Local coffee shop with a variety of plant milks available, such as oat, soy, almond, and coconut. Has vegan zucchini bread and house-made granola bars. Open Mon-Sat 7:00am-6:00pm.
Closed Sun.
Honestly it's cute inside and it seems like they're super community oriented but the coffee is super bitter, the baked goods are ok, the service is terrible. It's like when people do a mean parody of baristas. It wasn't even busy and there were loads of people working and a simple iced coffee order was throwing them for a loop just brutal to watch if you've ever worked in the service industry.
Nice cozy atmosphere, with plenty of seating - Edit
I loved the vegan banana bread. They also had soy milk, almond milk, and oatmilk. There's also lots of seating which is nice when you need a place to study or work. 😊
The Red Cat at Pepper Place is a rather large coffee shop and has a few vegan food options (veggie wrap, avocado toast, baked goods). The coffee is popular in Birmingham, but not my favorite (try June or Frothy Monkey). The vegan banana bread is quite good.
