Best vegan in Lisbon

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Have. Even 3 times now over a few years and it never disappoints. The food is UNREAL. The atmosphere is so lovely with the eating in the stairs (you can sit inside but it’s small and the real experience is the stairs so opt for that). They have beer, wine, and spirits as well. We got 6 tapas, 1 entree, an appetizer, 2 drinks, 2 soups, and 2 deserts among 4 people and it all costs €50,90 ! — just go now. Also the staff is so nice!

Pros: Best vegan food, Amazing atmosphere, Affordable

This place is heaven

I had such a nice evening here eating really good food. The staff is friendly. The place is
definitely queer friendly too.
Sit outside on pittoresque steps with a cool makeshift table or inside and meet new people at your long table.

Pros: Good food, Changing menu every day, Friendly staff

Cons: Hard to find, Small, popular, busy: make reservations.

Amazing

Honestly some of the best food I have ever eaten. My meat eating friends were blown away, so much so that we came back the next night for more! Hard to get a table though so make sure to call and get a reservation.

Pros: Wide variety of food, Delicious

OMG a must eat place!

We had to use Google maps to find it. My non-vegan friend and I were so pleased to find the resturant. We were bowled over by the food quality and the friendliness of the staff. Amazing atmosphere and working relationship of all staff.

Pros: eat inside or outside on the steps.

Cons: service slightly rushed. many customers.

Great place, great food and great staff.

Super cozy place alittle bit away from the tourist area. Changes their menu daily. We had 3 tapas, 1 main and 2 desserst for 2 people. Should have ordered bread... Try the beers from dois corvos!

Pros: food, staff, atmosphere

Best restaurant

The best restaurant I've ever visited. The food is so tasty, the atmosphere is great, staff is friendly. We went there twice during our week stay in Lisbon. Sunday was a busy night, we reserved ahead which was good. Wednesday evening wasn't that busy. Both evenings great experiences. Would recommend anyone in Lisbon to go and eat there!

Pretty good

We made a reservation for 7:30 and sat on the steps. We ordered one of everything (1 soup, all 3 tapas options, 1 main and 1 dessert) and we also had an iced tea and a beer and paid €30. The menu changes every day and unfortunately the meals this particular evening contained a lot of mushrooms, tahini and cilantro and we found it to be a bit monotonous (all tastes the same) and slightly too salty. Overall the food was fresh, the staff friendly and the atmosphere super cute. We were just a bit disappointed in the food.

Pros: Cute atmosphere , Tapas options , Nice location

Cons: A bit salty , All food options very similar

Friendly staff and quirky seating

We chose to sit on the steps outside as liked the atmosphere of it (they supply rugs so you don't get cold). The waiters were all really friendly and speak highly of the owner so its good to know its ethically run as well as vegan. They had run out of the main dish when we got there at just after 9pm so we had a soup (really nice) each and a bowl each of all three tapas (tapas tasted fine, nothing amazing though). Total with glass of wine and a juice was €27 which we thought was on the high side considering portion sizes (although we didn't leave hungry at all).

Pros: all vegan, friendly staff and ethically run, nice ambience

Cons: expensive, ran out of the main dish

Very disappointing

I went there hungry but feeling good and I left the place hungry and in a bad mood. The worst experience in Lisbon. the staff was dishonest.

I went there with 3 friends, and we asked for four dishes of the day (an ordinary request I think). The staff recommand us to take two of each tapas and the soup and to take just one dish to share, saying the portion is quite big. We ordered one of each tapas and a portion of soup with two portions of the dish for a start (we were hungry). After the tapas, the staff served us a plate we genuinely thought it was one portion of the dish we decided the share for two. The portion is honest for one but not so big. We decided to eventually take one portion each. The staff said us the plate was the two portions for share beetwen the four of us and they didn't have any left. We concluded the staff was dishonest and tried to led us to take a lot of tapas because they didn't have enough dishes.

Beside all of that, the food was good and if you usually eat small portions this place could do the job for you.

Pros: Good food

Cons: Staff dishonest, Small portions, Expensive

Supurb food

The staff was reallt friendly. I could sit on the steps on the outside. They made cute little tables for two persons.
The starter was a nice cold soup. The tapas was delicious, especially the mushrooms in ginger-lemon sauce.
This is a great place to visit in Lisbon. The only bad thing mightbe the dirty environment around the restaurant, but that's nitpicking.

