Unique Doughnut Options - Edit
This tiny little spot was conveniently next to our hostel, so we stopped in for a quick breakfast. We grabbed some cappuccinos and then two doughnuts. There were a ton of vegan options and I chose the Vegan Dub, which was chocolate coated and filled with creamy vanilla custard. It was amazing! The sourdough base was like nothing I'd ever had before, making them not sickeningly sweet like average American doughnuts, but still being rich enough to feel decadent.

Yum - Edit
Thought these were quite tasty. The shop had a cool vibe and places to sit. Ten vegan options when I was there including a pride donut which was awesome. Plant based milks available for coffee.

Convenient breakfast - Edit
Went here two mornings in a row and was pleased to find so many vegan choices. Tries the vegan dub and chocolate peanut butter. I liked how they were real, traditional donuts that had fillings inside, but they were both just pretty good, not amazing. Overall I recommend trying them out for a quick, cheap breakfast, especially if you like donuts, but wouldn’t go in expecting anything magical.

So many vegan donuts! - Edit
I'd heard good things about The Rolling Donut so decided to give it a try on my next visit to Dublin. When I arrived, I was shocked at the number of vegan options they had - about 6-8 donuts. While this was amazing to see, it only made my decision that much harder and it was difficult to walk away without buying them all. The Dub donut is personally my favourite, but the peanut butter filled donut and the vanilla and pistachio are both amazing too! The prices are decent for the quality of the donuts and I would highly recommend! Queues can be pretty long around lunch time but trust me, it's so worth it.

Yummy - Edit
A wonderful place with tasty donuts.I tried two of their vegan donuts - the chocolate and the walnut one. The first one was with a vanilla filling, really really nice. The walnut one was with a caramel topping without a filling - kinda too sweet for my taste, but still delicious.

Yumm - Edit
I came across the store at 9.30 PM and there wasn’t much to choose from. Totally understandable! Come earlier if you want a variety of vegan donuts! I could choose between the pistachio with vanilla glaze, or the coffee glaze. And I don’t like coffee - but the pistachio was amazing! I wish I came around earlier! 🍩

Good selection of vegan donuts - Edit
They offer a very good selection of vegan donuts. We tried the vanilla glazed one and the custard-filled chocolate one. Both were yummy and the dough was fresh.

Okay - Edit
Decent choice of vegan donuts, I went for a classic jam one and it was pretty average. My friend was recommended the (non vegan) bestseller, the red velvet and was thoroughly disappointed. Expensive for what it is.

It's good - Edit
The space is not vegan as in the application Happy Cown suggested. The variety of vegan donuts is reasonable.

Reasonable selection of vegan doughnuts but tasteless dough - Edit
I've tried the vegan doughnuts in this place (and the branch at top of Grafton St.) a few times now and as the previous review rightly points out, the main problem is that the dough used is very tasteless, just like a cheap dense foamy bread effort.
Read moreThe toppings are mostly fine, although the Coffee & Walnut only had the very faintest coffee flavour, if any.
For more taste, it might be worth getting one of the filled doughnuts. I tried the "Dub" with a custard filling and it was pretty good.
I think they should find some way to improve the taste and texture of the vegan dough used.
For what you get, it's a little expensive - if you're just looking for some egg-free, vegetarian (but not vegan) doughnuts, you can get 5 small jam ones in Tesco for half the price of a single doughnut here, and with more taste.
Having said that, they did have 6 or 7 different vegan options in the O'Connell street branch last time I was there so it's a good to have a few choices.
Pros: Reasonable selection of egg-free/vegan doughnuts, Central locations
Cons: Vegan doughnut dough tasteless, Relatively expensive for what you get

Mixed opinion - Edit
The vegan donut is pleasant to eat but only thanks to the topping above and the cream inside. The donut bread is dull, tasteless. I bought three vegan donuts by curiosity and gluttony but I will not do it again.

Great selection of vegan donuts available from the Rolling donut. Any time I've been I've been lucky to go at a time where they haven't sold out of any vegan treats. Good locations

so many choices!!!! - Edit
We had a few non vegan items, and then tried most vegan ones including : cinnamon & sugar, chocolate glazed, coffee, raspberry, and (.... two others can't remember the flavor 😜) EVERYTHING was good! Also, they're not cakey-donut-shaped desserts like some restaurants try and pass off as donuts. They're actual yeast donuts & super yummy! We even went back for some to-go to take on the plane ride home 😁.

Searching for donuts - Edit
I had been looking for a vegan donut for months and they don’t have them where I live. This place is two blocks over from my hostel and I over did it and ordered two. I got the lemon poppy seed and the chocolate coconut. They were both delicious. I recommend only eating one to start 🤣. I’ll be going back tomorrow to try more!
