No more gluten free - Edit
Rather upset when I went for lunch today that I was informed gluten free (cooked separately) is no longer an option. It’s been a while since I’ve gotten the fish from there but the person working the desk kindly informed me that they no longer do gf because they got too busy. Used to be one of my favourite places and rather upset me and my other allergy friends have to take it off the list

Delicious!! - Edit
Fish and chips was always a favourite of mine and I had been missing that 'fishy' flavour so when I heard of No Catch, I had to try it out. It did not disappoint! The taste and texture of the fish was lovely, as were my mushy peas!

The best vegan fish and chips! - Edit
This is a really great place right on the seafront. We tried the vegan cod and the battered sausages, it was all really good but the cod was the best vegan fish we've tried. The restaurant is really clean and welcoming inside. We'll definitely return!

Unbeatable vegan fish and chips - Edit
This place is incredible! The tofish and chips is fresh, tasty with right edge of indulgent! Food is served quickly, with the addition of curry sauce (must try) and mushy pies plus all of the usual chip shop offer - tartare sauce, gherkins etc they even have cans of fizzy pop to wash it down. It’s dog friendly too!

Amazing and nostalgic - Edit
The food at No Catch was phenomenal, possibly the best chips I've ever eaten and the battered sausages were exactly like the ones I used to get from the chippie by my house back home before I was vegan! Highly recommend if you're craving fish and chips.

Excellent vegan chippy! - Edit
Perfect place to get your traditional chippy food, but all vegan. Brilliant!
Read moreI had the sausages and chips with curry sauce and it was divine. Just what I wanted.
I also had the oreo bites which are oreos deep fried in pancake batter. Tastes how you imagine. A fun novelty.
All in all I'd definitely recommend this place!

Delicious vegan fish and chips by the sea - Edit
This was easily the best vegan fish and chips I have had. The smoked haddock in particular was amazing. I also had the tempura prawns (also delicious), mushy peas and curry sauce. The restaurant was just off the seafront so not far to go if you wanted to eat your food on the beach. Very friendly staff too.

Vegan saveloy - Edit
Since going vegan one thing I missed most about the chippy was not being able to get a saveloy alternative. But this place has it and tastes amazing. Also friendly staff 💕

What a catch! - Edit
I had a large portion of smoked haddock with fries. Delicious! The tofish had a texture like a real fish filet and the taste was lightly fishy.

No Catch - Edit
I’m really looking forward to visit the shop one day, but I had the opportunity to try their delicious offerings when their food truck stood at Sheffield Vegan Market. I had to go with the smoked haddock as I’ve never found anywhere else with this on the menu. I was not disappointed. Gorgeous smokey flavour, great texture, crispy batter and the chips and tartare were also 👌 Look forward to trying some of the other dishes next time.
Read moreEdit: finally made it to the shop, fantastic place right on the seafront. I opted for the ‘cod’ and chips this time and it was just as delicious. It was a dry day so where better than to sit and eat than on the beach!

Fish & Chips - Edit
Vegan fish and chips shop right on the seafront. In addition to fish, they also offer a selection of other deep-fried items like prawns, calamari, and sausages (all vegan of course).

Great fishless & chip dinner - Edit
I wouldn't have said that I particularly miss battered fish. But.... this was a great fish free alternative to a proper seaside chippy dinner. The chips wers very good, not at all oily. The fish was flavoured really well and the tartar sauce really hit the spot. I really was pleasantly surprised. I ordered delivery so I can't comment on the sit in dining experience. I will probably come back when I fancy a junk food and summer seaside feast.

Huge Portions - Edit
I was so excited to visit here.
Read morePros...
•The portion sizes were massive, I had Vegan Haddock and Chips and the Tofish bites. I couldn't finish it.
•Lovely seating area inside. And brilliant with allergies.
Cons...
•Unfortunately I just don't think it was for me, the meal just tasted too 'fishy' which put me off and was covered in oil! I was quite poorly an hour later.
Pros: Plenty of options, Responsibility price, Huge portions

Took two omnivores and they loved it. BIG portions tho! Would be good to have a small chips option and be able to buy the main tofish/haddock portions on their own. Food waste is not good for the planet too.

Great imitation, but very heavy - Edit
We tried the fish & chips from No Catch - I was very impressed with the taste of the fish, it’s a very good imitation, but the texture is very stodgy and heavy. Paired with the chunky chips, it was all a bit heavy and I felt very full very quickly. It doesn’t flake like actual fish does. I’m glad I tried it once but it’s not something I’d eat regularly!
