texture of fish

When I first walked in and looked at the price, I went a wee bit disappointed because it was a bit more than what I would have wanted to pay. I ordered something anyway. When my Wish n Chips came, I took a bite and was so amazed by the texture of the "fish"!! The outside was crunchy (almost like a skin) and the inside was moist flaky meat. Definitely worth it!!

Marketing machine

I have mixed feelings about the Dutch Weed Burger. The positive thing is that the quality of the fake meat is really outstanding. If you are looking for real fake meat and don't care about the cons I'm about to mention, this is your thing.

The 'flesh' of the burger is great and the hotdog was great as well. I'll will return to taste the seawarma, but...

The burger is over priced (15e) as well is the hotdog (10e for a small hotdog), the quality of the other elements (letuce, sauce, bread) are below par. The place is modern and fancy, but lacks atmosphere (ok, very personal of course) and the crew acts a little like most hipster like service crews act in contemporary Amsterdam: like they are the coolest zombies in the world. Get your act together.

All in all is the Dutch Weed Burger a great Marketing Machine (which is not that common for vegans) which in a way is good thing, but once you seen through it, it becomes a little boring.

Pros: Great fake meat

Cons: Over priced, Crew, Atmosphere

Unique and amazing place

Definitely recommend coming here. The burger, the seawharma, the hotdog... all so good! Very friendly staff. Only critique is that sometimes it can take some time to get your order. Oh and the milkshakes... to die for (because they are not overly sweet). This is such a unique concept and I will definitely visit again soon.

My favorite in Amsterdam

Smaller menu but with simplicity comes quality. The weed burger and the seawharma wrap were both delicious, burger would be my first recommendation. the chocolate shake was also quite good. Comfortable, classy atmosphere and very friendly, kind staff.

Pros: Great staff, Good menu

Cons: Desserts seem to go quick so go a little earlier, a tad pricey, but understandable with quality ingr

A little bit of a disappointment

I loved the Dutch Weed Burger before, so I was very excited when they opened their Joint. I can't help to say that I was a little disappointed when my boyfriend and I ate here. The portions were small compared to the prices and the seawarma was too salty.

I do recommend the Dutch Weed Burger, that's a classic, and the milkshakes.

Bit weird, bit overpriced for fast food

I went with my boyfriend and we both had the dutch weed burger. It was a bit overpriced for a fast food place, but the chips portion was very generous, even if you did have to pay extra for sauces.

For me, the burger was just a bit... weird. It fell apart and tasted a bit strange to me, but i think i just wasn't sure what to expect. My boyfriend loved it though and would definitely go back, so it just depends on your tastes.

You could also buy desserts (brownies, space cake) and milkshakes, plus fish and chips (which i would get if i went back, or the hotdog).

Pros: Nice decor and location, Tasteful

Cons: Bit strange flavour combination, Overpriced

Deserves a prize

We recently stumbled upon this gem. The options on the menu are a welcoming step forward towards a cruelty free planet. There's a great variety of things, it's delightful to see the mixing of flavours and ideas. I would strongly recommend the Dutch weed burger; you are in for a blast of delicious flavours especially with both Kimchi and Misu sauces. The double weed burger (super high) is also great, though a bit difficult to eat and enjoy due to its size. The seawharma and the "dutchweed-seitan dog" are ok (they could havr moret red cabbage and sauces). As far as deserts are concerned, the space cake and fudge brownies are awesome! Basically you can't go wrong with anything you order! (; It's great to see a place like this is also actively informing against animal cruelty especially in captivity, so make sure to check the flyers they have around and skim the books, you might even find an intriguing new recipe or simply learn more about seaweed! The staff has a friendly and professional attitude. The downside to the place is its recent popularity, thus it sometimes happens that you have to wait a good amount of time for your order, but it is well worth it.

Pros: 100% vegan, awesome food, friendly staff

Cons: waiting time during popular times, a tad expensive

Super Tasty Fast Food!

I have been 3 times with non-vegan family and friends and they loved it! I have tried the Dutch weed burger, the weed dog and the seawharmer, it's difficult to chose a favourite! The fries are the best! Crispy and not too salty! The milkshakes are even better!! Again hard to choose a favourite, I've had them all! The brownies and doughnuts are super lekker! This is my new go-to place when I fancy something sweet. The service is friendly and fast! And it's located just off kinkerstraat, so easy to get to!!

Pros: Friendly staff, Very filling , Good Flavour

Cons: Doughnuts run out quick
