It’s closing soon and I’ll miss it - Edit
I’ve been to Token a few times and enjoyed it every time - the vegan food is always good, though the options are greatly reduced now. I had the vegan tacos most recently and they were lovely. I also tried the vegan churros which I haven’t seen sold in many places in Dublin.
Read moreThere’s a good range of arcade games and it’s a really fun night out. Staff are always friendly.
They are closing within the next couple of weeks so if you have a chance to get there before it does it’s worth it!
Pros: Really fun games , Good vegan food , Meal deals
Cons: Meal deals are pricey but inc game tokens, Limited vegan options now, About to permanently close

disappointed with the new menu - Edit
I’ve been a regular customer for years but sadly I won’t be coming back for food anymore. They used to have lots of great options like ‘chicken’ wings, spice bag, hot dogs and lots of sides. The new menu features only a vegan big mac, fried onion and regular fries. I’ve tried the burger and it was ok, nothing special.
Read moreReally disappointed with the food as this was our spot for years, we supported them during the pandemic as well. Really sad to see all the good vegan and veggie friendly places closed down or changed menus completely after covid 😢
The staff was really nice and it’s still a good arcade place with great drinks but I just don’t recommend the food to any of my fellow vegans 🥲
Cons: not many vegan options on the new menu , food quality

They always forget the vegan - Edit
Been there more than 5 times all the times they came with chicken or meat and I need to tell them I ordered vegan even though I confirmed beforehand while taking my order.

Good fast food in great venue - Edit
I wouldn't go out of my way to go here just for the food, but the place in general makes for a great night. Has a good selection of vegan options such as burgers and hotdogs which are tasty so you'll definitely be well fed. But there are better alternatives elsewhere if you're just craving this type of menu

delicious vegan options - Edit
Token in Dublin serves delicious vegan options. The Vegan Very Big Mac was particularly impressive, with a double vegan patty, vegan cheddar slices, and Big Mac sauce creating a spot-on replica of the classic burger. The Vegan Chick, made with Token's fried seitan, was also delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors and a satisfying crunch. The herb salt fries and vegan chili fries were both tasty side options, and the selection of beers was great. Overall, Token is a great choice for vegans and non-vegans alike, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying and delicious meal in Dublin. #Veganuary

I did not went to token for the Vegan food but for play Arcade games 🕹 and I discover how good is the Vegan food there. It’s a pure Vegan Burger, I had the Vegan Big Mac and the taste remember me the fast food. I went there with my friend and was good to be able to have lot’s of vegan options and beer 🍻. Good place where to have dinner and fun with your friends.

Loads of choices and tasty food but really expensive - Edit
In terms of menu options it took me around 20 minutes to actually choose what to order as there were so many vegan options from tacos to burgers to vegan spice bags. I counted at least 9 different vegan options on the menu so you're definitely spoiled for choice. All the vegan options are clearly marked with a little green "v" on the menu which really helps in quickly filtering out the non-vegan options. I got the vegan burger and while it was really tasty, it was just way too expensive (€12.50) for what you got

Great spot. Avoid the food. - Edit
Token is a great place to relive your mis-spent youth over a few games of Pac-man or Galaxian. Nice vibe and a full bar.
Read moreThe food however, is not good value. Their €7.99 veggie hotdog looks and tastes exactly like the thing you can get in Ikea for about €1.25. I'm not kidding, it's an ikea hotdog on a plate and its 500% more expensive. The vegan 'big mac' is €12.95 and you pay extra for fries. There really isn't any excuse for this kind of price gouging. But they are getting away with it (see the other reviews here)
You'd think after shelling over 20-odd euros for a burger and a hot dog (with no fries) that they'd have left us alone for a bit, but no, the staff were literally falling over themselves to bring us the bill so they could move some more suckers onto the table and rob them.
The arcade games are fun. Eat before you go.

