Fun vegan diner - Edit
We’ve eaten at Thrive four times, and everything has been delicious. We’ve tried a couple of the bowls, the sausage sandwich, garlic parmesan fries, and the homemade sodas. Everything is fresh, and the preparation is great. I love that it’s a real diner too!

Vegan Diner FTW 🌟🫶🏽 - Edit
The fact that there is a full blown vegan diner in the Berkshires (Pittsfield to be specific), that alone is just amazing.
Read moreThis diner is, well, an old diner, and has a pretty decently sized vegan menu that offers typical diner fare and comfort food (apps, soups, salads, bowls, sandwiches, pastas, desserts).
Honorable mention to the Reuben, the Crabby, and the fiery fig dressing ❤️🔥

SO GOOD - Edit
So many options, and everything was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I were in town for a wedding and we came here a few hours before the wedding for brunch. Everything we ordered was unreal and so amazing. We ordered the sausage party fries, a reuben, and a BLT. The fries were AMAZING. The cheese sauce was sooooo good. The reuben that my boyfriend ordered was pretty good and he loved the thousand island dressing. The tempeh BLT was SUPER good, very smoky and delicious. We wished they were open on Sunday because we would have gone back!

Nice little all vegan diner - Edit
Quaint little spot in the Berkshire’s that offers all vegan fare. The in house made cranberry soda was awesome. Shared the loaded fries with hubby and it was delicious. My buddy bowl was nice but a little dry for my liking. The server was kind and sweet.

Loved it! - Edit
Great vegan diner. Lots of options from Buddha Bowls to greasy sandwiches. I had the Reuben at my server's suggestion, and it was great. Side kale salad was will worth the upcharge
Read moreHouse made sodas and desserts were not overly sweet. They automatically add a 20% service charge for dine-in orders, and additional tip was neither solicited nor expected. Great spot in a region without many options.

Best vegan in Berkshires! - Edit
The only real vegan restaurant in the Berkshires open for dinner. Very nice servers, good vegan attitude. Menu is standard fare, not very creative or imaginative. They don't always have everything on their menu. They don't seat customers within half hour of closing. Good food, many menu choices, good vegan desserts

Pros: Plenty of choices, Best all vegan dinner in the Berkshires.
Cons: Won't seat within 1/2 hour of closing, Closes early-- 7 or 8 pm, Open 4 days a week

Great experience! - Edit
We were so excited for Wednesday to arrive so we could visit Thrive Diner. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming, the young man who waited on us was very pleasant and the food was outstanding. We were already well into our Buffalo Bites and Spicy Buddha Bowl before I thought to snap photos. The fresh sodas and the lemon cake were so good. The owner also cares for her employees by paying them a living wage. Don’t miss Thrive Diner if you are in the area, outstanding vegan experience!

Wonderful vegan dinners - Edit
What a cool place. Went there three times in a town while visiting the area. All vegan and mostly gluten-free dishes. Let them know if you need to eat GF and they’ll accommodate. We had the Mediterranean plater, various bowls ( of your ask they are happy to separate the salsas from the hot food, which we prefer), and the crabby burger. All of it super yummy! I had the GF bun with my burger and it was tasty! Try the ginger lemon soda, we loved it!

Thanks again, Happy Cow peeps, for directing us to this place. It’s a diner in an old train car. We had the rueben sandwich with parma fries, and the Buffalo cauliflower street tacos with dal soup. We also tried their house made flavored seltzer—the blueberry as well as the pomegranate. We even bought some pomegranate syrup to take home. Everything was outstanding. Every town should have a vegan diner like this!

*EXCELLENT* vegan food - Edit
I was really surprised to find this great vegan option in Pittsfield. We were up visiting for volunteer work and asked people for a vegan option in the area. This is what was recommended. We had a tuna melt that was good, loaded fries which were amazing (we did the sausage option), and the crab cake Buddha bowl. It is rare for vegan seafood to taste like seafood, but those crab patties nailed it. The tuna didn't taste like tuna, but it tasted really good nevertheless. The kale coleslaw was good, but if you grew up in the south and are used to real coleslaw, this is nothing like that. It's more like tender kale tossed in a vinaigrette of some kind with a bit of a spicy finish. Not bad, but not coleslaw by any definition.

Excellent food - Edit
FYI: they’re sold out of the majority of their menu by Saturday night. Food is amazing however, the service was really poor. The server assured us it’s not usually that bad and gave us a free piece of cake. We had the almond parm fries, buffalo cauliflower, pretzel bites, soy curl tacos, and a piece of lemon cake, all of which I would recommend. I would definitely go back again and hope that the service isn’t as bad.

Hope to come back - Edit
100% vegan menu with some gluten free options. I came with 3 others. The almond parm fries were unique and delicious. 3 of us got sandwiches which were excellent (tempeh “tuna” melt, “crab” sandwich, and avocado melt). The other person got a grain bowl. They don’t use mock meats here which I appreciated. Portion sizes were good. Buffalo cauliflower wings were ok (sauce wasn’t to my liking). For desert we got a chocolate cake with buttercream and lemon strawberry cake. We were visiting from out of town. If I ever come back to this area, I would like to try the rest of the menu!
