garlic mac n cheese was both yummy. But I love the guy (i'm pretty sure chef) who works there- he went out the way to accommodate for my partners nut intolerance & explained all the food & dressings etc.. check it out!
Read morePros: Great for a raw newbie as has few cooked options t, owners/staff are super cool , not too expensive

Excellent! Love! - Edit
Hi!
Read moreWe stopped for breakfast while traveling to Universal Studios. We were looking for a vegan restaurant nearby. My husband and both our boys had smoothies and they were very good. I ordered the acai bowl and it was SOOO good! Both the lady and man who worked there (not sure if they were the owners) were very friendly! We sat outside and they set up the outdoor umbrella for us. The man said that they get their acai from Brazil and that it's not sweetened like a lot of acai. He also said that their acai bowl is authentic (Brazil) and that people visiting from Brazil love their authentic acai bowls. Either way, it was excellent, delicious, filling and satisfying. It was nice that he took the time to come talk to us and talk about the bowl. I also bought the raw vegan cinnamon roll. I was able to have a sample taste before buying it. It was also very good! It was a bit sweeter than what I would prefer but still delicious! I took it to go and its was the perfect snack throughout the day while at Universal Studios (their selection of vegan stinks!) so I was really glad to at least have that to snack on. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to stop by again when visiting. Thanks! Smith Family
Pros: Excellent smoothies, Excellent acai bowls and raw vegan cinnamon rolls, Excellent customer service

Just Okay - Edit
I have been here twice. The first time I ordered the raw tacos. Pretty good! But there was something bitter in the raw "meat" that I really wasn't fond of. Came back later, asked if they did just plain carrot juice because I saw it was an ingredient in many of their juices. The woman (who I believe is the owner or manager) was very rude and said no, that they didn't make just carrot juice. Okay... The attitude was unnecessary. So I left on the spot, and will not be returning.

We apologize that your experience was less than stellar at our establishment. Yes, we do not make carrot juice, but if that was not explained or conveyed to you in a polite or considerate manner, we are sincerely sorry. We are highly specialized purveyor of raw, vegan dishes, though we do have some cooked items. Nearly 98% of those who patronize our establishment understand the raw, vegan concept. We are always willing to explain, help and assist the 2% who may not be aware or knowledgeable of the raw, vegan concept. As vegans and those with dietary restrictions (gluten intolerance, etc), our choices are limited when dining out. We exist as a restaurant to give vegans an opportunity to eat out and do so without cross contamination with meat or dairy products. We hope you reconsider. Please contact us, we would love the chance to make things right with you. -Thank you : True Earth Vegan

Always friendly. Always informative. These guys know what they're doing! My favorite is the falafel. Then the mac & cheese. Tacos are great and so is the burger. And the cinnamon roll is divine. Definitely check them out!!!
