Two cheese crepe is to die for - Edit
Drip coffee has cinnamon in it and is only 2.95 including oat milk. A latte is $4. My partner and I got the two cheese crepe which really exceeded expectations, and the grain crepe which was fresh and fruity and delicious also. We went on a Tuesday late morning with no wait.
Read morePros: Lots of vegan options, Oat milk isn’t extra
Cons: Outside has flies

Awesome menu, hoped for better execution - Edit
Love that this place is all vegan and they have such an expansive menu. I got the Huevos Rancheros and it was cold, cheese wasn’t melted and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. The server was super nice but it felt like they just threw everything together on a plate. I would try again, because of other reviews and it being an all vegan place. Hoping I just caught them on an off day!

So good. You have to try it. Even the cakes are vegan! - Edit
On my first visit I was blown away by the taste of their quesadillas. Never have I ever had anything so yummy and it was good for my heart! It’s such a big place, it doesn’t look like it from the parking lot. You can have a whole party in there with room to spare.
Read moreSecond visit, the same dish had some bad kale and was not really tasty. I suggest you have them leave the key all of your quesadilla and ask them to put on regular lettuce.

Always Delicious - Edit
This has got to be my favorite place in LA. Huge menu but the Mexican food is their area of expertise. Everything is always fresh and served in very satisfying portions. Great house-made hot sauce that you can buy by the bottle.

Ehh - Edit
Ordered the eggs and bacon bagel breakfast and upon picking it up, all of the eggs came straight out as they’re scrambled. Also, the bagel didn’t taste to fresh. Bacon was good though. Restaurant has a very large menu so I’m sure other items are better.

Awesome Variety & Filling! - Edit
Great place for Vegan food & desserts. The workers at the locations I've been to at Culver city & Redondo Beach are awesome.
Read moreParticularly at the Culver City location I would like to recognize employee Edwin Domingez for his kindness, care, & service. For my birthday I went there for brunch- & he was extremely attentive in every way. Management, please recognize him in some way. It's because of people like him that make me want to come back to a place.
The food is great too- the wet burrito of course, the chorizo sandwich with garlic aioli sauce, the veggie savory crepe & their unique desserts.
Thanks again Edwin & the team at Culver City & Redondo Beach. ( I haven't had a chance to visit the other locations as of yet )
Pros: Variety of Food, Good Value, Friendly Staff

I LOVE The Grain Cafe! - Edit
I have been coming to The Grain Cafe for years now, even before I went fully plant-based - they are ALWAYS consistent, friendly, hard-working, and the food is affordable for everyone. I have probably dined in or gotten take-out from here 25-30 times, and I LOVE it!
Read moreI usually get the breakfast items like the breakfast crepes or the breakfast burrito, but today I tried the vegan Reuben sandwich and it was so delicious! I also love their desserts and smoothies/juices! Definitely check this place out if you haven’t been yet!

Good - Edit
I've had several meals here and really enjoy them. The only thing I haven't liked is their potato wedges, something about them just isn't working, I love potatoes so I'm picky.

You can’t go wrong! - Edit
I am a recent fan of the Grain Cafe with full intention on spreading the news about this great cafe tucked into a mini mall on Venice Blvd. I have been there twice this week; my first trip I ordered the club sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the chile rellenos. Both were far out! Our second trip, we went for breakfast and ordered the Huevos con chorizo and the Grain crepe. It’s fair to say you can’t go wrong with what you ordered!

Good Mexican Food, Nice Space - Edit
Saw this on HappyCow and gave it a try, was just here a few weeks ago. Here's my Culver City Grain Cafe review. It's a big restaurant tucked in a corner of a small plaza next to other restaurants. The menu is big as well - I need to come back to try the other stuff.
Read moreThree of us shared the Mexican combo platter (taco, relleno, and enchilada) and a wet burrito. The portions are generous, and the taste is very authentic and delicious. The sauces can be a bit spicy, fyi. The cakes we tried, strawberry one and chocolate one, are both pretty good.

This is one of those places where they have a ton of stuff, but I always end up getting the same order every time because it's so good. Wet burrito and a slice of strawberry cake. Hot damn!

Looks small from the outside, but is fairly big inside. I had the wet burrito and it was amazing. Could’ve done without the daiya cheese, but the green sauce was bangin! The bottled chile they brought out is housemade and really good. The tres leches cake was not as saturated as it should be, but it was still bangin! Highly recommend
