Bitter taste

I had a really bad experience yesterday when my partner took me out for dinner at The Stable in Kew Bridge. What was supposed to be a treat left me with a bitter taste and I don't think I will set foot there ever again.
We arrived 8ish pm, and as we got to the door nobody came to greet us, even though the waitress made eye contact a few times. My partner is a big bearded black man! I decided to go to the counter and ask if we could get a table and I did ask for a specific one by the window, the fact that it was still dirty, we had no problem waiting for them to clear it up. We sat down and while we were looking at the menu, three white people arrived at the door and the waitress jumped to greet them, at this point my partner asked if I had noticed the difference the people were treated when they arrived. I saw nothing there, just thought it was a coincidence, she was more alert when they arrived but without looking back to us she proceeded to take their order! I couldn't believe my eyes so I stood up and asked her politely if she could take our order first since we had arrived before and it had been already rather slow till that point.
She didn't apologise and just asked if it was ok if somebody else could attend our table, I couldn't see another person attending that part of the restaurant even when we arrived. She then went back to the other table and clearly one of the clients asked her if all was good then she made a comment looking to us and all of them cracked up laughing! I felt so humiliated and could not see myself swallowing any food.
It was clear she didn't want our custom and would rather we weren't there. My partner was accepting of what was obviously an ignorant and bigoted attitude. I was not. So we left. This is 2018 and that experience was both unacceptable and insulting. So I would warn anyone of colour to avoid this establishment.
