FANTASTIC!!!! - Edit
Probably my favourite of many vegan options in Cusco.
Read moreCame here twice and tried a few different dishes, all of which had great flavour, generous portions, and a healthy amount of veg!
Tofu salad with curry sauce (great crispy tofu, delicious sauce), crispy falafel, beautiful Caribbean curry (full of veg with fruity nutty flavours), and tacu tacu (nice and beany, with plantain) Mains were approx 15-25 soles for pretty generous portions
The chocolate brownie alone makes it worth a visit it is so rich and delicious!!
Juices are enormous, with beautiful variety of flavours. Chai tea is also pretty good, and great value compared to other places
Cute venue too!!
Pros: Tasty, healthy food, Good value, Juices!!

Quiet little spot for us to chill at and have the best curries we have had in quite some time. The Caribbean was best by far the pack leader... we read some Osho tarot cards after the meal which actually guided us for the following two days quite effectively. The kinda place you feel the universe found for you to leave you content and pleased that good places like this exist.

nice burgers - Edit
We enjoyed the burgers and compared to other places in Cusco $ is right, but we just came from Puno today where $ and $$ covert into a lower price in soles than here in Cusco.

Had things to do on the tables such as drawing or tarot which I liked a lot. The burger was so so good I’m hoping to go back again later.

Nice chilled spot for vegan sustenance - Edit
I've been here a couple of times whilst I was here (still here and will no doubt go back). It's a nice little place - very relaxed and very nice food. I'd highly recommend one of their vegan lassis - full of goodness and in some ways a meal in itself. Burgers and sandwiches are tasty too. Good quality but less expensive places in the area.

Tasty curries - Edit
We split a red and yellow curry, both of which were incredible and came with a good portion size. Haven't tasted a Carribbean style flavouring done that well before.

Right name for a place every vegan should pilgrimage towards - Edit
I never get a 2nd dish to go from anywhere. Never in my life. Ever. Until now. Can't believe this is so insanely cheap for what is easily on par with Michelin starred spots. You have to walk up an ancient staircase/street to reach it and the staff greeted me so warmly you would have thought me a regular if you had witnessed it. Started with the AK47 and got the equally as amazing sounding and smelling Kush to go. Hard time not eating it right now ad opposed to my hike tomorrow.

have the burger! - Edit
Super cosy place. While you wait for the food you can color, play cards or pet the house cat. Also you get a blanket for the Cusco cold.
Read moreHad the special of the day, dhal which was tasty but a bit bland. Came with a side salad with a super delish "honey"mustard (don't worry, it's vegan!) dressing.
The juices are huge and super good.
My friend had a burger that was insane! Came with ciabatta bread and soooo much flavor. Also the tofu craving was stilled. Will hopefully return in a few days again after the inka trail!

Great burger! - Edit
Having had a wonderful experience at Prasada, I was interested in trying out the Vegan Temple by the same owner. I was not disappointed! The menu was different from Prasada, but there were equally inventive burgers. I had one with tofu (in addition to the lentil patty), avocado, roasted peppers, and chimichuri sauce. Yum! I also had a huge glass of tasty pinapple, orange and coconut juice.
Read moreThe place has a spiritual feel, but in a really inviting way, not off-putting if you're like me not very spiritual yourself . I was happily colouring a mandala while my food was being prepared. The atmosphere was so relaxed that the tension headache I had arrived with was gone when I left.

Lovely place and generally excellent all round. The curries are wonderful, as are the brownies! For me, some of the burgers have too much oil.

The Vegan Temple is a warm and friendly little spot near the top of Choquechaka. (In case you're having trouble finding it, it's in the same building as 425 Choquechaka, but its entrance is a few steps downhill from the "425" address sign on the building.)
Read moreThe focus here is healthy, home-style cooking, with a mix of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and Asian-inspired dishes. There are giant lassis (made with vegan yogurt) and desserts (the brownie was tasty and not overly sweet).
There are also a few shelves of packaged vegan health foods and other items for sale.
Enjoy!
