DO NOT GO HERE - Edit
I feel like the only people who go to Townhall are out-of-towners who don't know better and you cannot blame them for not being up to date on who's tried to m*rd*r someone in Cleveland, OH.
Read moreBut, PLEASE - do not spend your money here. Or at ANY of the other places owned by Bobby George & the George family (REbol, Barley House, LYV, Rise, Mandrake in Columbus, etc.)
Do yourself a favor and just do the most basic google search of "Townhall Owner" no other words needed, not Cleveland, not his name, not any specifics - just that simple search and you will be appalled at what comes up.
There are PLENTY of other places to get vegan food in Cleveland that don't support a s*x offender. Try: Tommy's, Happy Dog, heck.. even Barrio or Melt are better than going to this place.
Pros: Nothing, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
Cons: Bobby George, Nine Felonies (r*pe, attempted m*rd*er, etc. etc.)

Build a Bowl - Edit
Menu was different than I remember, but well marked for vegan items. Bowls seem to be the main thing. I liked everything but nothing stood out in particular.

Crappy food.Owner recently arrested for attempted murder and SA of his girlfriend. Spend your $ elsewhere!!!! - Edit
Went here many, maaaany years ago (pre-Trump, if that says anything) and BOTH times I got meat with my meal by accident.
Read moreSince then SO MUCH has been brought up about the family that owns this place. This isn’t the only POS establishment they own btw! They were not complicit during the peak of covid with the mask mandate, spouted off anti vaccine rhetoric, hosted trump campaigns, have had owners tell immigrants to “go back from where they come from”, have had told their young women employees they are not “Saturday night material “ and icing on the cake as of august 2024 …The owner is currently out on bail for attempted 🔪 and SA.

Impressive menu with food for every diet! - Edit
High quality food and fun atmosphere. I was impressed with the menu because there was something for every dietary preference. I eat low-carb, plant-based, and gluten-free and had a number of items to choose from here. I ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower Lettuce Wraps to share with the table, plus the Thai Peanut 2.0 with cauliflower rice and the Keto Nootropic (without butter). Service was friendly. Conveniently located to the Westside Market, which is a fun place to visit (with 90 minute free parking)

Food was great, but the owner is a MAGA trump supporter - Edit
You can decide whether you’d like so support this business, based on the owner’s political affiliations (MAGA fundraisers, etc). The food was good, and they had ample options with many items able to be made vegan. The vegan grilled cheese and the flatbread was super good though.

We loved their food. We got the beet hummus with naan which was nicely flavored. I got the chopped salad with vegan chicken. My husband got the beet and bean burger. Everything was delicious

Plentiful vegan options - Edit
Wow. The sheer variety of the vegan options here!! We went for weekend brunch and the place was HOPPIN’. You can easily access the vegan options and order on a ‘Skip the Line’ screen if you go into the TownHall Cafe on the right. (There is a full-service restaurant and bar on the left of the building). We got the vegan Veggie Burger and the vegan Huevos Rancheros, and we really enjoyed our meal. We also tried the vegan salted caramel milkshake (made with local Mitchell’s ice cream! So good!) and an almond milk latte to round out our brunch. Loved the vibe here.

Easy ordering, many vegan options - Edit
This place consists of a restaurant section on the left, and café on the right. We went to the café section where you can easily access the vegan menu on a screen. They have vegan options of many traditional brunch dishes.

Sooooo good!! - Edit
This place is amazing. We went on Monday night so we got several things off of their special Monday night vegan menu (5-10pm) and everything was delicious. A lot of their regular dinner menu is vegan or can be made vegan as well (I got the Thai cashew salad and subbed the chicken and cheese for vegan beyond chicken and vegan cheese). The popcorn tofu nuggets and Brussels sprouts were legit mind blowing. They had a list of vegan wine options as well which shows that they really know what’s up.

Vegan buckwheat crepes are fantastic - Edit
I love to load up my crepe with every veg option, tofu, and Daiya. So good! Potatoes on the side and a coffee make for a wonderful brunch. Brekkie tacos are delicious too.
Read moreThe section facing W 25 is shared seating on a first-come basis, so be prepared to possibly sit with strangers or have a wait. You place your order at the counter, take a number to your table, and they run it out to you when ready (except for the crepe station). The rest of the restaurant is like normal with a waiter/waitress, etc.
Pros: Great food, hip vibe
Cons: Busy, can be pricey

I was in town for a conference and happened to notice they have an extended vegan menu on Mondays. I sat at the bar with a colleague and enjoyed MNF, a fantastic selection of beers, and a vegan gyro. Yum!!

Vegan Night - Edit
I love that they offer a more extensive vegan menu on Mondays. It's great to have many choices. The chimichangas were good. The jack fruit sandwich was very good but could have had more flavor and served on an excellent bun (my non-vegan mother raved about it). The popcorn tofu was fine. I got a milkshake. I could tell the ice cream was very good, but it was a bit thin. So overall, I would go back, but I'm guessing the individual dishes are hit and miss.

Horrible service - Edit
Celebrating my son's college graduation, we are a vegan family wanting to have a good time. We came with 18 people purchasing drinks and appetizers while we waited patiently for our seats. After 1 hour and 20 mins and never seeing an area being prepared or hostess not being able to give us any answers on the hold-up, we asked to see management. It became very obvious that this was more than us being a large group but being racially profiled and not welcomed. We felt disrespected by management and by staff, we were told to never come back and we will NEVER go back!!!

Hooray for Vegan Monday - Edit
This place is way more vegan-friendly than your typical bar-restaurants. The vibe is relaxed, and the vegan menu on Monday is great. I recommend the crispy tofu wings with buffalo sauce and the red enchiladas.

Surprisingly good! - Edit
Town hall is not a vegan restaurant but has many vegan options and looks like a really hip place to eat or hang out. Usually when in this situation you can pick from a few dishes but Town Hall really has a good amount of vegan options. So much so that I couldn't decide which one to try!
Read moreEventually I decided on the Classico Flatbread (with Dayia) and my husband had the Town Hall Veggie Burger. I was shocked at how much I liked it since this isn't a solely vegan restaurant. My husband also really liked the veggie burger. We also shared the Smashed Avocado with chips as an appetizer, which is a simple idea, but it was really good.
I would definitely look to go back and try some of their other vegan options the next time I am in Cleveland.

I knew this place would be good, but wow were we so overwhelmed with how delicious the food was. The atmosphere was on point too! Great beer selection. We went for my birthday which happened to be on vegan night...we had truffle fries, tofu wings, mushroom chimichangas, and a tabbouleh type salad bowl all topped off with a vegan cookies and cream cake! 😱
