Not a great place for big hunger - Edit
This place seemed so great so I guess I might have took the wrong order… my budda Bowl was pretty small, very unseasoned and didn’t satisfy me at all. The vegan waffles sounded pretty great as well as the raw cakes. Maybe i should have stuck to one of the sweet options instead…

Good food but expensive and small portions - Edit
Nice place to sit, very central. Portions are too small. Expensive. Good healthy food. I liked the soup. Seats could use cushion's.

Great service but lackluster food - Edit
I ended up eating here twice (because the other place I wanted to eat at was closed) on an overnight trip to Brussels, and both times I had the same experience: lovely and super helpful staff, but the food was not worth the price. I am still super thankful to have an opportunity to enjoy Belgium food as a vegan/Celiac, but I was hoping for more with the cost of the items. The sandwich was bland, the beer was AMAZING (especially to me as someone who rarely drinks), and the waffle was also meh (maybe because it's sugar free haha). Overall, I would come here once to have a drink and maybe try an appetizer, but just eat here knowing that you're paying for the overall experience.

Decent Food–Mostly Presentation - Edit
Very rustic and quaint restaurant that specializes in sandwiches, soups, and smaller grain bowls. The cute drawstring presentation is present in most of their dishes, which are put on charcuterie boards and other country-designed plates. The food itself was okay, as there wasn’t a lot of transformation of the ingredients and many of them were just kinda put on top of one another.

Nice cosy meal on a rainy day - Edit
I’m traveling with my friend and this Cafe/Restaurant suit our needs! We were so hungry but besides being simple and light, everything together fill us up. People are nice. The environment its great and the food very tasteful. The only bad thing its that the salty waffle its to expensive for the size. I definitely recommend the Beet Falafel!

Tasty quick meal - Edit
Came here wanting something light which was good since the menu seemed slightly overpriced. We had the soup which was all we wanted and was the cheapest (€5). It came with a slice of bread, slightly stingy slice. The soup itself tasted really good and was a generous portion. Filled us up for the rest of the evening!

Second time here and was as good as I remembered. Tonight - beetroot vegetable soup with sesame falafel. I may be the only vegan not to love beets but I loved this soup!

Waffle was really disappointing... - Edit
I just wanted a vegan waffle and I just left disappointed... so dry. Expensive. Go to Veganwaf (also GF). it's literally 2 minutes away. So much better for waffles. Cheaper too (nearly 50% cheaper!!)

Bad food - Edit
I've eaten here twice and I found the food almost inedible both times. The juices are very nice though. I've tried the vegan waffle, raw falafel, soup and a chocolate tart and the texture was dreadful in each case. The soup was edible, but the falafel felt like eating tasteless sand and the waffle was really tough and chewy. A staff member noticed that we didn't eat the food the first time we went and asked if we enjoyed it. I explained it wasn't to our taste and he said others had complained and asked for alternative recipe ideas. I don't think it's appropriate for a restaurant to charge for food they know tastes bad and then ask customers to suggest alternatives. It's brilliant to find vegan options so close to the tourism centre and we'll go back for juice and beer, but I'm afraid to try the for again. It's quite expensive, which reflects the location, but definitely not the experience.

Ok - Edit
I went for the gluten free waffle but to be honest, I have tasted better gluten free Belgian waffles in Gran Canaria, Spain. I didn't even finish it. Just not my taste. There were several options for milk when I asked for a coffee latte, I chose soy but the soy milk wasn't to my taste either. All in all a nice place, central, but I just wasn't lucky with my choices.
