Not vegan friendly

I've been to this place many times and but the final straw was when I was getting a Vegan crepe, I watch the cook put my fillings next to the chicken and bacon.

vegan night

Drove up from over an hour away in the country specifically for vegan night. Waited an hour and a half for a table outside in the rain. Finally got a table in their loud, crowded dining room and ordered a little of nearly everything. It was all barely edible.
- the jalapeño poppers came out completely raw and still seeded. they're full of hummus which doesn't have the cooling component of cream cheese that is necessary in a regular popper, let alone a raw & seeded one. could not eat them
- the tofu wings were just enormous slabs of fried tofu, undoctored. if you're in the mood to eat an entire brick of tofu, go for it. the sauce is fine
- the tacos' main component is fried avocado. if you've ever had hot avocado, i don't have to explain why they were awful. if you've never had hot avocado, don't. served with a half full one ounce ramekin of pico that's supposed to be a "side of salsa." miserable
- the truffle fries where delicious but on the menu of every trendy bar in the country. don't come here for the truffle fries, you can get them anywhere
it's cool in theory that they have a vegan night at all but they have NO idea how to cook vegan food. They seem to be in the camp of people who have a fine regular menu but think vegans will eat substandard dishes just because it fits their dietary constraints. Would not recommend this food to someone I hated.

Bad practices

Sure the food is fine, but the owners and managers are constantly under fire for their racist and misogynistic social media comments and employee treatment. It’s basically a nighttime club/meat market that serves food during the day to look respectable. It’s so loud that you can barely hear the person you came with.

Cons: Poor treatment of employees, Loud atmosphere

AVOID ALL BOBBY GEORGE SPOTS!

Don’t let their marketing fool you. The owners of this spot, rebol, and a handful of other restaurants are well documented misogynistic, racist, right wing goobers. Please google “Bobby george cleveland” before going to any of these establishments. Support vegan businesses that are like minded of yourself.
