Delicious - Edit
Lovely venue on a sunny Saturday, plenty of outdoor seating near the amphitheatre where live music was playing. Delicious food, heaps of veg and gluten free options, and vegan choices too. Real food. Keen to try the gf bread next time.

Great for a sunday drive - Edit
The perfect place to go for lunch while driving through the Port Hills. There are multiple gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. Pictured are the gf vegan pancakes. Nice coffees here too as well as a well stocked cabinet ready for takeaways!

Such a cool place and food looked amazing - wasn’t hungry but saw lots go out and it looked great… All the girls were super friendly and the options are easy to tell if it’s vegan or vegetarian. Not expensive, and the coffee was good

Yummy but pricey - Edit
Good vegan options. Nice outside seating area. Can be very busy on the weekends, so don't be in a rush. We had a polenta stack with roasted veg and a slice of tofu. It was very good. The best thing was the chocolate peanut butter cup we got. It was delicious. The side salad was a bland potato salad, not worth the extra cost.

Great food, but pricey - Edit
This place has a lot of tasty vegan options, but mostly over-priced. If you're ok with that, then it's a great place to eat. They often have a decent range of cabinet and menu items. It can get pretty cramped indoors but if it's a nice day there's a lot of communal space outside.
Read moreService can be pretty average at times and it can take a while for the food to arrive (even when it's not that busy), but overall it's probably the best option in Lyttleton.
Pros: Lot's of vegan options, Nice vibe with lots of outdoor seating options, Generally yummy food
Cons: Expensive for what you get, Service can be hit and miss, It sometimes takes ages to get your order

Funky Atmosphere, Amazeball Food. We had the Zen Burger with Fries and The Corn Fritters, the Nutty Nutter Peanut Butter Smoothie (could of been bigger) but delicious and the Ginger Cashew slice was banging. Highly recommend.

Yummy Tacos - Edit
The Banana Blossom 'Fish Tacos' were on the specials menu and were so similar to the real deal. The sauce and flavours were great. The batter was just a little oily for my liking but defiantly can not fault the service and vibes in the shroom room. There are so many options i would highly recommend!

When the special is the most special - Edit
Omg guys. This cafe has won my heart. Nestled in the cutest little hamlet, this day the special was a taco loaded with magical flavour and a perfectly tempura batter banana blossom. Couldn’t be better. My hun got the Bless Up and the house made baked beans were yyuuuuuummmmm.

Expensive cafe with some vegan options - Edit
Very expensive for what you get, paid $18 for three tiny pikelets with banana and syrup. Partner thought his meal was also pretty average and very overpriced. Coffee was OK but nothing to write home about. Can be very difficult to get a park esp on market days. Honestly there is much better available in Chch for the price.

Dog-friendly café (at least for the outdoor seating) in gorgeous Lyttelton, with great coffee. The food can be hit or miss though - the fries and chocolate cake were great, but the vegan moussaka (in the cabinet) was undercooked.

Absolutely loved this little gem of a place. I had the peace plate which had a delicious salad along with falafels and mini hash browns, hummus and pesto. So yum! Serving sizes are great and prices are also very reasonable! Fresh organic juices available also!
