So far so good - Edit
I was in CT for work and knew I'd be stuck at the airport for a while, so I decided to grab some takeout. The owner served me. I got a tofu bahn mi and a snickerdoodle cookie. Both were tasty, and the fried kale chips were a really nice suprise...wish I'd known they were there before I let it sit for a couple of hours, but still good. I look forward to swinging by again when I'm there.

Decent - Edit
My boyfriend got the French onion burger, I got the tempeh Reuben, and we got a hibiscus iced tea and chocolate chip cookie to share. Food was good but I’ve had much better Reubens (that’s always my go-to). Burger was good! Nice, healthy ingredients, but found the Reuben and cookie to be lacking in flavor.

Love their bread - Edit
Stumbled upon this place when we were looking for somewhere to eat in Fairfield.
Read moreWe got the grilled tempeh reuben, buffalo jackfruit grilled cheese, seitan BBQ pesto griller (by mistake), PB&J smoothie, and the cherry bomb smoothie.
First of all, the bread they use is SO good. Chewy, crispy, and really delicious. The grilled tempeh reuben was my favorite, and I can't wait to go back to eat it again.
The buffalo jackfruit grilled cheese was really good, and their homemade blue cheese dressing was fantastic.
We ordered a different sandwich but got the seitan BBQ pesto griller instead, but figured we'd try it instead of sending it back. This was our least favorite. The bread wasn't as good as the other 2, and all of the components on the sandwich didn't go well together. BBQ seitan, pesto, and caramelized onions (like French onion soup) were a bizarre combination.
Disappointing that all of the sandwiches didn't come with a side of any sort.
The smoothies were good, but were lacking body. Needed a bit more natural sweetness, either from bananas or dates or something.
Still highly recommend!
Pros: All vegan, Tasty food
Cons: Pricy

Never a let down! - Edit
I’m never disappointed when I come to eat here. The food is always fresh and full of flavor. First time trying the Skinny Buddha Bowl and definitely will have it again! Also, the nachos are one of my favorites! Both are worth a try.

Solid spot - Edit
This is the closest Connecticut vegan spot near me (Stamford). I had the breakfast bagel and the banh mi. Unfortunately, the latter, and the kale chips that came with it, were a salt bomb. The sandwich was tasty enough to eat, but the chips were inedible IMO. The breakfast sandwich was so delicious that it gives me enough confidence to take another trip to try other menu items

Super staff, good basic food. - Edit
We only had about 10 minutes to order and get a meal. But the staff was very accommodating. We had the Reuben sandwiches and they were really good. We also bought muffins for the morning which were also really good. The kale salad was big enough and sloshing in dressing. I’m not a huge dressing person.

Nice little vegan cafe - Edit
Had the Seitan Bagel Sandwich: maple-mustard marinated seitan, grilled tofu, chive cashew spread, and tarragon mayo. Served with fresh fruit.
Read moreGood breakfast sandwich. A little sweet (is this a Conn thing? Vegan food in general I got while visiting was sweet). Everything but the bagel looked made in-house. Always a good sign.
Pros: 100 % vegan, friendly staff.

Delicious Vegan Eats - Edit
We stopped here on our way home from a long road trip. Loved finding an all vegan place off I 95! We got the Fresh Veggie wrap, Tomato-Basil Avocado Toast and a side of fries and everything was excellent. The basil on the avocado toast was so good. Had indoor and outdoor seating, good prices and clean restrooms. Will definitely be back.

Perfect stop - Edit
We visited on our way home from vacation and this was the perfect stop for some filling and delicious sandwiches. We tried both the seitan griller and the tofu bahn mi. The griller was tasty but the bahn mi stole the show. Definitely plan to stop here anytime we are in the area!

Awesome options breakfast, lunch, dinner - Edit
Love going to the Stand when I am in the area. I always order multiple items from the menu to taste a bit of a few things. Their Seitan Breakfast sandwich is a real winner! Cute interior with exposed brick walls and friendly staff. A few cafe tables outside are also very inviting. My only critique would be (since I live 35 minutes away) is that not all the food travels well, and is best consumed fresh

Nice menu, good food! - Edit
I enjoyed everything I had from The Stand. The inside is pleasant with a nice little seating area. The peanut butter and jelly smoothie was delicious, as was the meatball parm. The sub was big enough for two meals. The cheezy bread was great! I was really excited to see that on the menu. It tasted pretty much exactly as I remember cow’s milk cheezy bread. The menu is pretty big, so there’s probably something for everyone, even non-vegans.

Cute spot - Edit
The restaurant itself is very cute, however very little seating. We tried the pest bbq sandwich and the mac and cheese, both of which were decent. The mac was our favorite, nice flavor and loved the added veggies. The sandwich was only ok, the onions and sauce made it a little too sweet for us. Loved how many options there were, including vegan and GF desserts. The cold brew coffee was absolutely horrible, so steer away from that! Otherwise, definitely worth checking this place out.

Hidden gem - Edit
I have had multiple items here from food to smoothies. All were delicious and fresh. Barely knew this place existed as a vegan cafe. My only gripe is the hours. Expand your hours, do some marketing and may get more customers. Also they had one person working sunday am. People kept coming in and she had to do everything which led to a little longer wait than normal.

New menu is great! - Edit
The new menu here is fantastic - everything we've had so far has been delicious. My personal favorites are the broccoli tofu quiche and the sweet-tart smoothie. My husband loves the tempeh reuben and the chickpea wrap. Baked goodies are also yummy (and there are a few gluten free options as well). I just wish they were open at least one evening so we could eat there more often!