Pros: Everything is vegan

Très décevant. Very disappointing.

Expensive and very, very little portions. Run away!
-------------

Pros: quite tasty

Cons: Expensive, smallest portions

Le meilleur restau vegan Paris Lisbonne confondu

Excellente surprise !

Ils d

Cute place, okay food

I loved the vibe and the setting. In a little courtyard in the Bohemian arty District, and you can sit on steps with a cute little table. And the place was buzzing! Service was great, too, but the food was nothing special and the prices didn't reflect that (prices were average). Still, I'd definitely come back and bring friends!

Okay vegan food

I pre booked as was advised then when we arrived we were told our booking wasn't there even though I had proof on FB messenger so that was awkward to start. Menu is small and changes daily, so there's a soup, 3 tapas options then a main then desserts. We advised to have it all but we weren't that hungry so just had the tapas but felt the waiter was annoyed at us for some reason. The tapas was okay, nothing special. It had a really fishy taste from nori and little fake shrimps. That was a strange experience from not eating meat then having a prawn textured & flavoured product. The main was a simple pasta and tomato dish so we left feeling a bit meh. Better places in Lisbon.

Delicioso

Restaurante pequenino, mas bastante acolhedor. Recomendo reserva. A comida vem em boa quantidade e em pratos muito bem elaborados. Talvez seja caro para a quantidade, mas é mesmo bom. Para repetir!!!

Excellent food and good ambiance

There were not many options, one main dish, 1 soup, 3 starters and 3 desserts. We ordered a deliciously light pumpkin soup, an endive salad with pear, walnuts and vegan cheese and a pesto pasta with great tasting vegan ‘shrimp’. A salted brownie for dessert and all of this tasted very fresh and delicious. Well worth the steep steps of the beautiful Alfama area.

Pros: Good organic wine!

lovely place

There was no place inside the restaurant when we came but they kindly offered us to sit outside on the stairs (they have these special tables) which was such a wonderfull experience! The menu changes every day. Each day you have one main, 3 startes, a soup and 3 desserts to choose from. The food was great, I would definitly go back and recommend!

Nice food, great atmosphere

First advice : Make a reservation ! The place gets full pretty quickly. The place is super cosy and the staff very helpful and attentive. It had a family kitchen atmosphere.
It was a special day so there was 5 different tapas and one bigger tapas instead of the main course.
Some of the foods were great, some others lacking come seasoning and a bit overpriced (like the big tapas, 5 raviolis for 7€) but overall a nice tasty experience!

Pros: original and homemade with care, great team, always changing seasonal menu

Cons: some portions are a bit overpriced

Magic spot, food is superb!

I love this place. The environment is so graceful. During summer you can eat outside on the stairs that are prepared for that purpose. In a very picturesque neighborhood. The food is divine!

Never more!

Unfortunately we couldn't taste any food in this restaurant.
When we arrived we were feeling like invisible. None of the staff noticed us. The worst part was when the table was offered to the people who came after us.
We are not used to this kind of unfriendly behavior in vegan or vegetarian restaurants. Nothing like this ever happened to us before!

Cons: unprofessional waiters

score!

we had the suggested soup, then shared three starters and one entree (an apple curry!) crowded, shared table, didn’t have reservations. everything was delicious but could have been more flavorful. pumpkin purée served with carrot chunks and tortilla chips? €35 for two (no alcohol) warrants a bit higher level of food nuance. thanks for fitting us in! friendly and efficient staff!

Pros: everything tastes so good

Cons: might not be able to seat without a reservation

New Vegan Guy

My first trip doing the whole Veganism thing and saw this restaurant on this app. Everyone's review suggested making a reservation but since I don't speak Portuguese and I live in SF decided to get there early to secure a table. Everyone was cool including the customers. The menu changes daily and is written with erasable ink. Loved the basmati rice with lentil (daal) coconut curry but reinvented. Totally lived it! I would definitely come back again. The restaurant is off the beaten path in an alley and very quaint location.

Pros: Menu never boring changes daily

Cons: Small restaurant with limited seating but you can
