An adorable cafe with amazing food! - Edit
This is by far my favorite breakfast and lunch place, everything i’ve had there is fantastic, and the menu has a lot of variety and fun options that I can’t find anywhere else. And everything there is vegan! It is absolutely a place you could bring an omnivore friend to and they would be happy. They have delicious grilled Cheese, multiple kinds of melts with vegan deli meats, and some fantastic burgers. Their breakfast foods are also delicious(pancakes are my personal favorite) and their pastries are the BEST! I recommend their frosted muffins. Absolutely try this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

Asian Fusion Portobello Burger = messy but excellent - Edit
The Asian Fusion Portobello Burger and the fudge brownie were terrific! The French Onion soup was just okay. Wish they offered the breakfast menu after 11 on weekdays.

Meh - Edit
We had to wait 45 minutes for a burrito and a tostada, and when they were served they were out of salsa and the tostada was more like a soggy tortilla. I want to support them because there should be more vegan restaurants in Bellingham, but this place could use a little improvement.

Mediocre at best - Edit
we both got soup & sandwiches this weekend and we agreed that overall it was a pretty mediocre experience and without a doubt overpriced for what it is. also, our soup was french onion and it was a disappointment that it was not served with bread & cheese on top.

Friendly staff, clean space. Salad was very good. “Miso” soup was very disappointing. Toasted bread was served lukewarm. Coffee was good.

All Vegan, All Delicious - Edit
I’ve eaten here many times and enjoyed every meal. The breakfast burrito, “cheesy” scrambled “eggs”, and waffles are excellent for breakfast. There’s always freshly baked goodies like cookies, muffins, and cake in the display case. Sandwiches are so tasty and there’s something about their basic green salad that just tastes better than other green salads.

A really nice find - Edit
I was walking through the downtown of Bellingham and thought about finding a cafe so I can access the WiFi (I don't have a SIM card yet for my phone). I happen to notice their sidewalk sign and walked off the main Street to check out out.
Read moreI was very pleasantly surprised that they were a vegan eatery. I decided to have something to eat for an early supper.
I had the Asian Fusion Mushroom burger. It was tasty.
I also had the gluten free bun. The bun was expensive and that is why they only revived a 4 star rating from me.. probably beyond their control but it still irks me that this is still a premium.
The staff were friendly and have good service.
Thanks
Pros: Friendly, Good service, Very pleasant atmosphere
Cons: A tad on the expensive side for me, The gluten free bun was an extra 3.50$

Really? $18 for a pastry and a small burrito? - Edit
I really can’t believe what we were served yesterday as we drove north. The menu looked so promising when we were planning a trip through Bellingham.
Read moreThe breakfast burrito was sad. Filled with beans that tasted like they were from a can, poor quality green (and only green) bell peppers, and wrapped together pretty poorly. #sadburrito
Then we got cinnamon roll, and that had some (but not much) redemption but was super dry and a mega sugar bomb, but to be expected, after all it’s a cinnamon roll…
Overall, I would not go back. Really overpriced for what you get and overall not tasty.
Totally tasted like something you can easily make at home.
Pros: Vegan!
Cons: Expensive, Poor quality

We ordered Cajun Style Blackened Fysh Sandwich, Chili soup, Reuben with salad and coffee with vegan creamer. Everything was delicious but Reuben could have used a lot more sauerkraut.

Good sandwich and salad dressing! I was starving and got a cream cheese bagel too, but it's just a toasted bagel and cup of cream cheese like you'd make at home. They're very nice and let me choose from both breakfast/lunch since I was here right at transition time @11am! I'd def come back

This place has it all! - Edit
Great breakfast and comfort food options, but also lots of hearty salads and veggies. Have eaten here a few times and also just picked up a pastry or slice of cake to go once or twice. Love all their sandwiches and their cakes never disappoint! Usually only one person working the counter so there can be a wait (even for coffee) if you come at busy times.

Great place! - Edit
Came to Bellingham for the first time and it’s been difficult finding vegan options while on the road. This place was a fantastic find. So many options on the menu and gluten free as well. They made ordering extremely easy. Prices are what they would be at a big chain restaurant for two people and the plus is that this is all vegan! I highly recommend this to anyone vegan and non vegan.

Perfect Breakfast Spot - Edit
Finding good vegan breakfast can be hard. Wild Oat heard the wails of sad vegans everywhere presiding over yet another bowl of watery, overpriced oatmeal and took action. The menu is varied and Ben, the cook, cooks up everything masterfully. All the baked goods are made from scratch by the owner and they are divine. Muffins are moist and fluffy. Scones have that perfect crunch on the outside with a soft center. Great selection of teas. Good coffee. Hot cocoa with vegan whip! What more could you ask for?

THE BEST all-vegan restaurant in Bellingham. Limited breakfast with late opening (9am). Breakfast and lunch only. - Edit
Excellent vegan comfort food - as well as some healthy options too.😄Our group of three each tried something different (french dip, reuben, Impossible Burger, salad) and we were all very happy with our choices. Highly recommended. You don't need to be vegan to enjoy this food.

Best for Baked Goods - Edit
The Wild Oat has struggled with consistency with their hours, staff, menu items and food quality. Some items, like the French dip, can be incredible if made well. And the service ranges from excellent to haphazard depending on the servers and time of day.
Read moreWhat really shines is their baked treats. Cakes, pies, muffins and cookies are consistently delicious. With the only vegan whipped cream in Bellingham, WO serves as one of the best espresso joints n the city for vegans.
The restaurant is small and tables are close together, more if an issue during the pandemic. Great art on the walls.
Downtown location is very convenient and parking is usually available outside of busy times. Saturdays being the worst.
Pros: Cakes, Cookies, Muffins
Cons: Service

Just as good as at home - Edit
Small cafe in the middle of Bellingham. About ten tables inside. Food is similar to what you would make at home, breakfast burritos and sandwiches. Both times we stopped in they were out of the wraps for a breakfast burrito, so we had to settle for burritos that were day-old, heated in the back. Even that took ten minutes.

Super friendly staff and really yummy food. My partner and I always want to eat different kinds of things, but this completely satisfied us both. Portobello burger is the best I’ve had in years! We didn’t get any pastries, but they looked amazing, too. Will definitely come back!
