Delicious food but very expensive - Edit
This is my second time here and I got this grilled Cesar salad for the second time because it was that amazing! It packs a bunch of flavor! My partner got the meatball hoagie. Everything was yummy, but we wished we could’ve tried more things. The prices seem quite high, especially for the portions. They have tons of baked goods and cold bar options. Highly recommend if you’re willing to pay a bit more. It’s with mentioning that I’m not from this area so I don’t know if these prices are more tricks here.

Great vegan food but pricy - Edit
We were a party of three and had the Falafel Bowl, "Sushi" Bowl and Lasagna. The dishes were all very tasty and the portions were very large. We also got their chocolate cranberry tart, which was excellent and large.
Read moreMy only complaint? We got two pint bottles of their own bottled ice tea and they were $8.75 each. With tax and tip that's over $11 each. Ask for ice tap water if you're not interested in paying that much for unsweetened ice tea. They're happy to give it to you.

I am happy to be editing this review! Ever since Pureganic opened in their new location, we have been very pleased with their portion size and variety of food. We’ve gone several times since they’ve been in their new space, and have really enjoyed ourselves. Last night we went to try out some of the different bowls that they offer, we got the Ramen bowl, sushi, bowl, and a harvest bowl. Followed by dessert, which was a pecan tart and cappuccinos. They also have a great selection of wines to choose from.

Prior review
We've tried several times to eat at Pureganic, hoping for the best. The portions are on the smaller size and we would try to tell ourselves, PAY MORE for quality ingredients and Eat Less - however. we felt like we could prepare similar food at home for much less. Also the abundance of plastic products is disheartening- we were even served our DINE-IN items in a plastic clam shell. The last time we stopped in was just for dessert, and we grabbed a pack of the coconut truffles- they looked delicious, but then the taste left much to be desired. It was too bad- we shared them with our Non-Veg friends and it "confirmed" in their mind that vegan food has "no taste" - which we all know is not true!! Unfortunately, we have decided that was going to be our last attempt at eating there.

Its Saturday 1:00 right now and Happy Cow app says they’re open but they’re not. Website says it’s a kosher restaurant, closed from Sundown Friday until Sunday. It would be great if Happy Cow includes that info. Hope to try it another time, it looks great!

Healthy and delicious - Edit
Such a perfect place to explore to try some healthy and delicious food that also happens to be vegan, gluten free, and made from natural ingredients. The food is minimally processed and still tastes like delicious processed food.

We are on whole food plant based oil free diet and had given up on restaurants. However Pureganic was amazingly whole food, plant based and even made all of the dishes with no oil or fats! Will be back we saw people who came here from all over. It’s Kosher and just amazing!

Super nice staff! Clean gluten free food - Edit
The people there are so nice. Incredible to have such nice clean vegan and gluten free options. The food is really good but the slightest bit bland in my opinion. Not terribly, but very simple. Would eat here again though! A little higher prices but I don’t mind that too much

Highly recommend. It’s going to set you back a few bucks, but that’s what good organic food costs. Ignore the 1 star review. I highly doubt that individual is vegan.

Great Vegan Food and its Gluten Free! - Edit
As a long time Vegan, its been tough to find a place that serves Vegan that is not just a salad or veggies. This place is organic, vegan, gluten free and serves an amazing variety of really delicious fresh meals. It's not cheap, but considering the quality, variety and flavor of the foods and drinks it is well worth it. I am so glad we discovered this place and will be back often.

One of the worst vegan restaurants I've been to. - Edit
I can't comment on the entirety of the menu, but I ordered multiple breakfast options and all of them were dry and bland. The French toast looked like store bought bread barely dipped in a tasteless custard. The pancakes were undercooked. The tofu scramble tasted like plain tofu with a dash of turmeric for color. Maple "sausage" tasted like bread. It's almost like the restaurant hasn't heard of spices. The worst part, it's wildly overpriced for the portion sizes and lack of effort put into the dishes. Healthy food can taste good, this doesn't. The only positive point is that the fruit was fresh and ripe.

fresh and healthy - Edit
The food here is always super fresh and delicious. Everything we've tried from the salad bar has been great. I especially like the pesto zucchini noodles. The desserts are great; we've tried almost all of them and they rocked my world. The buffalo cauliflower is probably my favorite ever and I've eaten a ton of buffalo cauliflower in my day. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and can easily identify the few non-vegan items. (there's a non-vegan spinach pie and maybe a few desserts? I don't understand why.)
Read moreI've done their juice cleanses several times. The owner explained the whole thing to me and packed it all up in a cooler. I was really impressed with it. I set alarms on my phone to tell me when to drink each juice, and that worked out really well. Just when I would start to feel hungry, it was time for another juice. It was not at all torturous like I had been afraid of!
I know it's organic food, but it's definitely pricey considering it's counter service. I don't think we've ever paid less than $40 for lunch for two! However, we always walk away feeling satisfied and healthy.
Pros: Fresh and organic, Friendly staff, Amazing desserts
Cons: plastic

Delicious and vegan - Edit
So, Rye, NY, huh? Not really a mecca for vegan delights, right? Yeah, you walk around and you smell people/ restaurants cooking meat and seafood right in the same area you're going to find this place - Pureganic. Then you find it, and you walk in, and you're so happy.
Read moreYou see the coolers filled with pre-packaged vegan desserts and food items. You see kale chips. You see vegan gluten-free cookies and breads. You see the counter and the daily salad offerings that are overflowing with too many choices for your mouth or your wallet to handle. But, you don't care, you order to your heart's delight anyhow. And you're happy, really happy.
The food here doesn't make you worry about anything. It's gluten free and vegan. A couple items have soy, but other than that, you're good. Nuts, yes, seeds, yes, but.... who cares. That's the good stuff.
The desserts are alright, but they are definitely not dry like most vegan gluten-free stuff. The food has amazing flavor. The biggest and really only drawback (besides location) is the price. It's organic and all, so, yes, expect high prices.
Pros: Vegan raw food, Gluten free everything, So many choices

Majority of the food is gluten free vegan - Edit
The majority of the food is gluten free vegan with the exception of the spanikopita, which is non vegan and not gluten free. They do have a vegan option though, which is ok. I have been a customer since it was Andy’s Pure Foods and it has consistently been decent quality but overpriced. Their coffee is mediocre and the food is a little bland. I occasionally stop here when I need to grab something quick and healthy. Their containers are not environmentally friendly. I wish that they chose biodegradable options for take out containers.
