Would give 5 stars if I could

V Cafe is a great place for vegans and non-vegans because the food is so delicious and the owners are friendly! It’s right next to New Westminster skytrain station and just right down the hill from Douglas College, so it’s convenient for students too.

The lemongrass “chicken” banh mi is to die for!!

Pros: Mostly vegan, Affordable, Close to skytrain

So good!

The variety is great and all the plant based protein options that I’ve had are super delicious. The prices are good too and the staff is friendly.

Pros: Very tasty vegan options, Good prices, Good portion sizes

Quite nice

I love that they clearly mark their vegan options and they are quite tasty! I just wish this place wasn’t so close to banh mi bar bc nothing compares to their sandwiches which makes this place seem less interesting.

Pros: Clearly marked options, Quite tasty

Great eats!

My partner and I drop by here whenever we are in New West. Really like the salad rolls and the tofu banh mi. Casual relaxed feel inside.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Quick and tasty , Convenient location from sky train

I’ve been here about 10 times so far I think the owner knows my whole life story

I’m always here with a couple of my friends and we always get the Vegan Pho Vegan Banh Mi. Great all around flavours. I just wish they made the original Banh Mi veganized so I can cream myself but otherwise great place for vegan pho that I’ve found so far.

Really fresh sandwiches!

First time ordering and was really impressed. Fresh ingredients, great quality baguettes. We tried all of their vegan sandwiches and rolls and loved them all.

Pros: Lots of vegan selection, Fresh ingredients, Very good price

Cons: Wish it was a 100% vegan restaurant

BBQ rib Bahn mi was sooo good

My boyfriend and I were in the mood for some Bahn mi and the BBQ rib bahn mi was so good. If I lived here I’d definitely go back for the same one 💕

Delicious and inexpensive

I’ve always wanted to try this place!!! I was visiting my parents and had the opportunity to order v cafe via skip the dishes. The banh mi was so yummy!!! I had the vegan ginger chicken and my parents got the lemongrass and we shared! My dad had never tried “vegan meat” before and he liked it a lot. Wish this place would eventually go fully vegan or even vegetarian haha

Pros: Lots of vegan options!, Inexpensive

Cons: Serves meat

vegan banh mi are amazing

My favourites are the pepper steak and ginger chick'n. I also tried the beet smoothie. All so good! I mainly order from here through skip the dishes since I'm lazy!

Pros: another vegan place in new west!, tasty mock meats, no raw meat on premise

Cons: serves ham and shrimps

Nice little restaurant across from Skytrain

Great little restaraunt . Make sure you double check what's vegan because not everything is. Like the chicken salad roll I had. Excited to try more.

Cons: Serves meat

Great service. Multiple choices of vegan bahn mi, vermacelli bowls, salad rolls, vegan pho. Try the Vietnamese coffee with almond milk!

Sooooo good

This is my favourite restaurant in the lower mainland. The lemongrass banh mi is sooooo good. And the vermicelli salad bowl is very good too. I wish they had more drin options and I wish it was fully vegan but man its great. Everyone i bring there loves it. I hope the new owners don't raise the prices.

Pros: Excellent sandwiches, Friendly staff, Nice space

Cons: Not fully Vegan, Not open 7 days a week lol, Not enough drink selections

Vegan Banh Mi and Salad Rolls

I've had a couple of the salad rolls and banh mi from here. Favourite is the lemongrass chicken for either. Smoothies are also delicious. Try the mango butternut squash or beet!

Prices are ridiculously low and you leave very full. Would easily be a 5-star review for a fully vegan restaurant.

Pros: Vegan in New West, Inexpensive, Filling
