Vegan nachos in Edale! - Edit
Very happy to find vegan nachos on the menu after a long hike. Nothing too special but fine for what we were looking for. Beware: they’re quite spicy. They also had one or two vegan options for dinner.

Served us meat and dairy - Edit
Went to this place after a walk because it had a veggie/vegan menu online. When we arrived the options had reduced somewhat, but we still ordered a vegan pie and a vegan burger. The food was delivered and announced as the options we ordered, but it seems there was a mix up, and we only realised after taking a few bites that we'd been served a cheese pie and a beef and bacon burger. The staff were kind, super apologetic and gave us a refund, but I couldn't recommend this place to veggies or vegans after that experience😒

Cons: Served us two non vegan meals by accident

Vegan food in Edale - Edit
If you are staying in Edale or beginning/ending a hike here and want somewhere to walk for food the Rambler is one of the only options. Over a couple of days I tried the vegan chilli nachos (very good), vegan chilli & rice (average) and the vegan lentil burger (average). Granted the food options are not the best, especially with the currently reduced menu, but it’s good to know about as the nearest alternative is over an hour walk.

Cons: Limited choices
