Delicious vegan shawarma bowls!

I would have given 5 stars if allowed, but the restaurant isn't vegan. This bowl was EXCELLENT!! Fully vegan, customizable and with many more options than Chipotle. They even have lentils and chickpeas. They also have not one, but TWO dessert options!! Because it was my first time in, they offered me a few dessert. I highly recommend 👌

Pros: Lots of customizable options, Choice of vegan desserts, Friendly staff

Cons: A bit pricey , Not close enough to me

The superior “Chipotle”

The Mexican camel is a delightful culinary retreat with an amazing family owned staff. Imagine chipotle meets Tex mex & Mediterranean.
They have vegan soups, churros, baklava, tacos, burritos & pitas. They carry vegan protein options such chikun, beef & falafel. Large selection for toppings. Try their cilantro or chipotle sauce to top your entree. If you’re visiting the universal Orlando resort I would advise getting their food delivered to your hotel.

Delivery option!!

This was an option on Uber Eats. I ordered the vegan taco bowl which was amazing. It was loaded with crumbles, black beans, rice and veggies! My boyfriend got the vegan pita which was good, but the falafel and pickled veggies weren't his favorite. After trying it myself, I felt the same way. The churros were an excellent sweet treat afterwards.

Same concept as Chipotle/Cabo Fresh

The Mexican Camel is very similar to Chipotle or Cabo Fresh, where you can build your bowls with the typical ingredients (rice, beans, veggies etc). The food is very good. We had the falafel, Beyond Taco Bowl and Shawarma Vegan Bowl. Decent portions and very tasty.

Delicious Mexican/mediterranean fusion

Got the Baba Bowl with vegan chicken, chickpea salad, rice and lentils, pico de gallo, pickled onions and hummus - absolutely fabulous. They have a Mexican bowl with black beans and beyond meat, or you can build your own bowl. They also have a pita dish that looks amazing. The owner/manager gave us free churros (also vegan!)

Incredible Food

I would give this restaurant a 5 star if the app would let me!
(It won’t because it’s not fully vegan)

I am amazed at the how incredible the food here is!! I had to come back two nights in a row to try more of the amazing options they have!
I had the Vegan Baba Farmer Bowl the first night and was blown away! Finished off with some VEGAN BAKLAVA and my second night I had Nachos with their Vegan Chicken Shwarma and vegan cheese! And finished it off with Vegan Churros!

Honestly 10/10!!
The staff were so kind the first night and very accommodating and the second night they remembered us and gave us our dessert on the house!

If you’re in Orlando this is a MUST!

My boyfriend is Non- Veg and he had the regular chicken shawarma bowl and a burrito and was just as blown away by the flavors as I was!

Pros: Delicious Vegan Chicken Shwarma , Extremely Kind and helpful Staff, The flavor is unmatched

Cons: None, None, None

Loved this place

Lots of great vegan options! Pan fried the vegan chicken shawarma fresh for me and loved all the pickled veg. Churro was also fresh fried!! Great bowl of food, would return! ...I gotta admit I’m less certain of the fusion though 😆

It’s not all that.

Before going I looked at reviews and I was expecting I guess too much because of so many people saying they were so good but me and my family picked three meals out of the vegan options and first it was overpriced and second it wasn’t all that it’s just average taste. I mean it was not amazing and it is completely like chipotle style.

But the reason why I chose two stars is because the customer service well let’s just say there is none.

I would think it was better customer service since it looks to be a family owned and operated business but there was none. Shm they can be so much better with just that change.

All vegan options cost more then the non-vegan. I feel like they do this because they know we have no other option if we eat vegan.

Thanks

Pros: Has vegan options

Cons: Had no Customer service, Food is average , A little overpriced.

I've only ever gotten takeout here but the food is phenomenal! My carnivorous boyfriend and I order once a week and we are both extremely happy with the quality of the food.

Healthy, fresh, fun concept. Try this place!

This restaurant that features a mash-up of Mexican and Mediterranean food is so clever and fun! When you walk in, you feel like you're stepping into a well-designed fast casual chain restaurant, but we learned this is the only location and they've just celebrated their 1-year anniversary. There are plenty of vegan options to fill your belly. I had a falafel bowl with a base of lentils and rice. To that, I added black beans, pico, a black bean/corn salad, lettuce, chickpeas, sauteed peppers and onions, roasted zucchini, tabbouleh, and a tahini sauce. I was really hungry but couldn't finish the whole bowl. Portions are generous! The food wasn't too salty for my taste (which often happens when I eat out). I would have given The Mexican Camel 5-stars if possible. :)

They had other options that are likely vegan that I didn't ask about - lentil soup, guacamole with chips, hummus with pita. You can also get tacos, burritos, and salad. Service was fast and friendly. The decor is really cool and the restaurant is very clean. Go check this place out if you have the chance!

Pros: Lots of fresh, vegan options, Fun concept combining two of my favorite cuisines

Cons: Wish there were more locations!

OMG So good!!

My first time here. Very clean, bright, and spacious interior. The concept is similar to Chipotle where you build your meal, but it’s Mexican-Mediterranean fusion. There are also way more options. I got a huge felafel bowl with all sorts of goodies for $5.99. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Bright clean interior, Very affordable
