Take a Trip to The Tin Thistle - Edit
I was driving through North Bend with my mother. We stopped in for lunch. We were both very impressed with all the food. The special sweet potato mango chutney soup had great flavor and a nice level of spiciness. The potato salad that came with my BBQ Village Burger tasted great. The burger was crispy on the outside with nice texture inside. The pie tasted great. It had flax in the crust. It was one of the best pie crusts I've ever tasted. I would recommend going to North Bend just to eat here.

I got the barbecue burger, which was freshly made in house from whole food ingredients; for a side, I selected a simple salad (it's too easy to consume only overly rich food when traveling). I also enjoyed a delicious smoothie. The people there are very friendly.

Such a great treat to discover this really, really great vegan restaurant. We were brand new vegans and the quality of the food, the beautiful presentation, the taste... WOW. This place could really help a folks who are curious about veganism or vegetarianism learn just how tasty WFPB living can be. The staff was wonderful, the atmosphere funky, classy, fun, comfortable. Can't wait to head north and visit again. Number 1 in my book!

We were very happy to find this place while on vacation. Finding vegan food while traveling is always a gamble, but The Tin Thistle has excellent food for lunch. We only wish they were open for dinner.

Great cafe on Oregon coast - Edit
Found this spot on HC while camping. Wonderful Hawaiian burger with pineapple, mango chutney and burger made with walnuts! Homemade lemonade and sweet potato fries too. The owner and staff were super friendly and they have a nice little outdoor patio. Great food and experience!

We stopped here for an excellent lunch. The choice of vegan food was outstanding. The BBQ burger was by far the best vegan burger I have ever tasted. Oats,walnuts,onions and spices for the burger and homemade BBQ sauce grilled onions and mushrooms to top it off.

Great recovery from road trip eating - Edit
Popped in here on a road trip after a couple of days of garbage eating. We shared a large fiesta bowl, spicy corn chowder (soup of the day), and a piece of marionberry pie. All good, fresh, left feeling nourished. Vibe is: order at the counter and they bring it to you (or order to go). Not sure what is “Celtic themed” about it but that’s fine! Nice sized tables and chairs, street parking.

I love this place! The food is so delicious, and I love that they are fully vegan. The service is excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Tin Thistle has a great atmosphere and beautiful outdoor patio for dining. I ate here twice while I was visiting North Bend, OR. I brought my Omnivore friends and family here to eat with me, and they loved it! They also have a great selection of creamy vegan sauces including mayo and tzatziki. I will definitely eat here again next time I'm in the area.

Amazingly delicious vegan food in a nicely decorated cafe style restaurant on the main street. The food is tasty, and I have no doubt that it would please vegetarians/vegans and omnivores alike because of the excellent, flavorful dishes and seasonal touches. The service prompt and friendly: this restaurant was a remarkable and lucky find for us and not to be missed!

My husband and I had the pleasure of trying out the Tin Thistle Garden Cafe earlier this week. After ordering our food, we went to the garden at the back side of the restaurant to eat. It was lovely, a pleasant place to relax.

I will definitely return to try more on their menu.

I love this place! I eat here as many times as possible while visiting my sister. Everything is fabulous - especially the burgers & sweet fries. I love their desserts - the cookies are awesome & the cranberry blackberry pie was amazing! Also the pasty - the crust is wonderful. The people who work their couldn’t be nicer. The place is very clean & cheerful. Wish I lived closer - I would eat here all the time!!! Can’t wait for next visit.

This was my first stop for my first eat out meal after moving here. The staff were so friendly, and the food was delicious. It was really nice knowing I didn't have to clarify what they cooked what with or in, that wasn't vrg/vegan. It's got a really relaxing vibe and the garden was secluded and cozy. This area needs more places like this!!!!

So their patio was perfect for my little guy to walk around and explore and play with his toys while I drank some coffee and waited for my food.
Once the food arrived I was a little hesitant about their nut burger but it was ah-mazing! I had a lettuce wrap as they did not have gluten free buns.
Ordered a blackberry smoothie to go, de-lish. And grabbed 3 different pie slices on my way out that I have yet to try but should help for the rest of my trip today.
Very happy with everything! Bonus: Super cozy interior and patio.

Healthy vegan home cooking! - Edit
Delicious healthy vegan comfort food! I'm not a big veggie burger gal but theirs was so delicious and I'd totally order it again. Their menu is pretty small but there's something for everyone and the pie with ice cream after was a perfect finish, we had a 5 hour drive ahead of us after our meal and left feeling energized and not at all groggy. Road trippers should stop here!!!
