Great vegan junk food. Tiny venue. - Edit
The burgers are amazing and it's really cheap. The cocktails were lovely but took ages to be made. I think the staff may have been learning. The biggest downside for me was the space is tiny and it's really hard to eat perched on a side shelf. It was crowded and we kept being jostled when we were eating. It's also way too loud for the size of the venue.

Pub for vegetarians - Edit
The Full Nelson is more a pub than anything else, yet they still manage to make the effort to offer a creative and fairly varied menu. Their burgers are definitely decent, the one I had was called "Colonel" - it was quite a classic composition with not much funkyness, but very tasty patty with a fantastic consistency - not sure what it was made of but it seemed like a combo of seitan and soy and played well together with the sauces. They also have a decent beer collection to offer.

First experience of vegan food while visiting London and LOVED it. The OG burger was one of the best vegan burgers I've had, the mac and cheese was amazing and the loaded fries were so tasty. Unfortunately a few options weren't unavailable. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere and staff.

Full Nelson have the best burgers, hands down, in London! Me and my partner are really big on vegan junkfood and honestly full nelson is simply the best. Yes, there isn't much choice compared to many other pubs and bars and yes, the place is small, but why make it complicated when you are doing the absolute best of what you are doing. The burgers all have different oomph and the sides are all so tasty too. Especially the colonel burger and cauliflower side is just heavenly! the whole menu can be veganised as well as the cocktails which are really amazing. Highly recommend the vegan white russian, so good! The atmosphere is pretty cool, staff are nice and food is quick, delicious and prices are mid-range.
Read moreThe full nelson is in Deptford, so if you aren't local be warned, the isn' much to do afterwards, so you basically would be coming into the area just for the food experience, which in my opinion is so totally worth it, unless you have something else planned. There are some funky pubs up the road, but that's about it. About 15-20 mniute walk to Greenwich though.

Unfortunately on the day and time we went there (Saturday at 1.15pm) they were only serving two burgers from the main menu, both of the chicken ones. Most disappointing that we didn't have the choice. The burger was ok, fries were good.

The burgers and stuff are all great, basically the same lineup as Waiting Room used to do. I wish they did more stuff - I'd take friends a lot more often if they did a simple salad bowl / taco / etc - just something a bit different

The Best Place for Vegan Burgers! - Edit
We went out of our way to try The Full Nelson when we were in London this past August ... And were we ever glad we did. The vegan burgers were awesome, the staff friendly and a decent selection of beers. All vegetarian with vegan substitutes for everything ... Yes, it's a tiny venue, so beware ... But that does add to the charm ... Of course, you can do what we did, and get there when they open! They're just two blocks from the Deptford Bridge DLR station. If in London, don't miss the opportunity to visit The Full Nelson!

The Full Nelson is an amazing place to eat if you are vegan. The whole menu is available as meat-eater or vegan equivalent. Even the BBQ ribs can come as a vegan alternative which I've never tried.

I am so happy this place opened! It is some of the best vegan junk food I have had in a very long time. The 'cheese' they use is so creamy and good! The burgers are ace, but I personally like the amazing sandwich they do the most.