Favourite junk food in Dublin - Edit
Everything about Token was great! The staff are all attentive and lovely, the music was excellent and arcade machines were a lot of fun.
Read moreThe vegan chick burger I had was incredible, the seitan used was delicious. It was the best bit of food I had during my trip to Dublin. I also had vegan spice bag, that was also very tasty. However I was being over ambitious trying to eat both that and the burger- either of them on their own would probably have been more than enough food.
I’d recommend booking a table if you want to eat - it got very busy in there. It was overall a really fun experience, and one I can’t recommend highly enough!

On my trip to Dublin, my boyfriend and I had a great meal here. It is very loud, busy and staff aren’t too attentive but the food is so good it really didn’t matter! The arcade is lots of fun too. Quite pricey but worth it for a very fun night!

Great vegan junk food - Edit
If you're a vegan don't expect any healthy options! Actually, don't expect any healthy options at all! However, this is junk food at its finest; I enjoyed the vegan spice bag but was amazed at the volume of options. There's also a GREAT selection of draft beers and cocktails and the server was lovely. One drawback is that it can get really crowded here. Would be great if the food area was fully separate from the arcade, but I guess that's the whole point of the place!

Awesome - Edit
Got there quite early so we got a table straight away. Had the vegan nuggets and they were incredible, lots of vegan options and options for non-vegans and they're happy to help make sure your meal is vegan and it will come with a little flag in it to ensure you it's fully vegan. Also had a delicious vegan sundae. Really cool place with lots of retro games to play, really fun atmosphere and a great place for a first date! Food might be a little pricey, but it is Dublin and it is worth it

Great food, but... - Edit
The food was amazing, but the staff totally forgot about us. We never got drink refills and after we were finished we waited 10 minutes, but never got checked on. I asked the girl at check in who said I had to track down the waitress, but didn't see her for another 10 minutes. It was also very loud and busy, but that's to be expected in an arcade.

Incredible vegan junk food - Edit
We went to Token to play arcade games and wound up buying a chilli cheez hotdog, chickn sliders and the vegan "spice bag" strips and fries combo. Everything was absolutely delicious, the service was great and all in all we felt like it was really good value for money - would absolutely eat there again any time we're in Dublin. I'd give them five stars if happy cow would let me!

Delicious, variety, but small portions for price - Edit
Vegan corn dogs, vegan hot dogs, vegan brownie sundae, vegan chili cheese fries!!! But really small portions. The “big boys” hot dog was the same size as an average hot dog in the US and does not come with a side of chips or fries, you’ll have to buy those separately. Prices are essentially like buying concessions at a sport game. But I was impressed with the variety of vegan options. It’s called token because its basically like a european sized dave n busters - ddr and other coin games and pinball available to play for a fee of course. Be careful if you’ve had alcohol and need to use the bathroom because you have to go down a large set of stairs to get down to the restrooms. Clean and nice atmosphere but pricey for the portions served - but the portion allowed me to get both a hot dog (the vegan [censored]) and the vegan brownie sundae, yum! I might come back either way just to try the vegan corn dog and chili cheese fries!

Went here for the first time today. Ordered two main dishes and one arrived freezing cold, also it took about twenty minutes or more for food to arrive which I thought was strange considering it's all fried. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but can understand it hitting the spot when people want junk food.

My favourite vegan food in Dublin - Edit
Unlike most places that only have one vegan option, Token has a whole vegan menu that is regularly updated. They're always testing out new things (so be sure to check the specials!) and listening to feedback. You can get absolutely every vegan comfort food you could ever want here (burgers, hot dogs, tacos, nuggets, spice bags, mac & "cheese") and vegan alcohol options too. The atmosphere is great too because everyone is buzzing around playing arcade games. It's always so packed that they're expanding. It's an absolute pity I can't give them 5 stars because it's a rarity to find a place that doesn't treat their vegan diners like they're on a weight-loss diet or like they only deserve one option or like they're different from their non-vegan diners.
