They have beyond burger and gardein chicken that can be subbed in for burgers, salads, steak bowl, orange chicken, and even vegan chicken on happy hour! I had the beyond burger, with a side of fries. It was delicious!

They do have a vegan section on their electronic ordering machine at each table. It lets you know if the menu item is vegan as is or if modifications are needed. But all the fried items use a shared fryer with meat items. In my mind, that’s not vegan. The avocado toast is pretty tasty. You have to remove the feta spread. I wouldn’t call this a vegan friendly restaurant per se, but if you find yourself here, you will find something to eat.

The best Vegan meal on my trip - Edit
I must say this was the best Vegan meal I had on my trip In Virginia Beach and this is not even fully vegan. I was able to get the orange chicken Vegan style. The waitress Diaja was super super nice. When we sat down she asked was this our first time visiting. She was so attentive and it was really packed.

And I asked what was in the orange sauce and she went and looked with the chef to make sure that the orange sauce was vegan.
Also it was pretty pricey but when the plate came out. I was in awe that the portion size was well worth the money.
Even the other people that was with me their portion sizes were worth the price.
If I visit Virginia Beach again I will definitely come here again.
Now I have a headache because soy gives me a headache and they had Gardein meat.

There are 2 options for vegans besides fries and other fried food which includes Garden Chinese Stir Fry and a Beyond Beef Burger. If you are heading with a non vegan friend group it’s nice to have options to go along with their impress beer list. That said it’s pretty pricey for bar food that you can buy frozen.

Their Gardein wings are amazing! Along with that their pizzas with Daisy cheese and Gardein chiken are amazing, most waiters and waitresses are well educated on what is vegan to help you customize your pizza. Go during happy hour to get the best bang for your buck.

I love the avalanche of options but the food is hit or miss sometimes. I live maybe a block away so it’s the most convenient option for me and I’ve probably eaten their to much so take my review with a grain of Himalayan salt. Great ambience horrible music. If you like beer of any kind it’s a 90% chance they have it or something very close to it

We had the buffalo cauliflower w/ tahini sauce, truffle fries and edamame.
They even have a whole Gardein section which is very impressive, with many options to choose from.

I had the Beyond Burger at Yard House and had a side of fries. The burger itself was unremarkable (it's the Beyond Burger--what else is there to say?) and the fries were way too salty. The beer selection there is outstanding. The restaurant itself was dimly lit and crowded. My server excitedly demonstrated the electronic device for ordering tableside and seemed put off that I wasn't using it as intended. She did, however, know every little detail about what was and wasn't vegan on the menu. I would return for a casual bite and a couple beers, but the parking situation is abysmal.

I had Simone as a waitress and it was her first day, she was so sweet and friendly! I explained to her that I was Vegan and she accommodated me excellently! No mistakes, no dairy or egg products hidden in my food or any mistakes like a lot of other “Veg only options restaurants” I was totally satisfied! I had the BBQ GARDEIN MEATLESS CHICKEN SALAD! Minus the Ranch!

Great vegan menu - Edit
I was looking for a low key place to go with my friend where we could each have something to eat (I am vegan, he is not), and came across this fine establishment! Our waiter was very informed, and even made sure to keep all of my meal seperated to avoid cross contamination!! Luckily my friend is a good sport and tried all of my food, and was shocked at how wonderful it was!!

I love that the Yard house has vegan options. This is a great place to go with a mixed group of eaters and we usually pick a Yard House location whenever we go out for celebrations with omnivores. However, I wish that they would clearly mark items that are vegan. Most of the Gardein menu is only vegetarian and we've been mislead several times by uneducated servers. My husband used to love getting the Gardein sliders until we found out that the bun is not vegan. Also, I believe that anything battered has egg in it, but I still have not gotten clarification on that. When I've asked in the past, nobody seems to know. They do have a new burger that is called a Vegan Burger, so I'm excited to go back and try that. I hope that they will continue to move forward in making more vegan-friendly changes. It's a fun place to go and we love the beer selection!

We've eaten here twice, with mixed results. First, it's great (& somewhat unusual in this town) to have a restaurant so overtly vegetarian friendly. However, twice we've had the manager come tell us a product was not vegan AFTER we had talked with the server, ordered, & eaten. While we appreciated her honesty & efforts on our behalf, it would have been far better if the servers were better trained about product details, even if the server simply checks with the kitchen rather than winging it. However, we really appreciate Yard House's big lineup of vegetarian dishes!

First the veggie options rock. Gardein menu? Yes, please! They have some yummy and unique dishes using Gardein products. HOWEVER, the service is horrible. HORRIBLE. I have given this place several opportunities to redeem themselves (the menu, again, is awesome) and each visit is worse than the last. So this place is good if you are mega patient and super laid back AND you have 2-3 hours to burn at lunch. SERIOUSLY, the restaurant is never full, they have ample staff, and you will be ignored and forgotten.

I am not a vegetarian but my wife is. This place has a ton of meal options for her and for me. Almost everything on the menu has an option for fake meat. The prices are extremely reasonable Monday - Friday from 3 - 6. Almost everything is half price. The Yard House is going to become a regular place to eat for my wife and I. I tried her fake Chicken fingers and I could barely tell the difference between it and real chicken. This place is set up like a very fancy sports bar. I know that sounds like an oxy moron but that's what this place is. The food and service is spectacular. The Yard House is a must go.
